Okay, they all kind of gave a really good plot idea for a “My Best Friend’s Wedding 2” sequel. I would go with the whole ‘rediscovering romance’ storyline between Cameron and Dermot’s characters. They call Julia’s character up for advice, she flies in to save them, and Dermot has second thoughts about Jules again, which leads her to call Rupert up and he returns as well!
They skipped a lot of the story. Right after sending off Michael and Kimmy, while dancing with Julianne, George comes out straight and proposes to her. Julianne is shocked and confused. She seeks counsel from Michael and Kimmy after they return from their honeymoon, they counsel her not to just marry George just because Michael is missing from her life. Still, George persistently follows Julianne, trying to prove his feelings for her, Kimmy begins to recognize George was genuine, tries to set up dates with Julianne and George, trying to persuade her to marry him. Julianne finally accepts George’s proposal, Kimmy is her maid of honour and Michael is George’s best man. However, on the day of the wedding, Julianne’s cold feet return and right as it is time to give her wedding vows at the altar, Julianne runs away. George chases after her, followed by Michael and Kimmy and their respective wedding party. What happens next is anyone’s guess.
