I love Claudia and I love Funky. And I loved them together and I will have to accept loving them apart. I wish them success with their endeavors moving forward and will continue to support both of them. But I must admit this is really a sad nightmare that came so unexpected 😔💔 The opposite of love is not hate, it’s indifference. I feel that the charged emotions on both sides is coming from a lot of hurt. Being vulnerable is looked on as weakness. So it’s a lot easier to lash out at the ones we love. My OPINION on why Funky left the show wasn’t because of the pay, it was because as he’s stated many times before… that he was “a white lady of leisure” and I believe that since the show was blowing up and there was the possibility of it going in the studio, he didn’t want to be obligated to doing the show five days a week. And he obviously didn’t need the money. He left many bread crumbs that hinted he didn’t want to do a full time gig. He cowered out and using the money as an excuse to back out. I could feel the tension. I like both of them but I got the sense that Funky was over being on TGIF and he really didn’t want to be there. Then a couple weeks before the ish hit the fan he started putting out articles on his Youtube the afternoon before TGIF aired in the evening. He would talk about the very same hot topics they would discuss on the show. In the back of my head I thought that was shady. Now I’m thinking that was the problem in addition to him wanting more money.
I knew once it switched to 5 days a week Funky wasn’t going to be able to handle it. He said it out his own mouth. What I don’t understand is why they all didn’t sign the same contract. I called it from the very beginning. Funky is messy messy messy… it was only a matter of time! He’s loves and live for drama. I’m surprised it lasted this long to be honest. Funky is arrogant and talks too much. He’s a fool for walking away from a part-time job that pays 250k a year. He said he earned that money working one and half hours per day. If that’s all he had to do why didn’t he use the other time in the day to build his own website? Now he’s trying to compete with the show in an effort to take it down. Wow! I loved the original trio and was saddened when Funky abruptly left. We knew Funky could be messy but we loved him anyway. It’s understood that people grow apart. Sometimes you cannot carry everyone with you through the journey. I like the dynamic of all three of you, but I understand when emotions get the best of the situation and everything is compounded by continuous talks about the situation and things can get misconstrued, and then they go left.
