Sekirei: Pure Engagement is a continuation of the 2008 series, as Sahashi Minato endeavors to catch as many girls as possible to add to his harem collection. The battle to find the supreme Sekirei continues, with some fighters and their masters refusing to participate in the battle, while others care about their partners. A storm is rising on the horizon, and a bigger threat approaches the city.

The 2010 sequel, Sekirei: Pure Engagement, delivers on its predecessors promise, with more fanfare and humor. The showdown between Musubi and Tsukiumi takes a tragic turn when rival Sekireis join the fight. Later, Minato and Higa finally meet face-to-face.

Streaming, renting, or buying Sekirei – Season 2 is available in the United States, but there are no options to watch it for free online in Canada. The anime features plenty of fanfare and humor, and the set comes with English SUB and DUB.

He starts as the most aloof member of the harem and refuses so strongly to accept Minato as his Ashikabi that Minato has to more or less wing him against his will to save Homura from being killed by his own flames. Sometime later, Homura realizes he has long stopped hating Minato and is falling as hard as the girls for him, but still doesnt show it openly. By the end of the series, Homura has fully accepted his love for Minato and no longer tries to deny or hide it around him and becomes more open with him than before.

Is Sekirei pure engagement worth watching?

If youve read the manga, you should definitely watch the anime (and vice versa). This Blu-ray/DVD combo is definitely worth the money. You have all the episodes from both seasons, along with commentaries from the Funimation voice actors, trailers and OVAs.

Biography. Homura is a transfer student who was hospitalized for a heart disease, after which she became friends with the shows protagonist, Madoka Kaname. She discovers that Madoka is a magical girl and witnesses her death. As a result, Homura decides to become a magical girl in order to traverse back in time and save Madoka. Since then, she has traveled back in time multiple times in attempts to save Madokas life. In the Rebellion movie, Homura becomes a witch. Madoka, in her god form, comes to take Homura in accordance with the Law of the Cycle. However, Homura fractures Madokas existence, rewriting the universe as Madoka once did and becoming a devil.
