How old is Kiyoka in My Happy Marriage?
Appearance. Kiyoka is a strikingly beautiful young man of 27 years old.
Kiyoka Kudou (久堂 清霞, Kudō Kiyoka?) is the male protagonist of the My Happy Marriage series. He is the head of the Kudou family, the commander of the Special Anti-Grotesquerie Unit and fiancé of Miyo Saimori.
Appearance. Kiyoka is a strikingly beautiful young man of 27 years old. He has porcelain skin that is free from imperfections. His pale-blue eyes are framed by long ash-blond hair so fine as to be almost transparent and so phenomenally stunning that many women would be envious.2 He has a slender physique,3 and his movements are graceful and spellbinding.2 When he is walking, his long hair would sway with every step and his body would move with flawless precision.4 His mannerisms are so utterly refined that there isnt a trace of brusqueness. This gracefulness would befit a sheltered maiden from a noble house, and his fair appearance lends him an ephemeral beauty shocking to see in a man.1 Even from a distance, his enchanting presence turns heads.2.
Despite his slenderness and grace, he doesnt give the impression of a weak man.4 Years of military training has given him a deceptively sturdy build, and the skin on the palm of his sword hand is calloused and rough.5 Never failing to complete his daily training exercises, Kiyoka is a highly athletic person.6.

Dr. Fisher believes that marriages that take place when the couple is in their late 20s to mid 30s are most successful. By the time we are getting to the late 20s, we have a clear sense of who we are and what we want out of life, he explains.

Another key factor to consider?Age. While a successful marriage can occur at any point in life, there are some ages that the experts agree are more conducive to a harmonious partnership.

Just engaged? Congrats! A tenner on the first two questions you’ll be asked being: “Can I see the ring?” and “When’s the big day, then?”.
Well, before you even settle on the month you fancy, I’d love to share the insights I’ve gleaned from the hundreds of couples I’ve worked with. Here are the seven things you need consider before choosing a wedding date:
Naturally, the venue is a major part of your wedding and if you already have your heart set on somewhere, you’ve probably already begun to visualise whether it’s to be an indoor or outdoor event (therefore, you’ve probably subliminally considered the time of year, too). You’ll probably know to some extent how you want the space to look (thanks, Pinterest!), maybe the layout for dinner, where the band will be situated etc, so you’ll want to check out your options with the venue early on in the whole setting a wedding date process. NB. you might even need to work around the venue if it gets booked up well in advance.
What is the setting of My Happy Marriage?
Set in an alternate version of the late Meiji or early Taisho era, My Happy Marriage is a fairly classic take on the Cinderella story – especially if you remember that in many, if not most, variants of that tale Cinderellas father is alive and well and just watching his second wife abuse his daughter. Thats the life that Miyo Saimori has been living for almost all of her nineteen years; her parents were forced into an arranged marriage despite her father being in love with another woman, and when her mother died, her father quickly married his first love, upon which both he and his second wife transferred their anger onto Miyo. To make matters even worse, Miyo lacked the one quality that her parents were married for in the first place: a special power known as the Gift of Spirit-Sight. The birth of their child, Miyos three-years-younger half-sister Kaya, certainly didnt help, and by the time Miyo turned ten she was more or less kicked out of a family circle that barely accepted her to begin with.
Plenty of light novel heroines start life in a similar fashion, with recent (in translation) examples being Ill Never Set Foot in That House Again! and A Fairy Tale for Wizards, but in most cases the torment ends the moment the heroine is rescued. That is not the case for this story, and Miyos PTSD from the treatment she received at her family home is a major theme of the novel; just because shes no longer under the Saimori roof doesnt mean that shes magically cured of the trauma caused by years of emotional and physical abuse. While that can be hard to read, its also a point in the books favor because it gives Miyo something real to develop as a character. Theres no magical fix for her emotional issues, as her fiancé and his elderly servant quickly find out. The only things that will help Miyo to heal are kindness and time, and while this doesnt necessarily make her the most engaging protagonist, it lends an appreciable thread of reality to this story of Grotesqueries (spirits and demons). Not that fantasy romances are strictly required to be realistic, but its a good way to set My Happy Marriage apart from its brethren.
And it does have plenty of the hallmarks of fantasy romance that readers of the genre have come to expect. Mostly those are concentrated in Kiyoka Kudou, Miyos fiancé. Physically gorgeous, Kiyoka has a reputation for being incredibly cold and possibly cruel. The most talented Gifted of his generation, he heads up a special army unit for Gifted soldiers, and his hard-working personality is often misinterpreted as curmudgeonly. Naturally, thats not the case – hes just really not good at things like “emotions” and “not working,” but his personality is such that few of the spoiled young noblewomen his father has affianced him to are bothered to see that. Since Miyo doesnt expect anyone to be nice to her, shes not bothered by his attitude – but he is upset by hers, which is cringing and fearful in every single interaction they have. Fortunately for the story, hes not stupid, and neither is Yurie, his longtime servant. The two of them quickly figure out that something was very wrong in the Saimori household when Miyo was living there, and from there they begin to take steps to help Miyo regain a sense of self-worth and confidence.
How old is Miyo in My Happy Marriage?

In what era is My Happy Marriage set?
Adapted from the Japanese light novel series of the same name, My Happy Marriage is set in the 19th-century Meiji Restoration era. Its a time when having supernatural abilities is considered a privilege, and families with the most powerful abilities establish their monopoly. In this selfish and power-hungry world, a young girl named Miyo is subjected to the worst mental abuse by none other than her own family. My Happy Marriages premises may look like its inspired by the damsel in distress trope, but it tackles themes far more serious and sensitive.
Physical trauma heals at some point, but the one inflicted on the brain can leave far more painful traces. Even though Miyo Saimori was born into an upper-class family, she has been reduced to a mere servant forever at the mercy of her stepmother and sister. It has been like this for Miyo ever since her mother died and her father discovered she had no supernatural talent. Her stepmother abused her from a very young age, where keeping her locked in a dark room and starved was a thing of routine. The mental torture inflicted on her was so severe that even at the age of 19, she could barely move her body in her sisters presence.
Miyo was shipped off to the Kudo family so she could marry the ruthless soldier Kiyoka Kudo. Already traumatized by other peoples anger, Miyo is extra conscious of not disappointing Kudo. Acting as a servant and apologizing at every turn represents how deeply Miyos confidence has been tarnished. My Happy Marriage does a fantastic job of highlighting Miyos struggles through Kiyoka. Hes the one who realizes that theres something wrong with Miyos personality. His heart immediately gave in to the kind of atrocities Miyo had to face, and he realized that it wasnt only his love that could heal her. She needed her confidence back, and only her cruel family could give her closure.
Who is the strongest character in My Happy Marriage?
First up is action. In the world of My Happy Marriage, certain people are born with supernatural abilities. Among them, Kiyoka Kudou is often considered to be one of the strongest in the country, and we get to see his intense fights on multiple occasions throughout the series. From blasting a huge wooden gate to slashing through grotesqueries with his flaming swords, My Happy Marriage provides ample action sequences for Kiyoka to prove that there is more to him than just the prince in a romance story.
There are also elements of thriller and mystery going on in this series, particularly concerning the aforementioned supernatural beings called the grotesqueries. As it happened, it seems that the recent outbreak of grotesqueries is part of a larger sinister scheme from the imperial palace. As if thats not enough, to complement the mystery, My Happy Marriage also brings horror to the audience, particularly in the very last episode where Miyo has to face a dark version of herself while Kiyoka is stuck in a strange demonic realm fighting against hordes of rampaging grotesqueries.
So as you can see, watching the 12 episodes of My Happy Marriage is a roller coaster journey in its truest sense.
Do Miyo and Kiyoka kiss?
In the evening, Kiyoka and Arata share sake on the balcony, delving into the incident, the Gifted Communions objectives, the vial Tadakiyo found, and events in the capital. Kiyoka mentions that an investigator from the capital would arrive the next day to dig further. When Kiyoka reveals the founders name, Naoshi Usui, Arata reacts strongly and beckons Miyo over who came to check on the pair. He informs them that the Usuis are a Usuba branch family, but only Naoshi poses a threat. He possesses the Usuba Gift and was Sumi Saimoris prospective marriage partner. After she was married off to the Saimoris, he broke away from the family and has been elusive since. His current actions endanger the entire Usuba family. After Arata despondently leaves the room, Miyo worries about the Usubas. Kiyoka reassures her that he will help them, emphasizing the importance of mutual support to overcome any challenges together as husband and wife. He ends with a tender kiss on her lips.
The next day, Miyo reflects on the kiss and misunderstands its significance as a lesson on marriage. She helps with the laundry and encounters Arata on her way to the dining room, who assures her hell protect her from Naoshis potential threats. Kiyoka arrives and Miyo flushes from seeing him, leading to a playful exchange between the three. During breakfast, Miyo senses Fuyus mysterious glances. When she leaves the dining room, Kiyoka pulls her towards him, whispers to her not to forget about the night before and leaves her in confusion.
Miyo finishes packing when Nae and Fuyu Kudou enters her room. Fuyu expresses relief that Miyo is leaving, criticising her taste and appearance. However, she also admits that Miyos spirit of trying to act on Kiyokas behalf might make her worthy of him. She gives Miyo a white lace ribbon, calling it a garbage that matches Miyo perfectly, which Nae later explains is a proof that her mistress acknowledges her, adding that Fuyu is actually not as mean-hearted down deep as she may appear. Miyo then realizes how Fuyu and Kiyokas personality seem a bit similar, as they are both bad at expressing themselves.
Does Miyo’s father love her?
History. Miyo was born from a loveless marriage between Shinichi Saimori and Sumi Usuba, was arranged by their families to improve the bloodline. Her father opposed to the marriage but was forced by the Saimori family to break off his relationship with his mistress Kanoko, who came from a regular family with no special powers. Miyo was told that her father used to dote on her and that she was the apple of her mothers eye.1 However, later understands that her fathers kindness toward her when she was little hadnt been out of love: his tenderness was simply because she been a baby.4.
To prevent people from taking advantage of Miyos Gift of Dream-Sight, Sumi secretly sealed Miyos Dream-Sight power, soon after she was born.5 When her father discovered that Miyo couldnt demonstrate the Spirit-Sight ability, he instead was under the impression that she is Giftless and rejected it. He felt slight bitterness when the child of the woman hed been forced to marry in spite of his love for another hadnt fulfilled the familial expectation of inheriting a Gift. He started turning his back on Miyo while Sumi was still alive, even when she begged him not to reject his daughter.4.
When Miyo was two years old, her mother passed away from illness and her father wasted no time in a remarrying with his mistress, Kanoko, who despised Miyo since day one for being the child of the woman who separated her from Shinichi; had ensure that Miyo would understand that by constantly remarking to her that if she hadnt been born, then everything would be better, that her mother was a thieving girl and called her a homewreckers daughter. Meanwhile, her father was so overcome with guilt towards his second wife, consulted her for everythings. When Miyos half sister Kaya was born, he lost all interest in Miyo since he preferred the daughter of his beloved.1.
