Why is Gone Girl R?

Gone Girl is about Nick, a man blamed for his wife’s disappearance. The film includes mature and graphic content, including sex scenes, violence, language, and depictions of rape. Violence is mild until the end of the film. When the film ends, there is a scene of bloody violence and disturbing scenes. A man throws his wife onto the floor. A woman hits her in the face with a hammer. A woman dries blood from her arm and then smears it on the floor to stage a murder. A woman rubs wine on her panties to make them look like they were stained by rape. She crawls on the floor and screams to make it look like she’s in pain. Then, she puts a wine bottle in her vagina to make it look like she was raped. During rough sex, a woman slashes a man’s throat with a box cutter. His throat is cut open and blood pours out. The woman and the man are covered in blood as blood sprays from the man’s open neck. The scene is bloody. Blood is everywhere. The man’s neck is shown with a huge tear in the middle after he dies. The woman who killed him is shown soaked in blood for a long time afterwards. She is questioned by police, walks through her driveway, and washes all of it off in the shower. A man grabs a woman’s head and slams it against the wall while calling her a “cunt.” SEVERAL uses of “fck,” “cnt,” “sht,” “btch,” “pssy,” and other profanity. SEXUAL CONTENT: The film has five sex scenes and many other scenes of sexual content. A man is shown giving a woman oral sex. He licks her genitals as she moans on the bed. His head is shown between her legs as he lifts her underwear. No nudity is shown, and the scene is brief. A man and a woman have sex against a table. The man and woman have sex on the couch. Police come to the Dunnes’ Missouri subdivision to help find Amy, but everyone is watching Nick, who hasn’t been a good husband. But Amy isn’t always a perfect wife. Nick has his sister Margo on his side and hires a lawyer, Tyler Perry, who has defended many people. Everyone wants to know: Where is Amy? David Fincher’s direction makes the transition from noir to psychological thriller easy. It’s a creepy, unsettling ride that tests audiences’ loyalties and makes them uneasy. The book asks good questions about relationships. The movie is more sensational. It’s violent, but not gratuitous. One scene is particularly disturbing, but it’s necessary to show what humans are capable of.

Can a 14 year old read Gone Girl?

Human nature on the other hand, is disturbing. Physical, sexual and emotional assault are all referenced to varying extent (no spoilers). Id advise you read and re-read the novel yourself, then go based on your own discretion based on personal knowledge of the young adult.

Personally, Id advise 16 as a good starting point for age negotiations, but it really would have to come down to what you feel is appropriate for an individual.

I think it really depends on the teenager and what the parents want their kid to be influenced by. My parents are quite liberal and have pretty much let me read or watch anything I like. And there have been times when I had to put down a book because I found it too mature or not suitable for my age.

I dont think theres a straight yes/no answer, it will depend on the individual (there are adults I wouldnt recommend it too). But I do think that if the teen and parent have both read the book it would make a great discussion piece – domestic violence, abusive relationships, honest/true people, fakers, victim blaming, etc.

Why is married to it rated R?

Content: -3 Excessive sex, violence, and/or worldview problems. In Married to It, three married couples with different lifestyles find their lives intertwined through their children attending the same school. Each couple faces a marital crisis and seeks a solution. The worldly and tiresome Married to It has a thin plot and a preoccupation with sex. One character takes a stand for monogamy and faithfulness when her girlfriends gossip about their former lovers.

Content: (LLL, SSS, NN, A, B) 54 obscenities, 8 profanities, & constant references to body parts & sexual intercourse. I do my best work in the boardroom and in the bedroom. There’s a shower scene with intercourse and a bedroom scene with graphic sexual intercourse. There’s also upper male and female nudity and eye-popping cleavage. There are references to marijuana use, 13-year-olds getting drunk, heavy alcohol consumption, and the taste of white wine likened to urine. However, one character, Nina, takes a stand for monogamy and faithfulness when her girlfriends gossip about their former lovers. Three New York couples learn that love conquers all in Married to It. John and Iris Morgan (Beau Bridges and Stockard Channing) want to feel the passion they had in the 60s when they met in jail during a Vietnam war protest. Also, Leo Rothenberg (Ron Silver) is a wealthy toy maker who is torn between his 13-year-old daughter, Lucy, and his second wife, Clara (Cybill Shepherd). Chuck and Nina Bishop are a couple who keep traditional values, but their marriage is dull. John and Iris try to make love again, but their kids are banging on the door. The couples go to a 60s musical starring Lucy and everything works out. Nina talks about monogamy, while her friends talk about their exes. Nina’s wholesomeness is tainted when she uses bad language while arguing with Chuck.

Is shotgun wedding gory?

It is a homemade movie, that style of movie, high quality b movie but wait, it is more polished than most so, not a lot of shakey camera work, its low budget, and i did not expect much, but for me, it took off in the first ten mins.there is some blood and gore, but not really in a scary way, all the gore is accompanied by lots of humor. not a scary movie at all… just a good comedy.

Good humor, likable cast, well shot, and, OK, well written, This movie is what i think of when i think of weddings, call me a commit-o-phobe, but my dad said, death is just a hop, skip and a jump from marriage.

I am giving it a six out of ten – I love the magic in the air line…. i would probably re watch this one, so….stamp give it a watch if you were thinking about it.
