📹 Hallmark Christmas Movie | Favourites! | Will You Merry ME & A Very Merry Daughter of the Bride
Hi there! Welcome to my channel! This is the Hallmark Christmas movie review series. Today we’re reviewing our all time …
It just makes me really sad. I know none of us are going to live forever but it’s hard to see the faces of the people that you grew up with just fade into the nothing. You will never grow old. I’ve been dealing with health issues with my own for a long time. I’ve been faced with my mortality for a long time. It’s sad when you see people like this pass away, but I become envious because I wish I had people like that that would miss me so much. I just don’t want to be forgotten.
I’m so glad they didn’t do a continuation of the original, it was iconic in its time and should remain there, and I would much rather Dylan McKay be remembered this way as opposed to a scripted scenario that will never feel satisfying. This tribute was perfect, and appropriate for someone who never seemed to want to make a fuss about himself.
There was something very special about the relationship between Brandon & Dylan. It was such an unlikely friendship, and yet it was so natural. As a young guy, It really got to me, with their different backgrounds, and their complete opposite ways of life. That was what made this show special. It showed us people can be different, but still understand each other. R.I.P Luke
I can’t watch this without crying, we miss you deeply Luke as well as the following who we also sadly lost this year so far: Keith Flint, Rip Torn, Peter Fonda, Jan Michael Vincent, Ken Kercehval, John Singleton, Rutger Hauer & Cameron Boyce. See you all at the Crossroads, gone but Never to be Forgotten 😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😢😢😢😢😢😢😢🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I’m honestly mixed about this tribute, yes it’s heartwarming however imo it’s not long enough and they shouldn’t have left out Shannen Doherty aka Brenda Walsh after all it was Dylan and Brenda way before it was Dylan and Kelly, and to me it’ll always be Dylan and Brenda RIP Luke Perry may you always fly high and free 😢💔 Gone but never forgotten
Luke Perry was an integral part of the cast. There can never be anyone to take his spot. He will always be Dylan McKay. One of my favorite episodes of 90210 was when Dylan’s mom visits Beverly Hills and he gets in a fight at the pool hall. At one moment he turns to Brandon when Brandon says” Dylan come on man how long can you keep doing this” and Dylan’s response was “till i’m numb till i don’t know where i’am”haha. That was some dam good acting in that episode, and jason Priestley’s best acting was in 2 episodes in season 2, “Uphoria” and ” My desperate Valentine” . Dylan and Brandon is the best bromance ever. RIP Luke Perry. Your portrayal of Dylan McKay was heartfelt and passionate. Everyone could relate to Dylan’s problems, or mostly everyone.
Omg I’ve cried a lot during the episode they thought about luke 3 times and this scene made me cry so hard I couldn’t breath it was really sad just to seen the car coming I knew it was him and I started to cry. Even if is gone he still their with the cast with us, it’s amazing to see him on the show hearing is voice and the line was so beautiful they choose a really great moment. I miss him so much he’s our Dylan forever. I’m hurry to see the next episode and I’m sure I’m not finish to cry. RIP Luke Perry ❤🙏
This was the only good part of the reboot. The reboot should have been based around Dylan’s death IMO. That could have been the reason the gang reunited. Like Dylan dies in a surfing accident or something….tragic but doing what he loved. That would be an epic way for him to go. Then the 1st ep or 2 could have been dealing with that and showing flashbacks from the original series of the impact he had on all of their lives. Would have really tugged at the heartstrings and been a nice tribute to the coolest and most complex character on the show. Then the rest of the episodes could have been the group reconnecting and showing where they are in their lives in 2019. Maybe some unfinished business between Kelly and Brandon. It would have been nice to see Priestly and Shannon Doherty interact once again as Brandon and Brenda. We haven’t seen that since season 4 -25years ago. I think most people wanted them to be in character at least not this gimmick.
Show Cancelled; so NO Season 2. I LOVED that they brought the show back but I HATED the whole back and forth between “themselves” and “their characters”. perusal this version of the show was like going back to Peach Pit in hopes of ordering that juicy double cheeseburger with a side of fries and shake to wash it down that you so happily remembered but now instead of getting that you got a cauliflower burger with a side of tofu fries and a shot of grass wheat. Call me crazy but not the same anymore. What led this show to its doom was because they had to be “above” playing their previous characters/roles. They forgot that what we first fell in love with…was with their characters/the roles they played. We were looking forward to seeing those characters again. Word to the wise Hollywood…listen to your fans. They could have had their characters grow up and continued with the show. But trying to do this flip/flop back and forth crap made it all a joke. Also, their tribute to Luke Perry was not what I had expected…thought they could have done it better. All in all, I am happy they tried to bring it back BUT they didn’t use the same recipe…so therefore it wasn’t much liked.
No offense this was not a tribute. He deserved a hell of a lot more then 30 seconds of screen time. His tribute on Riverdale was amazing and he so should have gotten the proper tribute on the this show. The one that made him a household name. It was truly disrespectful. It was a true shame they couldn’t give him more. 💔. Bad form BH90210. Shame, shame on u
