The decision to set up your wedding venue is a crucial aspect of planning and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable event. There are various options available, including hiring a wedding decorator, working with a wedding decorator, and understanding their artistic approach. It’s essential to consider the location of the ceremony/reception, as it may not allow for early setup or storage of items. A wedding decorator can assist with table planning and place names, and can also help with wedding jewelry and accessories.
Another option is to hire a set-up team for wedding decorations, which is ideal for busy brides who want to ensure everything goes smoothly and on time. They can also assist with table plans and place names. Wedding jewelry and accessories should be purchased separately from family heirlooms.
When choosing a wedding decorator, consider the overall aesthetic you want your event to have, whether it’s classic, modern, rustic, or glam. Most wedding planners agree that decor will make up about 6-10% of your overall budget. To avoid overstepping your set budget, make a smart choice and avoid including different elements.
A day-of coordinator is a generalist in the wedding decor industry, responsible for setting up and maintaining the decorations. If you have complicated decorations, hire a day-of coordinator to handle all vendors and decorations for you. Wedding florists are experts in creating beautiful floral arrangements, and they can handle everything from bouquets to centerpieces.
In conclusion, choosing the right wedding decorator is essential for a successful and memorable event. Consider factors such as cost, timeline, and the overall aesthetic of your wedding.
