I remember in episode 1 noticing there were many Asian women at the beginning and I was excited to see more Asian womens’ stories in reality tv. I just assumed they didn’t find anyone in the pods, so it kinda sucks to see that literally all 3 cut couples were with an Asian woman. 🙁 It confuses me how little Asian representation we get in American reality tv, including LiB and the Bachelor franchise.
Josh and Jackie could have chosen each other first and saved us all the drama. I also don’t like the fact that there were 3 other couples that got virtually no air time. Makes more sense when you hear Chelsea’s comment about how production was trying to “push a narrative” with respect to her relationship with Kwame. So it seems that people not only have to fall in love and blindly get engaged, but they also have to be interesting (or whatever) enough to send on the trip afterwards and continue to be filmed. Not cool. It’s still better than what Bachelor has done to their franchise, but still, not cool to give only 10 people air time and virtually ignore the rest.

Just got done perusal season 4 after the altar and obviously we don’t know the full story between Monica and Josh because it wasn’t shown.. I personally haven’t seen any posts from Monica, but going off of what was said in the episode I am leaning more to Monica’s side. I mean, like she sent what she was going to post to Jackie, Jackie seemed okay with it. Josh says he loves Jackie and is happy with her so he shouldn’t be bothered by it. Monica has every right to share her experience online just the same as everyone else. Also, one thing that he said at least twice to Jackie that bothered me was “if you keep acting right this could all be yours” like… He seems like the controlling type. What does he mean if she keeps acting right? Then again, I guess she just likes toxic men that treat her like garbage. They really are the perfect match.
