Awww Joey was really sweet to her while she was ending things with him. I’ve liked him all season but wasn’t sure how to feel about him being Bachelor(which was pretty obviously going to happen), but with how he was this whole episode I think he’ll do great. He seems sweet and fun and kind and has emotional maturity as well. I’m happy for Charity & Dotun!!! Dotun has been my favorite since the second episode or so, he seems like such a great guy. I’ve read in other article threads people saying DWTS should stop asking bachelor and bachelorette contestants to be on the show. But they are two pretty big shows that are on the same network, nothing makes more sense lol. I wish charity and dotun the best and I really hope they can manage their relationship ❤️
The “not date card” reminds me of something they used to do on the German Bachelor: every once in a while, a contestant would get a white rose instead of a red one which allowed them to “steal a date.” A.k.a., if someone else gets a one-on-one, they get to show up instead of the actual invitee. This was eventually dropped because it just didn’t lead to the promised drama (all contestants knew that the white rose would be exchanged for the next one-on-one and no one got their hopes up). But… Kind of wondering if this card is that?
Good final 2. The producers really change because Joey had the bachelor edit for a while and they didn’t do anything bad for Dotun so it is a good thing for the franchise. I don’t understand why and Joey was on the couch they didn’t announce he will be the bachelor. Come on they were so respectful after a big breakup than Charity and joey knew he would be the bachelor. Why waste their time. Charity could wish him good luck and after we move on on the proposal. But anyways, it was a short but good season.
Ok question for you fellow fans… like many of you, I don’t watch the episodes live, but rather the next day on Hulu, when they are available. But the day after the finale, the bachelorette Facebook page posted a picture of Joey and charity that said “meet the Lawsons”… so the entire episode I thought that it had been ruined for me, and she would end up with Joey… So I was intensely confused the entire time lol… did this happen to anyone else? And why did they post that?
I really don’t think that DWTS will hurt them. Nayte & Michelle were never going to work out. Nayte was an insecure bully and it was never going to work between them. Nobody thought Gabby & Erich were going to work. Gabby is so much happier & stronger now in her new relationship. Dotun & Charity are both so much more confident & secure in themselves. This isn’t the death sentence people are acting like it is.
if I had to take a guess what could be in the envelope they gave Lea it would be this: if they really want to “change things up” for the season, they wouldn’t have something like “immunity for night one” or “extra time with Joey” those aren’t game changers. in fact, I think it could actually be something negative. not essentially for Lea, but something that can send someone else home. what if that could mean like giving her the ability to eliminate someone on night one. who could that be might you ask? well, if she was given the power to get rid of someone, it would be a person who she feels isn’t there for the right reasons or an early “villain” of the show, aka the person that steals the lead more than once throughout the night. it could also be like taking away someone’s rose for that very reason. I mean, who knows, but that’s my guess. would be interesting to see how it all plays out
Nobody is surprised we knew joey was going to the bachelor from the first moment he so clearly getting the bachelor edit! Love Joey though so I’m very happy with their decision he will a great lead definitely think his season will be another pilot Pete season an easily overwhelmed people pleaser and a bunch of women who will run over him should be entertaining I don’t think he’s going to find love though.

So how is it ok for Charity to say I love you and give tons of reassurance to Joey, up to the very end, and no one calls her out on it? She’s a great woman and acted mature and classy during her season, but that is still not an ok thing to do. Particularly that it’s pretty obvious she knew deep down her choice was Dottun for a while now, and her reaction to her family’s opinion of Joey only brought her true feelings to the light. Clayton did pretty much the same thing, just more clumsily, and I’m still not ok with the lead telling someone they love them, to not only let them go the next day, BUT ALSO get engaged to someone else at the same time.
In my opinion she just be kissing men just to kiss them with no meaning behind them like he got sent home for a reason. Also he’s a hypocrite because he did the same thing Brayden did. The only difference is Brayden decided to go home because people were saying they would murder him in the house and he said he felt uncomfortable. But Aaron ugly ass got sent home like he needed too. All he cared about was Brayden that’s why it never ever would work I barely seen him just talk to charity about anything else but other men. And I am completely in love with Joey like he’s the perfect one. Also I think Duton is a red flag because he’s supposed to be seen as “perfect” like he didn’t do anything wrong this wholeee time family said nothing concerning like he don’t have no flaws. I am Italian so for the love….why pick Joey. There are hella ton of hot, crazy, fun, interesting, fun, stylish, tall, guys. Also, anyone reading this from the production: Why was EVERYONE on the tell all but Warwick? Even the guy voted off the first night was there. Additionally, Warwick was presented as such a boring awful date. I am not saying he necessarily isn’t but it seemed very very edited NOT in his favor. Do better.
I just caught up on the last 4 episodes….I thought it was incredibly CRUEL Charity put Joey through that!!! He was about to get on one knee!!! She left him feeling he was the one. It was obvious she was heads over heels with him for weeks, even her mother saw it. She should have NEVER put anyone through that, let alone an empath like Joey. I was shocked. Not a fan.
