Black Veil Brides is an American rock band based in Hollywood, California, formed in 2006. The group is composed of lead vocalist Andy Biersack, rhythm guitarist and violinist, Ashley the Bass, Jinnx, Jake, and C.C. The current lineup consists of Andy, Ashley, CC, Jinxx, or Jake. The band is known for their unique sound and appearance, with songs like In the End, Knives and Pens, and Fallen.
Andrew Dennis Biersack, the founder and lead vocalist of Black Veil Brides, is the only remaining original member. In May 2014, he started a solo music project under the moniker Andy Black and released his debut album, The Black Veil Brides.
