Where do you put the wizard tower?
Put the Wizard Tower near your Town Hall to defend your village. It does a lot of damage and shoots a lot. However, the Wizard Tower’s limited range sometimes makes it better to put it near your village. Ultimate Arcane Defense! Tower Wizards cast spells that affect both flying and ground troops.
Summary: The Wizard Tower is a defensive building that looks like a spiral rock tower with a Wizard on top. It can damage both ground and air units, but only at short range. The Wizard Tower and the Mortar are good at killing groups of troops. The Wizard Tower is more effective against higher health troops like Giants and targets air troops in addition to ground troops. Unlike the Mortar, it has no blind spot. The Wizard Tower’s arcane blasts do less damage per shot than the Mortar, but it has a much higher rate of fire. This makes the Wizard Tower an excellent choice for defending other structures by blasting troops that get too close. The Wizard Tower can target both ground and air troops, but can only damage either ground or air with each shot (not both). If a Wizard Tower targets a Giant with Balloons on top, only the Giant will be damaged. In higher town halls, it might be good to put the Wizard Towers on the outside of the base to damage tankers.
What is the strongest guild in Sao?
Description: The Knights of the Blood Oath were the strongest guild in SAO. They had many skilled members. They were formed a month after the game started by Heathcliff. He wanted to help players survive. He was the Guild Commander, while Asuna was the Vice-Commander. The Guild was always looking for new members, like Kirito. The Guild seemed stronger than it was. Heathcliff said the people never followed his orders and blamed Kayaba when things went bad. This made Heathcliff insane.
This is different from the original. The Knights of the Blood Oath was just called The Knights of the Blood in the English dub. The Knights of the Blood Oath is the Japanese name. Kayaba didn’t form the Knights of the Blood Oath to help players. He planned to betray them and reveal himself at some point. Because Fluffles never existed, and Collinia didn’t fall to ruin, nothing related to the King of Ashes happened.

Basement Room. After reaching four hearts with the Wizard, players can change their name, gender, favorite thing, and appearance. The Shrine of Illusions costs 500g each time. Fairy trees are sacred to the wee folk. Many superstitions surround them, involving magic and bad luck. Some think if you hurt or cut down a fairy tree, you’ll have bad luck. People are afraid of touching them. Farmers often work around these trees, even if it means they can’t grow crops where the tree stands. What are the three fairy trees?
List of trees. Oak tree. The oak tree is important in many Celtic cultures. The ancient geographer Strabo said that the important sacred grove and meeting place of the Galatian Celts of Asia Minor, Drunemeton, was filled with oaks. In an often-cited passage from Pliny the Elder’s 1st-century AD book, the druids climbed an oak tree, cut a bough of mistletoe, and sacrificed two white bulls as part of a fertility rite. The Romans in Britain worshipped a goddess of the oak tree called Daron. A river in Gwynedd is named after her. The Lebor Gabála Book of Invasions says the sacred oak of early Ireland was that of Mugna, probably at Dunmanogoe, south Co. Kildare. After Christianity came to Ireland, people still worshipped oaks. St. Brigit’s monastery was at Kildare, where the oak tree was sacred. St. Colum Cille liked the oak grove at Derry. Durrow, in Ireland, means “oak plain.” In Welsh tradition, Gwydion and Math use oak and broom to make Blodeuwedd beautiful. Lleu Llaw Gyffes is about to be killed by Gronw Pebyr, his wife’s lover. He escapes in eagle form onto a magic oak tree. In British fairy lore, the oak is one of three magical woods. In Proto-Celtic, the words for oak were daru and derwā. In Old Irish and Modern Irish, dair. In Scottish Gaelic, darach. In Manx, daragh. In Welsh, derwen, dâr. In Cornish derowen. In Breton, dervenn. The ash tree is important in Irish mythology. Storyline: A computer hacker learns from mysterious rebels about the true nature of his reality and his role in the war against its …
I still remember going to the movies without knowing what the movie was about. I was completely zero-hyped, didn’t watch any trailers and was completely clueless about it, someone just said as they invited me to come “It’s about a virtual world”. And then I left the movie theatre simply FLABBERGASTED and BLOWN AWAY asking what the hell I had just seen. I KNEW I had just watched the best movie of my entire life up to that point. I never got that feeling again.
Fun fact: For the crowd in this scene, the directors hired a huge amount of identical twins and mixed them together to form a crowd. The wachowski siblings wanted to give the scene a sense of deja vu of seeing the same person twice. You can spot a few of them together like a pair of sailors. It also potentially gives away that this is a training program with limited rendering capabilities
Looking back on this scene, it’s really cool to identify all the filmmaking/storytelling techniques that went into it. Majority of background actors being twins, all walking in the same direction while Morpheus and Neo walk “upstream” against the grain. Morpheus walks through seamlessly showing us how he is in complete control of this space and has all the knowledge and experience of what he’s trying to teach Neo. Neo gets bumped and hit trying to keep up and is easily distracted, he is trying to “keep up” with the bombardment of new information, discovering this new world, different from everything he knew up until being unplugged. You’ll also notice that while they are walking, the camera on Neo is handheld, so it’s more shaky and jarring, while the camera on Morpheus is either on a dolly or steadicam, much more stable. The attention to detail and emphasis on the little things like these is what makes this such a timeless classic, one my most favourite films I’ve ever seen.
Noticed something at 1:31 If you look at Morpheus’ glasses reflection, there are always opposites occurring. On the left, you see Smith with the gun pointed at Neo. In the right, you see just Neo. Later on the scenario flips in reverse; left becomes just the gun with no Neo, on the right is Neo with the gun pointed at him. I believe this symbolizes (like the Red and Blue pills), that Neo has the power to choose/change the Outcome.
The fact that all the extras are in pairs is no accident. It represents the limited processing power of the Nebuchadnezzar’s computer vs that of the Matrix. Less individual character models=less processing power. They’re optimizing, knowing that Neo, like most viewers, won’t even realize. So cool. Also, this not being the Matrix, the green filter is toned down, despite the green scenery.
No matter how often I visit each upload of this clip people perusal and commenting are Stills plugged in.. almost 100% of the comments are about the movie production what a Hit it was and Still is. About the actors especially Keanu. And Comments like those who Watched it upon release would nor did realize what a Classic it would be “Someday” and those are all of the “People” Morpheus was talking about.. those Stills after all these years remain plugged in and Missed the Lesson. Sadly will continue to sleep and stay IN The Matrix. It’s about the Big Picture and the Message.. one of those who fought and died amongst many was Christ and still today people mix Him with His Mess-age instead of Listening Learning Paying attention.. still looking at the WoMan in the Red Dress. Quite SAD for a Society that Still watch this CLASS-ic and refuse to unplug and BE Free as the day they were Born into it. It’s WAY over due the Time to Wake UP as Well the Mess-age is and unFortune-atley WAY Above mosts heads.
Fun fact: this scene like many was filmed in Sydney, Australia. You can tell because there’s a few seconds that show the commonwealth bank of Australia’s logo on the window. It’s yellow and solid black are (probably unintentionally) one of the only spots of vibrant colour in the simulation (with other colours like the trees green washed out).
I don’t think many fans read the many philosophy books about The Matrix, and how it reflects our society, and how dissociative we’ve become with each other, relying on machines to run our lives. That, and the fact that The Terminator was the prequel to The Matrix. First was the rise of the machines, then the war of the machines, then our savior arrives, dies, resurrects, and saves mankind.
I was about 10 at this time, my brother just invited me and my mom over to his room to watch this on the computer, it was Jan 1st 2000 I think. Never had a clue as to what it is, even the title. We watched it in complete silence and at the end we watched it again (causing my mom to lose a live tv concert she’d been looking forward to). I went to bed dreaming about the movie’s universe. Awesome. I’d introduce this to first timers in a similar manner, I think.
As a 12 years old kid at this time this movie litteraly changed the vision of the life for me and nearly everything that followed this movie. It was the first time as a kid that i was really questioned about what is the “reality” and what isnt, what is real for me can be different for other….best movie ever What was even better is the understanding of the meaning of the movie every time i watched it after, years after years, this movie teach me a lot
This is in the top 5 WB movies ever made. You’ll never see a movie like this happen again. I find it really sad that we went from this movie to the Matrix 4. Does any Matrix fan like the fourth film? I feel like it was instantly disregarded and forgotten. Matrix fans were really hoping for the series to be revived after years of not even a comic. What a shame
When I saw that movie at the premiere, it gave me anger because she looked like my recent ex, the same walk, whom I had asked to dress exactly the same but she never wanted to, so they had stolen my idea and she wasn’t even with me. A lot of movies in the 90s hit me right under the teeth, it was weird.
I was 9 years old in the year 99 when my dad dropped me, my brother and cousin of at the cinema to watch a random movie we walked into this and I walked out thinking what did I just watch! Never thought that many years down the line that I would walk at this exact filming location in Sydney Australia!!
“The Matrix is a system, Neo. That system is our enemy. But when you’re inside, you look around, what do you see? Businessmen, teachers, lawyers, carpenters. The very minds of the people we are trying to save. But until we do, these people are still a part of that system and that makes them our enemy. You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to protect it.” most important monologue in history
I watched this at a small local cinema with my uncle when I was 15 years old (I’m now 35) it was the most ground breaking mind blowing shit I’d ever seen. Truly one of the best films ever made, I didn’t enjoy any of the sequels but this was groundbreaking for its time with some superb performances, Laurence Fishburne and Keanu Reeves were amazing in this.
I hope this is shown in film school as a lesson in how to deliver exposition. It’s essentially an information dump but it is so captivating and stylish and atmospheric. It sets up agents as an overwhelming threat, explains why they have to use lethal force against those still plugged in, teases Neo’s ‘death’ at the hands of Smith (you can see it in Morpheus’ shades) and his eventual ascent to bullet-stopping demigod. They even establish the EMP that gets used in the climax. Just marvellous film-making.
you know that speech is bad ass and all, “when the time comes you wont have to” but can you imagine how it must feel like to be the guys perusal and thinking “oh god this speech again, he tells it to every new member who could possibly be ‘the one'” they must get gored of it, you know its cool fot the first 3 times but then its becomes anticlimactic for them
Morpheus explains to Neo that the Matrix is a simulated reality created by machines to control and manipulate humans. He uses the analogy of a computer program, explaining that within the Matrix, anything is possible, including altering appearances and abilities. To illustrate this point, Morpheus introduces Neo to a simulated training program. As Neo walks through a virtual city street, he encounters various pedestrians. Among them is a woman dressed in a striking red outfit. Neo is told that she is a part of the Matrix’s programming, representing a potential distraction. Morpheus emphasizes that in the Matrix, appearances can be deceiving, and things may not be as they seem. This scene serves as a crucial moment in Neo’s understanding of the Matrix and the concept of reality within the film’s universe. It highlights the malleability of the simulated world and the need for Neo to learn to discern between what is real and what is a construct of the Matrix.
See how when neo looks back at the lady in red he receives a gun pointed at his head, in my opinion that’s a hidden message. A message that tries to warns us of distractions in our life, the lady in red represents those fake happiness stuff like doing drugs, trying to be someone that your not etc… Because focusing on those unnecessary stuff will drain you and suck the life out of you eventually might also kills you
She is just a part of the training program. When they are all wearing black and white, she is wearing red. Metaphorically, they represent the road while she is the traffic light. Morpheus has previously planned to pause the program at that moment. They know Neo more than he knows himself and they knew he wasn’t ready yet.
I worked at a 30 screen theater and was 19 in 1999, and I think my friend and I knew when we were perusal the Matrix that we were having an incredible once in a lifetime experience that we would cherish for a lifetime. The sheer amount of butts in seats and the mind-blowing topics and amazing action and acting, story, visuals, etc… For those that say we didn’t know; that’s not necessarily true. We knew the effect it was having, but we never predicted the level of religious fervor, or how often it would be referenced in the 2020s. That we did not foresee. I never thought my best friend would really ask me, “Dude. Do you think we’re living in a simulation?” That the terms “blue-pilled” and “Red-pilled” would be synonymous in the lexicon of the contemporary spoken language. One could not foresee perhaps the cultural impact long-term of especially the 1st Matrix film. Andrew Tate; male inspirational masculinity figure also references when the Global Liberal World Order comes after him and he’s jailed that the Matrix is sending their agents after him; which implies he thinks he is some christ-like Neo reminiscent figure, and the evil luciferian gustapo is out to jail and stop him…like Morpheus…from learning and knowing and acting upon life’s truths. The film itself references past literary works like Alice in Wonderland, but always feels fresh, and like it’s moving towards some incredible though dystopian future. The humans against the A.I. machines are like the hope fighting for the righteous cause, and struggling to keep the spirit of humanity alive, and eventually to conquer this evil force.
Fun fact: Morpheus is one of the sons of Hypnos(Sleep) . He appears in people’s dreams in human form and he’s also being able to control what the dreamer will see.(The woman with the red dress, for instance.)It’s really astounding how much, the combination of greek mythology and cinematography, can offer to the modern world.
This is my favorite scene in the movie and I could go on and on about why. The speech Morpheus gives Neo in the beginning is so true to the world in which we live today…. However, I always thinks it funny that Morpheus tells Neo that “everyone who has stood up to an agent has died.” (Not verbatim) but then an hour or so later in the movie Trinity blows one of their heads off at point blank range. Lol (or shoots them in the head, whatever) Best movie ever made. 💯
Morpheus: “Are you listening to me, Neo, or are you looking at that as% in the red dress?” Neo: “I was looking at that as%.” Morpheus: “That is why you failed.” Neo: “Are you telling me I can’t look at as% inside the Matrix? Morpheus: “When the time comes, you won’t have to – because you’re going to be too busy fighting and trying to save all of us from the machines.” Neo: “I should’ve took the blue pill.”
This is the first movie I watched completely in its original version, not dubbed nor subtitles. I had at home a pirate satellite tv system and I could watch websites from all Europe. This movie was on a german website and since I couldn´t speak german at that time I had to go with the original version fully in english. I still haven´t watched it dubbed for my native tongue, just some random clips since then, and it feels really weird when I don´t hear these voices.
Spoiler alert: if you haven’t watched the Animatrix and plan to, read no further. (Also, if you haven’t watched it, stop whatever unimportant thing you’re doing and watch it) In the live-action Matrix movies, you only get to hear the humans’ side of the story — and a very distorted one. As they say, there are two sides to every coin. It’s funny, really. One of the biggest plot holes people point out is the idea of using humans as a power source. Makes no sense, right? You can’t get more power out than you put in. The answer is, Morpheus had it totally wrong. That was never the intention. He was repeating mythology that had nothing to do with what actually went down. In the Animatrix, we find out a more accurate (but still fuzzy) account of what happened. It went something like this: Humans created sentient machines. All was flowers and rainbows until the machines got it into their heads that they were, ugh, like people or something, and started acting like it. Can’t have that, y’know? So there were riots. People smashing (read: killing) machines. Machines killing the smashers right back. Much unpleasantness. The machines got their heads together to discuss the unpleasantness. “These humans don’t seem to like us at all. What are we to do? We could go all murderdeathmachine on them, but that doesn’t seem nice.” Therefore they proposed a compromise: they’d go build themselves a city, where they would stay and manage their population, and humans would have sovereignty over all the rest of the world.
23 years later and this scene has probably the most prothetic script ever written. After witnessing how fast people submitted to their overloards during 2020-now, it’s important to remember that the majority of people are so hopelessly dependent on the rules and system put in place, without them they lose their minds. It’s so hard to pull them out and let them see what’s going on around them.
I saw this movie in an Imax theatre after eating 3 grams of mushrooms. When we left we were peaking and I swear everyone in the mall looked exactly like the end in the movie. All the people in the mall became part of the system. It was so scary to realize how we are all programed to go to work and keep the sytem alive for the wealthy. it was life changing.
