When a person rises above all the elements that were a cause of fears and pain and anxiety with such success, it is a high, and a sense of “I can now have the whole candy store” euphoria, it is hard to be genuine to those that suffer from those elements. Not because they dont care, but because theyre nowhere near a bottom to remind them they could be worrying about the bills or keeping their marriage. Im not excusing this nor complaining, but I myself cant trust someone that wants to help me without a motivation that will further their mission .At the same time ive come to understand that I can applaud someones status rather than assume they didnt deserve it.
