How long has Queen Latifah been with Eboni?
The couple met in 2009 while on the set of hit show Dancing with the Stars. They made their relationship official in 2013 but have always tried to remain as private as possible. In 2008, Queen Latifah told The New York Times: I dont have a problem discussing the topic of somebody being gay, but I do have a problem discussing my personal life.
You dont get that part of me. Sorry. Were not discussing it in our meetings, I dont feel like I need to share my personal life, and I dont care if people think Im gay or not. Assume whatever you want. You do it anyway.
While Queen Latifah has not publicly talked about her partner, she thanked her during her 2021 acceptance speech for BETs Lifetime Achievement Award. She said: Eboni, my love. Rebel, my love. Peace. Happy Pride! Rebel is the couples child, whom they welcomed in 2019.
The pro dancer was seen with a baby bump in October 2018 and shortly after the couple become proud moms of the baby boy. A source said at the time: Latifah has never been so full of life! Eboni and the baby have given Latifah something very special to live for.
Did Eboni RHONY find her dad?
But my sisters are fantastic ive met them theyre beautiful and my sister celebrated. Um her birthday on pi day oh thats great.
Are Eboni and Sonja friends?
Being the only Black Housewife felt similar to being the only Black woman in various law firms, classrooms and beauty pageants which I frequented prior to my soirée into reality television. RHONY was simply another space that I feel wasnt designed for me or those that looked like me. Not much was new or remarkable about that.
Sonja Morgan was the only cast veteran that verbally and practically expressed the need for the other women to make space for me, and we are still close. In an early episode of the season she said something along the lines of: Us white ladies need to make space for our Black sisters. I appreciated her abundance mindset which allowed her to feel there was enough space—i.e. camera time—to center something other than whiteness.
I planned the eighth episode of the season, which would ultimately be dubbed Harlem Night, spotlighting one of the most storied neighborhoods in America. It was an aesthetically beautiful telecast, with an emphasis on multifaceted glamour and elegance.
The event was hosted at the renowned West Harlem eatery B Squared, owned by a queer Black woman. My castmates and I started off with branded cocktails prepared by a skilled mixologist before feasting on a sumptuous four-course meal.
What happened between Ramona and Eboni?
As reported by VFs Anna Peele, Singer was the subject of multiple complaints for alleged misconduct during her final season of Real Housewives of New York City. After a heated exchange with her then costar Eboni Williams, who was the first Black cast member on RHONY, “Ramona slammed her hands on the table. She goes, ‘This is why we didnt need Black people on the show…. This is gonna ruin our show,” according to someone who was present for the scene. Singer emailed VF this “absolutely” did not happen. “In fact, I supported adding diverse cast members well before before sic Eboni was added.”
That season, Singer also allegedly told a Black woman staffer, “Theres so many of you guys here now, please dont change your hair as Im not gonna be able to remember anybodys names.” Singer says this was typical of her behavior: “It was a sic strictly a commentary on my inability to remember names. … As an example, just last week I saw a photo with me and Travis Kelce from 2016 on Watch What Happens Live and I thought he was Jax Taylor,” she emailed Vanity Fair, referencing a white Vanderpump Rules cast member. According to two people familiar with production, at another point, Singer exclaimed, “Theres so many Black chicks!” (Singer denies saying this, though footage that aired in the season shows her using the phrase “Black chicks.”)
At another point, Singer allegedly told season 13 senior producer Darian Edmondson that an interaction with Williams reminded her of when Jewish colleagues referred to her using a “Catholic slur” when she was a young woman. She says they called her a “shiksa,” a Yiddish term for a non-Jewish woman. Edmondson says she replied by saying, “Ramona, I have no idea what youre talking about,” to which Singer said, “Oh, its literally like somebody calling you a n-gger.” (Singer says she “never” said the N-word and that this account is a “misrepresentation.” “I did describe an incident where I was called a shiksa while working in college,” she wrote to VF, “but I did not compare the the sic two experiences.”)
Was Eboni fired from RHONY?
My legacy of being on the show. I think my time on RHONY eventually went past disruption and became an active protest. Ultimately, my contract was not renewed for the next season of RHONY, but I believe I was the most impactful one-season Housewife in Bravo history. Im proud of my actions.
In the reality TV sphere, there has been progress, such as the nuanced diversity of the cast of The Real Housewives of Potomac and The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, or the show Married to Medicine. As with any reality show, one could critique certain aspects of these series, but I think the premise of each of them is revolutionary and freeing.
I am now set to host a new show, Equal Justice with Judge Eboni K. Williams. I think this show is a natural evolution of my multi-platform work of advancing liberation, equality and justice for all. My time on RHONY may have helped this happen—but maybe not. I know my stellar career in news and television hosting didnt hurt either.
Does Eboni talk to anyone from RHONY?
As the first black woman on the New York franchise. I have more education practice than anybody at this table dont come into my house and tell me I dont have an education but after a rocky drama.

📹 Eboni K. Williams Broke Up With Her Fiancé Because He Quarantined With His Kids
The Breakfast Club features celebrity interviews, Charlamagne tha God’s Donkey of the Day, Angela Yee’s Rumor Reports, …
Dating someone with kids is extremely hard at times but if it’s not for you, it’s not for you.. My man has kids that live in a different state and I always tell him, if we need to move to be closer to the kids, we have to move. If something happens to the children and he needs to be away, he has to be away. If he wants to leave for a month just to be with his kids, I respect that.. The kids were here way before me and him were together. They will ALWAYS be the main priority in his life!
She’s crazy. If this were the other way round people would be calling him all sorts of derogatory terms. Those are his kids, and she will never be number 1 unless she wants to come between him and his kids. Don’t date people with kids if you want to be number 1. You cannot, should not want to, and are most definitely an a-hole if you demand otherwise.
Let’s keep it a stack. She didn’t like dude that much. 4 years and not married yet. That quarantining with the kids move was the last straw of a bunch things she found unattractive about dude and she jumped ship with this opportunity that came up. Also dude might have seen this as a chance to escape the situation he was in with Eboni and be with his flesh and blood during a crazy time. You don’t break up with someone for putting their kids first smh.
Yee says Eboni was still working at the time. That’s important because he may have seen her movements as reckless or concerning given his knowledge of virus. If she still working isn’t it impossible to quarantine with her. And isn’t his helalth put at risk if he chooses to isolate and she doesn’t. A lot of moving pieces to make this scenario clear
That was a trying time and I was alone BUT I have children who were home schooling my grandchildren and it was a mess. Each family situation is different and that was a very traumatic experience for everyone. Did Mr. Eboni offer any assistance for your man? Make sure they had what they needed? Support could have been given from afar. THE RISK WAS to high of passing the virus. Be thankful and blessed we’ve made it through!
You ladies are truly a piece of work. I put my daughter 1st before EVERYTHING. I would only that you ladies would have put your kids first in this situation. I don’t want to be with ANYONE who doesn’t understand that kids are actually a priority. It was a PANDEMIC,where no one knew the outcome of it. Now to the guys. Some of you don’t make your kids a priority on even a good day.
Sorry ya’ll. I’m quarantining with my children. My mom always says that unless you’re married, you’re single… I think this is a prime example of that. No way I choose a glorified boyfriend (fiancé) over my kids in a pandemic. I think it could be a different story if the kids were living with their mom. BUT, I can’t think of a single friend or family member who wouldn’t put their kids first in a situation like this.
I applaud him for wanting to be with his kids, it’s refreshing to hear. Idk her thought process, but I’ll give her a lil kudos on ending it. It seems like she finally came to an epiphany that his children could be prioritized over her. She mentioned they were grown and Idk what she considers grown, but regardless of age his children are always gunna be his CHILDREN. I’m glad that she came to that realization before marriage. The last thing you’d want to see happen is her treating the kids funny.
Those kids are growing up and starting their own families. Your fiancee/wife is your better half, will be with u when the kids leave. I’m quarantining with my wife. My wife is #1. Those kids if they were young, the mother is there as well (So, he left his fiancee/wife to be with his baby’s mother and kids). If they are older kids and live on their own, how much help from me is required? Ideally I would want all of us together, if that’s not possible, I’m choosing my wife everytime. God is first over all. On this planet, my wife is number 1, every time, no questions ask.
And this is exactly why i never got serious with a guy who already had kids. I would never want for him to have to make that decision, because I already know he would choose the kids, I would expect that. I don’t have kids and that’s why I married a man that also didn’t have kids. She needs to choose a man that is childless next time, so she won’t have to go through that.
I would have to know what the exact conversation was. Did he ask her to come with him? Did he try to compromise? She said the kids were young adults, how old? A lot of times we will jump on the first thing someone says without hearing both sides. Like a lot of people have said, if the rolls were reverse there would be no question of if the parent should quarantine with the kids.
That was his way of getting rid of her. She was still working and being exposed so I can see why she wouldn’t included. Also the kids may have come to his home in NJ to stay with him. Given that everyone was terrified about what was going to happen I can see him wanting to be close to where his children to provide the best security for them and even the mom if she was there. Co-parenting is for life.
That man was just looking for an excuse to be with over there with the ex. If it was about his children they could have come to his home. So i totally understand and agree with Eboni because it couldn’t be me either. All of his things would be nicely packed so he could move in with them permanently. If they’re that important to you (and Im not) make your choice but you will not have your cake and eat it too.
This is why having kids without either being married or in a long-term relationship is dangerous. Dating while being a single mother or father is very hard. It’s always going to be a struggle to find someone who can accept your kids and understand that your kids are the priority and not them. Dude dodged a major bullet with this lady leaving him because from the looks of things she’s a very selfish person.
She would not break up with him over going to stay with his kids she broke up with that man because there’s more to it she’s not going to put her business out there and embarrass herself she should respect that he chose the kids but for her to break up with him that means something happened with him in the EX point blank.! Don’t @ me cuz idc bout your opinion 😂😂😂😂🔮
Eboni K. Williams did not specify whether he was with his kids’ mother not, yet, some women assumed that was the case. It’s sad to know how insecure and selfish a lotta women think especially during a time like the pandemic. If I had to choose between my fiancé and my son, I’m not choosing my fiancé. If she’s quick to assume I’m with my son’s mother and unwilling to trust me, she’s a dub (some men have self-control, for the record.) That can make and break a relationship. A selfish heart is a toxic heart, especially when it comes to kids.
She has the right to what she wants!!!! She didn’t prevent him from quarantining with his kids. She also realized that at this point in her life, she needs to be first. Nothing is wrong with that. All the false equivalencies and talk about outrage if a man said it is absolutely unnecessary!! Both men and women should be able to say what they want in a relationship without the rest of us getting vex about it!!
Our children will always be our children, grown or not, he did the right thing, especially in light of this pandemic, but in my experience men tend to put whatever they value before their women, but always want to be number one in his woman’s life. I feel anyone man or woman should only make themselves available to the other party as the other party is to them.
