Please make a article on Responsibility. How to be responsible without taking any pressure? This responsibility comes in office work, handling responsibility of parents, handling responsibility of sister/brother in your family. I am asking that since I’ve taken responsibility of my work and my parents but when I become too serious about that I’ll become person who can’t do anything to cure that.
It was an amazing session… I literally cried when u were taking about parenting….even my parents show that they love me by giving materialistic support but I couldn’t make them understand that I need more mental support…I am a 12th grader and my life is going miserable because of my studies I need my parents to be my support system but we always end up with arguments…. I am completely depressed 😥😔😔
10 years back I was learning from you I made changes 5 years back you were stil inspirational I made major changes in life I am an earning adult sorted with my life purpose But everytime I see your article… I feel like a child.. I lisn to your articles like a child with that sparkle in eyes ki kuch naya sikhane mile na mile kuch accha wapis sikhungi… 🧡 Man you are a boon.
Hamare yaha abhi bhi 10 – 15 minute ki ek meeting me life partner choose karna pdta he.. Arrange marriage system me bhi koi problem nai he, but kam se kam 3 – 4 meeting to honi hi chahie. And ek dusre k ghar pe jake ek dusre ki family k sath bhi thoda time spend krne ka chance milna chahie. Because in India, marriage of 2 people is actually martiage of 2 family.
M or Mera boyfriend, hmari understanding itni acchi h, hm koi b bat krne se pehle jyada sochte nhi, ek dusre k sath bhut comfortable h, hsna, rona, dukh, pleasure, sb kuch bina soche jahir kr skte h,jbki hm ek dusre k ek dm opposite h…. Understanding bhut bdi chij h, hr riste me, gr understanding h, to koi b rista bojh nhi hota
Sir. Thank you for the knowlege in this session. But Honestly. We are aware of what kind of relationships and marriage should be. What kind of partner should a person be. And we indeed are learning this from your session. Still, there are many people are remain in a disfunctional family already. Many parents even are toxic. Many relationships are not even close to the kind of a good relationship should be. And sometimes, leaving it also is not an option. So maybe you can take a session on how do a person deal with loneliness or sadness or frustration when he is she is in a disfunctional family ( where leaving it is not an immediate solution). How to be happy irrespective of what partner I have, or what parent I have. How to be content with your own self. Because sometimes these families are so manipulative that they make you feel extremely guilty for all your actions. Even if you maintain a distance from them, they still make you feel you are not a good daughter/ son and this feeling kills a person inside. How to be Happy within, irrespective of anything and everything. Is there a really a thing called Causeless Happiness?

Hello Sir. I have been perusal your articles for more than 5 years, and I have watched every single article of yours for more than 3 times, including all the spirituality website articles. You have spoken about consciousness, but there is a misconception that the consciousness is produced in the brain. Can you please do a brainstorming session on this? I’ve had this doubt in my mind for a long time. It would be awesome, if you could make a article on this.
If you follow these tips to build up a good relationship with someone then you will be single in your entire life bcoz you will not able to find someone perfect Our mind changes faster than time so when our parents fix our marriage to anyone then we don’t go anywhere to find someone perfect and that’s why i assume that arrange marriage is best…
I dnt knw how you do it….but whenever m in need to calm down and believe in myself a little more…you always come up with the same topic i need guidance about…please keep up the good work you doing…you dont knw how many people are silently getting help, guidance and even feelng a little more confident about themselves after hearing you…❤️❤️
I am proud of my mom. She is my best and true friend of my life😊😊😍. She can’t stay away from me, but shill she chooses to stay away from me, when its necessary. But i can’t stay away from her even for a second, and i will never. Kyuki jo mere bure dour me humesha mere saath thi, usko main apne ache time me dur hone nhi dungi, dur hoeingi b to kheech loongi. Main hazaro baar bimar padi, kitni baar demotivate hui, kitni baar maine unke uppar apna gussa nikala hai (which i always regret😭), humesha har vakt pe har bure samay me saath thi to sirf aur sirf mumma. Aur koi nhi, sirf mumma. Kitna sehna pda hai meri vajah se unko. Apni khud ki self respect kuchali gyi unki muje support karne ke liye. Strong bnana, physically bhi aur mentally bhi. Mere andar ka dar khatam karna, darpok se diler bnana. Main kabhi b unko 1% bhi nhi lota sakti jitna unhone apne aap ko sacrifice kiya hai mere liye. Abi tak to shuru b nhi kar payi ho, pta nhi kab kar paongi. 😭 My heart and soul resides in her☺.
After listening 10 min. Forced myself to comment over here…taaki mei apni feelings ko jo mei us moment me feel kr rhi hu… Usee likh paau… Suffering from situation that what to choose… Love or Anjaan for marriage…for marriage we want settled person, good looks nd naa Jane kya-2… But when we got married with our love, we make them complete in every sense…no matter how he/she looks… Sometimes we try to make each other perfect for whole life….jo parents apne bcche k ly poori lyf krte rhte h in Indian culture..Ajnabi se shadi krne pr to ye demand shuruaat se chahiye… Could not stop my tears in this conversation… Aakhir shiv-shakti ki bhi to Baat aai h☺️… Thank u sandeep sir…. U give clear explanation that could easily be understood by parents also…so I m going to listen it my mother…🤗
Realisation of new something in my mind:- ** DISCOVER YOUSELF 🔥 ** Always be calmful & polite ( HAVE TO BE PATEINT in BEHAVIOUR) .. ** Make sure you’d be biased on RESPONDING not in Reacting.. ** To get rid of any emotional pain ; you don’t have to try of suppressing your pain, don’t have to be diverted from your pain . Rather than, to GET RID OF IT, first you’ve to BE ALWAYS READY to FACE that pain’s maximum level . ALWAYS REMEMBER:- “YOU’RE MORE STRONGER THAN YOU KNOW YOURSELF. ” 1. “Giving your undivided attention to someone is the beginning of a truly MEANINGFUL RELATIONSHIP .” _Sandeep Maheswari My REALISATION:- AND THAT BEGINNING WILL HAVE NEVER ANY ENDING … ( ONLY WHEN YOU BOTH WILL BE IN REAL LOVE ) 2. There is a great difference between LOVE & ATTACHMENT IF YOU LOVE SOMEONE YOU’LL BE DEFINITELY JOYFUL KNOWING IN THEIR WAY WHICH MAKES THEM BLISSED… Loving someone reflects their way for CREATING THEIR LAUGH EVEN THOUGH THEIR WAY OF FEELING GOOD MAY NOT BE YOUR WAY OF YOUR HAPPINESS… In the understanding of significance of LOVE:- (¡) Love is putting someone else’s needs before yours . (¡¡) If you love someone and in case if you’ve to choose only one option between IN THAT PATH WHICH MAKES THEM INSTANTLY HAPPY vs THE CHOOSING OF THE RIGHT PATH FOR THEM, ALTHOUGH IT CAN’T EVEN MAKE THEM HAPPY INSTANTLY.. REMEMBER: IF YOU LOVE THEN THEN NO DOUBT YOU’LL CHOOSE THE SECOND OPTION … 3. Whatever is happening is truly MEANINGLESS … And giving a significance on THAT OCCURANCE is called REASONING .
Nice lec sir u have lot of experience of maritial relation and it is 100 % right.marriage is not picture life.there is lot of compromise negotiation respect bad and good things happy and sad things maturity etc it is not just like flim just like hero heroine do.thereis lot of tension .insecurity.but if u handle it skillfully then it is very good.
Thank you for your strong efforts in this and so many issues of these times. You are to be highly commended for staying on this. Aur apply karein??? Pls sir iske upar ek short article banaiye
Really Like this topic as it was much needed for today’s generation. One Point i would like to raise is regarding expectations from bride side. Like i saw one matrimonial ad where bride was Just a B.SC graduate and Not working. but demanded groom who shall have six figure salary, Good looks, tall height, A car and a property/Land . what would you say on this point?

Sir I am your biggest fan, please answer these questions :\r \r 1. Why didn’t you use another route to communicate with Prakhar?\r 2. Why do so many of your posts keep getting deleted?\r 3. Why did you get angry, sir?\r 4. What are you going to do about the injury you have inflicted to Prakhar, sir?\r 5. Why only Prakhar, sir?
The last part was mind blowing sir As you had told that in every bad aur good situation if you and your patner both jave a perfect(laughter) smile in their face, that would end up with the long- lasting relationship 😂And the golden rule of the life is to be silence when your wife is quarrelling and also be silence when she is silence😂
@sandeep Maheshwari sir: please provide your thoughts on ” girl’s family manipulated the things for some reason like they liked the guy and what if marriage is happened and after marriage you come to know that we are completely different people” we are not able to adjust and understand each other.. I believe we should give some time.. But its been 4 years and we are loosing the bond and respect day by day and its not working out.. What can we do? Please suggest or do a session on manipulation and how to handle the consequences ??
Hope you found this article helpful. Marriage is a life-changing decision. There are many in delusion if marriage is the right choice for them or not, please share the article with someone you believe might benefit from this valuable information in their dilemma. We aim to promote wellbeing in the world!
I am 70 and my marriage has been very happy – so far! One great advantage is I have always admired my wife’s qualities and she has found things to respect in me. But also I made a private decision never to criticize her or blame her, in my mind or outwardly, but always be on her side. I think this helped greatly because I saw so many other couples had a habit of putting each other down, especially to their friends. Which meant neither could be whole heartedly happy. I have also always tried to help her to do whatever she wants to do. But luckily she is a very sensible and reliable person, which meant she never wanted bad things. But I would like to note some differences between the sexes I have seen. When women marry, they often put their whole heart into the thing, but men often hang back. If you spoil that pure heartedness of your wife by your selfish behavior in the beginning, you will miss out on something that will bring you lifelong happiness. Don’t ruin it through pettiness or immaturity! Be kind and big-hearted!
I am not against the institution called marriage. However, to comment that people who are unmarried can never grow spiritually is misleading. To state that you are incomplete without marriage is nothing but social stigma. Though I love Hansaji a lot, I felt her opinion was judgemental and negative against people who chose not to marry. Which ideally is against the principles of yoga. To live and let live Tatvamasi, is that not applicable here.? I understand her intention is to show people the right path about marriage and the strong bond and value this institution can bring into our personal spiritual and social growth but to say without marriage you are nothing is too bad. People shouldn’t get married to prove their self worth. Instead they should marry only if they want to share their life with another person. Who is not selfish? People get married to meet their social, financial, relationship, emotional, sexual needs etc. Now if someone feels whole themselves why demotivate like this saying no you cannot be complete without another person
But isnt it wrong the way you portrayed it? You could have taken some good example where both listen to each other in a better way? The man ordered her to heat the already heated rice for his own benefit while the women told him to wear a shawl for his benefit. It’s 2021 and people still think women should be the caregiver while the man can be dominant and order the women around?
This is hard to take in the western culture. Everything is dissected, from health, to business, to relationships and a different dimension is missing. Madam, you are so right. What can be happier than listening and just roll along providing both have a good heart. But if you just wear something that pleases your mate, the clothing is way inferior to the laughing of the time walking to the park with each other without arguments. We are so accustomed to race our mind, ready to convince, justify.
U were right first become friends understand them that’s important but in most of the families especially in mine ppl think if u spend time to understand it means u liked them and the decision should be yes but it’s equally important to know each other and decide it’s not about only our life it’s abt another person life too and in modern terms that’s called dating but arrange marriage has little to no scope for this since parents are involved both sides and they talk decide everything except about the choice and interest of the girl and boy who r getting married
There should be healthy arguments… The result of arguments should be to come to a conclusion together and not about winning the argument… Just because the spouse needs to invest in a loss incurring company and abiding by their decision will simply push the family into bankruptcy… Love is also about listening and not only about listening…love is made of multiple threads with many many small beads… The only thing is partners should be ready to put effort, improve themselves and work as a team in the marraige..i cudnt fully accept her ideology…marraige is not giving up even when things get difficult… I have seen many couples fighting daily yet couldnot stay away from each other for a day…so in a marriage make your own rules along with your partner..there is no one standard formula for every marriage…
Everything has evolved with time but not the institution of Marriage and one must give a thought to it and all your questions will be answered. They say Change is the only Constant but Marriage as an institution neither has evolved nor any improvements have being made to that Bond and personally I believe in love and not marriage because Krishna has taught me love is bigger than this bond of marriage. One can grow spiritually without marriage as well if one believes in love and not owning the other person what I see now a days people in marriage behave as if they literally own the other person and I hate the Government interfering in the Institution of Marriage. Marriage needs a total overhaul then only I can think about getting married till then there is nothing bigger than love and never will be anything above love 😊
Im married and marriage is wonderful…when there is love for each other…but at the same time the partner has to be reasonable and logical…Blindly things can’t be followed..couples are humans too so they need kind of advice in decisions its not that one has made decision and other has to blindly follow..Like daal rice wala example…rice thande hai daal toh garam hai na…why will one torture other person again and again…partner hai slave nahi….thoda reasonable hona chaiye….
Marriage as u said is continuous effort…. If I to keep putting effort all my life. When will I live??? I earn with lot of effort save up to spend it for a fentastic trip and to make one of my dream come true… Marriage is not adventure it’s actually effort as u said….all life we keep putting efforts in office… Effort in marriage and then die oneday…it only makes life frustrating
I agreed with everything you said, except the spirituality aspect. I may be wrong but why do some people choose celibacy as a path to reaching ultimate spirituality then? I think one can grow spiritually with or without marriage, it’s an individual & unique experience for each person. Marriage requires an immense level of emotional and mental stamina as well as a constant shedding of one’s ego on a daily basis. I think when you truly love someone and they truly love you back, then marriage becomes exciting, beautiful & meaningful
Thanks for this beautiful advice mam, from past few days my parents were forcing me to marry it just broke something inside me it feels like all my dreams will end of I get married now but I’m afraid also if I reject this Rishta now would I ever get better chance again in life like this but now I know what I should do from now on thank you mam
Here u r talking about relationship in the perspective of Indian tradition and culture, but when I see people around me I don’t find any Indian culture anymore India has been influenced by western culture a lot, and now a days having people making relationship for lust money, and cheating is very common I think if u live single u r free independent and happy
I am 26yrs old girl, my parents are searching boy for me.. I need love, caring husband in life but I’m not able to accept anyone, due to my over thinking and later I feel so guilty also for not saying yes.. What’s happening???.. Can anyone tell me how to convince myself that someone is right person for me.. How??
I heard too much adjust, compromise and no ask questions in this article, That’s sound not pleasant at all. We born alone and we will die alone. When it has to be alone, then why can we live alone. Alone is the peace and freedom. Keep your mind and body fit. Travel the new places, interact with people, follow your passion, take care your parents, help others and most importantly be happy that you’re alive everyday. I would say single life is way better than married life, only if you’re happy soul and living everyday with gratitude.
Mai 39 saal ki hu aur unmarried hu my mother passed away last year mere papa 77saal ke hai aur unki tabiyat bhi theek nahi rehti mara aur koi nahi hai now I am worried about my future and confused mai shadi nahi kerna chahti per jab mai budhi ho jaungi ya bimar hogi tab mai akele kese survive kerugi bas mere pass iss sawaal ka jawab nahi hai i am really confused i don’t know what I do.
Namaskar maam, I am 42 year old and recently divorced due to 11 yrs of bad relationship (not to blame anyone). I want to move towards moksha and solitude. I do have aim in life that I am fulfilling. However, my mind is still not calm and giving second thoughts too. How do I get myself focused and I don’t want to spoil someone life due to my way of living or health issues and so on.
Your story is very impressive but only if both are good as you described. But in reality one person is bad in less or more sense but one person from couple is agressive, some lazzy or selfish, some dominant so other one tolerate whole life (mostly women).. or one day stand against and spoil relationship…
It helps me a lot. Today I understand when we should marry and I think I am on the right way. I believe all these positive thoughts should also be applicable in a friendship relation so that we can respect and love unconditionally each other. Thank you very much for this article. I feel relaxed from today onwards.
In short you’re most likely to get screwed if you contemplate getting married and once you do get married, you will most certainly be screwed because then you’ve already jumped into the well. And who knows how deep this well is unless you jump into it. It’s all ok to do your homework but dynamics more often than not change after marriage.
It does not happen in Indian arranged marriages that the boy n the girl are allowed to spend time with each other’s families for entire day just to get to know each other well. I was shocked when she said that, bcz families still are very conservative about this even today. But, wonderful advices given. Thanks❤ a ton daadi!
My husband is caring, doesn’t mind my habits, love me so much without expectations, He is best in terms of me . Never utters or is angry at me Has appointed maid and doesn’t expect me to work Yet Marriage sucks He has all bad habits Keeps messy and unhygienic (though doesn’t expect me to clean. It’s like I’m mothering this nasty fellow. When he is around I just hate his presence. He asks me to hire a maid He come home drunk partying and doesn’t care if I’m waiting.
I really feel the story which is said here is misguiding . You should never listen to something blindly even if it’s said by ur parents or partner . Questioning should be done and if ur partner really respects then he or she should give you an explanation. That is what a healthy relationship is all about . The wife should understand that if it’s hot outside then why will she give the cloth to her husband in the first place ? And also the husband should understand that if the meal is already hot,why will he make her wife work harder ?
I’m in the same dilemma rn. I have been dating a guy for the past 4years and still I feel I don’t know him. It’s hard to end relationship now. He on the others hand is thinking to get married next year and I’m still in the process of understanding if I’ll be able to managed everything. I feel doubtful and frightened at the same time if my decision is right or wrong. If I should marry him cz I love him bt the changes after marriage I don’t know how am I supposed to managed.
I’m a below average man without handsome looks, low income, with long term illness, low confidence levels, afraid of women, with heavy financial burdens. So how I’m suitable for marriage ? when I’ve these many negatives how can I expect someone can come in my life. If a woman comes in to my life due to my miserable life style even she has to suffer along with me. I’m trying to make my life balanced but my health condition makes a set back. I’m trying to convince my parents that I’m not interested in getting into relationship but they’re not agreeing how can I convince them.
Mam that doesn’t happen in Indian arrange marriages, people don’t get time to know each other much and they are not even given the chance to know. Not all men and women are great.. some become prey to their partners or in laws . It’s all dramatic and we are forced to deal with it. Not everyone will be helpful
I am afraid to live with in laws, What if I have to live my life on his mother’s terms What will be the use of getting married when I can’t take my own life’s decisions Instead I can live my life on my own terms How to find if someone right for us in arranged marriage where u get to meet a guy only once and no one shows their true colours in just one meeting 😢
Kitna v soch samajh k life partner choose karo lekin usme kuch na kuch to kaami hogi hi or kuch aise harkatein v hogi jo tumhe pasand na ho . Shaadi ko successful banane ka sirf ek matra tarika ye hai ki shaadi ko ek Pavitra bandhan samjho or jisse tumhari shadi hui hai usko apna sabkuch samjho or yahi soch dono partners ki honi chahiye . To shadi aise insaan se karo jisko ye pata ho ki shadi ka ashli matlab kya hota hai . Paisa or chehra dekhkar Shadi kavi mat karo.
Nice article. However, bit unrealistic to draw analogy with saint/Gods’ marriage in today’s day and age. Being caring and respectful does not mean lose your mind. Reheating steamed rice is waste of resource. Also in India, marriage is never just about the spouses, there is an entire package associated.
Why to marry. I have only life. There’s so so so much to explore. So much to do. Many many dreams. There’s whole universe out there. Earth is nothing in front of it. Who knows when we are gonna die. I may get die tomorrow. Enjoy life to fullest. Follow your dreams. Invest in yourself. Don’t fall in society trap.
I do not agree when you said marriage is important for spiritual journey..that’s not true at all .. marriage has nothing to do with spiritual journey.spiritual journey is your own ..and your death is also your own ..it doesn’t even matter whether you r walking alone in life or walking with your partner and kids . spiritual journey is all about your own understanding about life and your purpose on this planet and how you grow while facing your pain ..how you handle your emotions and how good you r when it comes to treating others.. when you become one with nature and universe.. when you see things beyond explanation and when you know no matter whether you r with others or not end of the day ..we have to walk alone and die alone but you have no complaint.. …just because two people r married that doesn’t mean they r growing spiritually and becoming spiritual .. absolutely wrong marriage is an institute.. specially designed to control people and their lives and their freedom by the name of fear of being lonely ..fear of old age and fear of insecurity..and hope of getting love and finding right one .and live happily ever after .however few people will definitely have great married life but many of them will only suffer and live with toxic partners ….and stuck into wrong marriages because of kids and financial insecurities.. marriage is more beneficial for kids because human .kids take almost 18 years to grow up . marriage gives more security to kids they get education..food .shelter .
I am 23 going to be in second year of dental college this year and my bf is 6 years older to me we have thought of marrying but it is coming suddenly on me i am still in my college and my father is funding all my education we have a relationship of four and a half year i am really confused should i convince my parents for him or should i just focus on myself and my career right now . I am open to suggestions please give your thoughts on this
Actually i have someone in my lofe who is approaching me for almost 9 months from 9 months he is like that i will give u everything i will marry uu and give all kinds of commitment but now when i said yes for yhe relationship he is likethat his parents will never agree and he said to me that i should stay with him as like his girlfriend and said that there will never be a marriage between us. So just tell mewhat should i doo about him?😢
I agree to all the points the woman explained ! But she said one wrong Point!! Which is purely wrong! Who said by being single one may not attain spirituality??? What about Swami Vivekanand?? He was always a virgin and a Gr8 Soul! I am 27 years old! And I have seen many things in life! Am happy being single! I achieved many things in life by being single! Single life is the best life! Than being in relationships with the wrong person! And the lady also said inorder to find the right person, one has to spend more time! With another person! So its ideally like Boyfriend/ girlfriend! It doesnt make any sense to me, cos I feel its just a waste of time! Cos one may never know when the relationship would break especially this being Kaliyuga!.. By being single, one can indeed attain many spiritual stuffs! Which is already mentioned in Vedas/ Upanishads, and also Sanatan Dharma!😊🙏🙏 there is more to achieve in life ! Than being alone and making one feel alone with the wrong person! We are born alone in this universe! And we Die all alone! Everything around is just temporary! Buddha once said, nothing is permanent, everything is just an illusion
Sorry to say but the example you have given portrays an image of a wife of medieval period who wasn’t’ allowed to do anything of her own other than fulfilling her husbands wishes and taking care of him. it’s not contemporary and we shouldn’t search happiness in marriage or by being single. Happiness comes from inside not outside. Just sharing my point of view which might not be pleasing for everyone.
With all due respect to you, I’d say no matter what you preach, I’m happy being alone and would never marry, this is your POV but in real world you never know any person’s circumstances and what’s his/her priority, so it’s better not to come up with such judgements and asking people to get married. What about the yogis who don’t get married at all for the sake of getting on a spiritual journey, judgmental much? So sad to hear !
Im sorry but I don’t agree with this lady. She says that husband and wife should not have logic and reasoning and they should just blindly listen to each other. That is nonsense. If I act the way this Guru acted with his wife and ordered her around an independent woman of today would probably give me a slap on my face, hence we should be careful while talking to today’s women or men for that matter. Logic and reasoning is important in relationships. If the husband tells her to go jump in the well, should she listen ?
Namaskar. I need help. I am going through deep emotional turmoil for past few months. I love a girl. I also know that she doesn’t have the same feelings for me. But deep down I wish to be with her. I want her to be with me for the rest of my life. Everyday, I have a constant fear running in my mind of not having her with me. I try to divert my self from this by trying to keep myself busy but still I come back to her even when I am doing things. I really love her but also the fact that she doesn’t is not going to change. What should I do?
Remember, Hansaji’s advice is obviously from female viewpoint… so her perspective has an inherent female bias… in Indian spiritual traditions many men renounced marriage and home for sake of spiritual attainment… women mostly always like to marry… wish we could also hear a viewpoint from male equivalent of Hansa ji 😊🙏
Sorry but iam not satisfied with your example of follow everything while we know it is wrong ….give some other example like man and women have to sort out their issuse by talking calmly and make out a way where two person are satisfied not they way in your example u said if weather is hot wife said put shawl and he put it ..it is dumbness .. arguments,up downs, quarling, patchuping is part of marriage iam not against marriage do if people are mentally prepared to marry or if u r not then take u r time as simple it is
If the spouse says you should buy her a diamond ring of 50 Lac, should you simply obey? If the spouse is not okay with you talking to other opposite-gender friends, should you simply obey? Also, if the spouse does not have a healthy eating habit, should you simply eat her favourite food because sharing is caring? I was expecting her to advocate her for marriage, because she is just another aunty…
