You know what when I had that gastric bypass surgery my doctor told me that weight loss surgery causes alot of divorces .I was much younger I just couldn’t believe that .It was true …me any husband would argue alot things where a lot different.A classmate of mine had that same surgery she and her husband got a divorce..she later died from something different though it was really strange.

As someone who has been perusal the last few seasons of their show lately and seeing the assumptions people make in these comments here, it’s unfortunate to see so many people in one place that have this mindset. Mind you, it’s very apparent and I understand all these people haven’t watched the show in years, but the confidence in the ” how selfish, you only have 1 dad, talk to him” statements is wiiiild. Perhaps the kind of people who make bold opinions of something they don’t know about/understand, and the outdated idea that our parents are equal to god, that them being your parents overrides horrible treatment or trauma they may cause. It’s over. We all need to understand that birth and (possibly) providing the things you should provide to a child you created, doesn’t permit you to be a negative, unhealthy figure in their life. No matter who someone is, you have the right and the choice to separate yourself from a person who doesn’t value you and make you feel safe. Sugarbear had issues even before his last wife Jennifer. But he continued to have more after, and he let that spiteful, hateful women treat his daughter, her siblings, and their mother like trash, oftentimes to their face. He showed that he didn’t care enough to engage and fight for his relationships. And he let his wife say horrible things, make petty choices, and treat those kids (who were actively going through the hardest time in their lives) horribly. In arguments they have had on screen, in the past, the girls would stand up for themselves and all Jennifer focuses on is trying to steam-roll them.
Alana just needs some one on one time with her father. Like a date night as I like to call it. My father asked me to go out to dinner one time when I was probably around 24 or 25, I was in my 20’s. He’s never done that before and the whole meal I was waiting for him to tell me that he’s leaving my mom or getting a divorce or something! Never happened! But it would have been nice if we coulda/woulda have been able to go out to dinner every once in a while after that one time.
