Is Deadly Honeymoon based on a true story?
This movie is based on a true story from 2005. The husband’s disappearance was never solved. The movie only guesses what happened. A couple gets married in Hawaii and goes on a honeymoon cruise. Things go wrong. Why do they keep putting the FBI agent in the same halter top? Is this all a female FBI agent wears on vacation? Probably not. The captain wouldn’t forget in an Oscar situation. You must stop, search, and turn around. Passengers are told of the change in plans. But Lifetime didn’t get the message. They blame the missing person on some annoying Europeans, and then the Europeans blame the wife. Then the FBI agent shows up at the crime scene in a dress and heels during the day. Another thing I don’t like is that the couple was together for three years, but later the wife says, “Is this how it’s going to be the rest of our lives?” He’s drinking vodka from a bottle. Is this surprising her? The main characters are just as bad as the Hungarian scapegoats. It has its moments if you don’t mind the details. If you like dinner murder mysteries, you’ll love this. Synopsis: Trevor and Lyndsey Forrest, a wealthy couple take a honeymoon cruise in Tahiti, but the husband disappears without …
Jennifer Hagel never gave the impression that she was devastated or even upset by the death of her husband. She passes out in the hallway like a bum on a street corner? What’s up with that? The whole case always seemed fishy to me. She collected her million dollars and moved on pretty quickly for someone who was supposed to be in love. I feel so sorry for the family.
8/18/19…..10 yr old case + this article is 4-5 yrs old…..So 26 yr old man would now be 40! Time goes on but NOT FOR GEORGE’S FAMILY + FRIENDS. 1st I thought bride was fussing with the groom/George….maybe b/c he was gambling/spending time with his NEW 4 Russian friends. There was speculation that bride was “flirting” & “carrying on” with the 4 Russian guys to make George jealous. Then retired LA police/detective who was on the cruise with his wife—in the cabin nextdoor said he heard lots of noise/figjting/shouting/furniture being moved @ 3am & it was so BAD that it woke him up. Now THIS is a retired LA policeman—so I would imagine he knows what he’s talking about! Then bride is found “passed out” in hallway—with little to no clothing & completely “roughed up”. Then turns out all the money George won gambling is misding. AND there is George’s BLOOD @ his cabin’s balcony door + on the balcony + on the awning/canopy of the cabin immediately below/ on the next lower floor. And it seems the bride WASN’T too concerned b/c she supposedly went to the spa the next a.m. PLUS the bride supposedly had a $1 million insurance policy on “good old missing groom” George. NOT TO MENTION the cruise line supposedly QUICKLY “settled” the case/claim by giving her $1 million! And SUPPOSEDLY the “not grieving too much” bride was remarried within 1 yr—SUPPOSEDLY AFTER her cruise line settlement + NOT TESTIFYING/PUSHING for info about “dear departed” late George! TOO MANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS CASE & WE’LL NEVER KNOW THE COMPLETE TRUTH unless somebody is “driven to telling the truth” on his/her death bed.
I’ve every reason to believe it was part manslaughter and part conspiracy. George’s wife was indeed in the room when the 4 chaps brought him back. George’s inebriation caused an argument to break up between himself and the 4 chaps over perhaps suspicion of having designs on his wife or his exclusive watch. An altercation then ensued. George was injured in the midst of the fight and knocked out (Blood stains on the bed sheets explained). The 4 chaps then left the room. His wife, possibly overtaken by greed to claim compensation conjured up a plan to throw her hubby overboard as if it was an accidental fall. She struggled to drag, lift and toss him due to his larger physique (That explained the bad throw which caused George to hit the side of the ship and thus his blood stains). Well, her reactions towards his hubby’s disappearance and responses thereafter, with whatever possible means she could deny sent shivers to my spine (Check out her expressions as she spoke for the press). There is a possibility too it’s a conspiracy between herself and the 4 chaps whom she had already knew all along. Hopefully, the parents of George could find the culprits and find justice for their son.
I remember this, where is the article from the cameras in the hall from outside their room, how is there None ??? Also, that would show how long those men (strangers) were there in his room with him. I DEF Don’t believe that wife for a second !!! I’m pretty Sure if I remember correctly that the couple had an argument and I think she asked those guys to keep him away from her !!! Was there life insurance, what’s the deal with that ? Did she collect ??? RIP and God Bless this family, HIS FAMILY !! I THINK IT WAS MURDER TOO !!!! SO VERY SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS, THIS DOES NOT GO OUT TO THAT SO-CALLED WIFE EITHER !!! I COULD NEVER GO ON WITH MY LIFE AND RE MARRY, EVER ESPECIALLY NOT KNOWING WHAT HAPPENED TO MY HUSBAND, UNLESS SHE DIDN’T CARE OR LOVE HIM WHICH OBVIOUSLY SHE DIDN’T !!!
You must be a complete idiot to think that this was an accident, there was definitely foul play involved. The guys drugged him and tried to rob him and to cover their tracks, threw him off the boat and into the ocean, even if a search team was depolyed within short hours into that area, his body would have been consumed by some deep sea creature, tragic
It’s totally beggars belief that his wife was arguing kicking him in the nuts allowed these Russians to bring him to his room after 3=45 she’s of buzzing and continued flirting with other s Why do tht on your honeymoon She definitely was flirty early in the night But she ended up at the other end of the boat I’m on the fence It’s obviously this so called wife I wonder she started the fight flirting around 4 + Other men she allowed these stranger s to bring her husband back to the room Why didn’t she go back. Theirs your answer She definitely knew he be mudered Thts a fact .
