  • Allegedly, from the account of a friend who lived in Kuwait at the time, Nasra’s sister in laws were tormenting her daily before the wedding by constantly sending her articles and pictures of the gold and gifts her husband bought his new wife during the engagement period. I don’t know how accurate this information is but I was also told that the case was prolonged because of what they found on Nasra’s and the sister in laws phones, resulting in imprisonment of the sister in law and the husband for a short while. Another thing which may be inaccurate is, the husband on the wedding day that the mass murders happened took his new wife from the salon she was getting ready in directly to the hotel that they were going to consummate the marriage in after the celebration, without telling her that her mother has just passed away. This is all alleged and could just be rumours but it sheds light on the public perception of the time.

  • as someone who’s born and living in the arabian gulf, this case did not just shake kuwait but the entirety of the gulf. It became so widely known it was the talk of every family across all of the gulf countries. This is the first time i see it covered by any western figure, thank you for doing so and in a respectable manner

  • I remember perusal news coverage of this awful incident. Whilst there was a great deal of sympathy towards the wife, this kind of revenge is never, ever acceptable. Her husband blamed her for their children having severe learning and physical difficulties, without attempting to find out if he had passed on the issues. I’ve had an Islamic staff member who tried for about 5 years to conceive. She was checked, at her own request, and everything was found to be normal. Her husband was furious when she asked him to be checked. He wouldn’t hear of him being the problem. They divorced and she soon remarried and had a child a year later. Her ex remarried and has no children.

  • Nasra was 18 at the time and had TWO children. This means she was a CHILD when she married. Knowing this culture she had NO choice in the marriage (women are treated as property and do not decide when and if they will marry). Her husband was 18 years older than her!! Would you allow your 12 year old daughter to marry a 30 year old man, or 15 year old to marry a 33 year old man????? Nasra’s mental state was most likely as a result of sexual abuse. PS: Strange, NOT ONE mention of the new bride-to-be’s age is mentioned in ANY article.

  • Adrian- I think I speak for everyone perusal when I say that I’m sick of hearing the same cases over and over. Sometimes multiple websites even cover the same case within the same day/ week of each other. I appreciate that you go to all countries and cover cases I’ve never even heard of! Thank you so much!!

  • What a sad case. The cruelty of her husband and new wife’s family, caring for the special needs children with no support, mental health issues… she was desperate and I would feel sorry for her but she let her pain lead her to kill dozens of innocent people. Just a sad case all around. I hope the kids are ok.

  • If you’re looking for some international cases then I’m gonna throw my suggestion in there: Katarzyna Waśniewska’s murder in Sosnowiec, Poland. Full of unexpected developements and wildly publicized. The eyes of every Pole saw how it went from a missing child case to murder. Katarzyna killed her infant daughter Magdalena. It happened in 2012, since I’m Polish I have been there to witness how wild it was. Idk how well known it is outside of Poland so I recommend finding someone to help with translating resources. Have a great day! :>

  • The international stories you are bringing to us are going to rocket this website beyond all the other boring websites churning out over covered, already well known, cliché cases that are equally as tragic, but done with purely views in mind. I feel like your website genuinely is passionate about garnering interest into lesser known cases that deserve the exposure whilst probably being portrayed in the most respectful manner out of all true crime YouTubers.

  • She didn’t even try to kill the person who had wronged her, but decided to kill an unknown number of women and children instead. People who had done absolutely nothing to hurt her. If she had a somewhat rational train of thoughts about revenge at some point, it derailed in the most tragic and spectacular way possible. Please keep these ones coming, Adrian! There is a wealth of bizarre and outside the norm cases in the world that most of us never get to hear about. 👍

  • First time here, but I was impressed! Great storytelling at a fantastic pace, and thank you for not using photos of random people which always looks lazy and suspect, imo. I had heard of this crime only because my son was deployed to Kuwait for a while; he mentioned it to me but I had honestly forgotten about it. Due to the overall quality of your work, I couldn’t wait to subscribe. Hugs from Canada’s Arctic (where it is SNOWING as we speak 😬)❣️❣️🇨🇦

  • This reminds me of a traditional Danish ballad, “Hr. Peders Slegfred” (Sir Peder’s Mistress/common law wife) about a woman who’s husband divorced her and pretends they were never married, that she is only his mistress, for him to marry a new wife. She disguises herself as a servant at the wedding, and when the couple retreats to their marriage bed, she sets fire to the whole celebration, and every guest and the newlyweds die. The husband sees her, and begs her to help him, promising he will help her in the future, and the last lines are these: “Then she answered so loudly that she laughed: “I know so well how you keep your word!” Btw: they are given the names of Hr. Peder (Sir Peter) and Liden Kirsten (maid Kirsten, but lit. ‘small Kirsten’), but these are the two names given to all unmarried couples in Danish ballads. It just means that they are generic/not historical, and not married.

  • I live in the Arabian peninsula and honestly never heard of this case before, I guess I was too young when it made headlines. thank you for covering this case, you did very well explaining the traditions of the country. It would be great if you cover more cases like this, from all over the world. I’m so sorry for the families of the victims, may their hearts find peace.

  • Nothing justifies the loss of innocent lives but it’s worth bearing in mind that Nasar was only 23 years old at the time, looking after two disabled children by herself while her husband was treating her cruelly every day. She suffered physical and mental abuse at the hands of her husband and his relatives on a daily basis. She was mentally broken and emotionally traumatised at the time. The last straw that broke the proverbial camel’s back was being taunted by her husband and his new (younger than Nasar) wife’s family before the wedding. I believe her claim that murder was never her intention, she simply wanted to ruin the celebration by setting a small fire and cause disruption. However, she wasn’t aware that the tent’s material was highly flammable.

  • More international!! I was deployed to Kuwait for seven months and never learned a thing about the place, despite spending a lot of time in Kuwait City and meeting many locals (the mall is UNREAL – lookitup). It would’ve been nice to at least known about this case, or some of the other interesting country facts you presented. Great article! Keep it up!

  • US watcher here and i personally love the international cases! i know i would never have heard of a lot of these otherwise, and i think they lend interesting and unique perspectives. despite the morbid and tragic nature of these dark moments in a place’s history, i think it helps us as people to understand and empathize with each other. in a weird way, it’s like hearing about something (even, again, something as morbid and tragic as this) that occurred where you live, where you consider home, makes people feel heard and seen. all that said, i would also love to see some more obscure US cases from states that haven’t been… for lack of a better word, featured here yet.

  • I really am loving you throwing in some new INTERNATIONAL CRIMES, it gives the rest of us, who don’t know “the little things” & laws of other countries, an in sight on how crimes are handled from all angles around the World, they might seem shorter in your eyes, but we learn quite a bit, which your research shows you go above & beyond for us to understand others cultures. MUCH APPRECIATED 🌏⚖️🇰🇼

  • Love this website. There is the case in the Northern Territory, Australia when Robert Falconio and Joanne Lee’s were travelling through Barrow Creek and were allegedly pulled over on the highway by someone (Bradley John Murdoch was later charged with the crime). Robert Falconio, to my knowledge, has never been seen again or any sign of him.

  • I’m absolutely thrilled with these international cases which I’ve never heard of. I’ve been a true crime fan for over twenty years so all the famous cases are beat to death over and over. I’m fascinated by these cases which are huge in other countries, but which our xenophobic asses have never been exposed to. This case is an excellent example, as I’m sure every person in Kuwait knows this story, while I had never heard of it. Your content is excellent, and I’m 100% here for it.

  • That’s terrifying that one person can wipe out so many lives so quickly and easily. And it’s not like she was some type of trained terrorist or something. She used methods and resources available to any regular person to pull it off. 57 lives gone in a matter of minutes, and so many more injured. May they rest in peace.

  • I feel so bad for the second wife and Nasra’s children. The second wife likely had no idea how Nasra felt and sadly, given issues with women’s rights in the area, I wonder if she even had much of a choice in the situation, and then she loses her mother and sister. And Nasra’s children now are without their mother and main caretaker and likely have to hear about her terrible crime.

  • I really like your style of bringing and sharing stories to YouTube . I usually can’t listen to many doing this because the Host wants to input their opinions and I just want to hear the story like you do ❤ I think doing international stories should be added. I am very interested in different cultures

  • What she did was wrong, but I feel sorry for Nashra the fact that’s she was struggling mentally and no one seemed to care is really upsetting. Imagine being a stay at home mum to two disabled kids and instead of your partner trying to be there for you and help, he decides to bring a next woman into the relationship. I don’t care if polygamy is a part of your culture or religion, if the other person is not comfortable with it then don’t bring someone else into your relationship.

  • There was a shocking case in my area years ago that not many people have covered but it is one that has stuck with us. The case of mabel leyshon, I’d love you to cover it. The killer was someone who went to the same school and year as my partner and it’s a story that will likely shock you as its more gruesome than most I’ve heard on this website. It has some truly unimaginable horrific circumstances that left an entire town scared to walk the streets at night. If you want to look into it, it took place in Llanfair PG Anglesey North Wales.

  • I live in Thailand, there was recently a very notorious case involving a famous singer/ actress dying after a boat ride on the Chao Phraya river in Bangkok, might be worth a look into! Also there was a mass shooting in Nakhom Ratchasima a few years ago that involved a soldier, might also be worth a look.

  • Oh boy.. never thought I’d see a crime from my homecountry covered in here ! What a small world! This blew up in 2009 in kuwait as murder crimes were extremely rare in Kuwait. However, am really impressed by Adrian’s search and coverage of crime around the world… I’m pretty sure no one has ever covered this story before… keep grinding that coffe playa

  • As a European who grew up and lived & loved it in Kuwait, I feel that in a way its’ my second home country, this crime haunted me for months. I got dozens and dozens of calls from friends that day. Utter shock!! Kuwait has never seen a crime like this. Heartbreaking, incredibly cold and truly horrific!!

  • My close friend had lost his mother and 3 sisters in the fire… The story he told me about how he ran to the hospital looking for them bring tears to my eyes. He was only 14, and found one sister still alive badly burned. Her last words before she died was “It is all My fault, I told my mom and sisters to go to the wedding” She later died that day 💔 Thank you for the article, I chose not to sent it to my friend who lost his family….

  • You’re my favorite website Adrian I never heard of this case and in the back of my mind in the beginning I was trying to fit the puzzle pieces of how a female achieved that despicably high body count of 57- not even a machine gun could have that destructive capability you said three minutes and it was all over internal temperatures over 500 degrees bodies burned beyond recognition- the saying “hell hath no fury as to a woman scorned ” – well she certainly unleashed hell on earth there was no chance to escape .

  • i love these international cases! I’m so tired of the same stories being re told by hundreds of people. please please keep up the good work because you are one of the very few who always has a story I’ve never heard of and I’m 52 and have been perusal true crime since i was around 15 so i have heard them all many many times over. thank you for providing such an interesting website. you are very pleasant to listen to and watch and you are doing an amazing job with this website!!!

  • I was going to sympathize with the victims but after hearing that the new bride and her family taunted the first wife I was flabbergasted. they got the fire they stoke, figuratively and literally. rip to the guests. I bet the surviving guests will never go to another wedding, especially when the bride is a second wife.

  • I’m not Arab and would never understand the culture and its laws and although I feel for the families who lost loved ones, I’m not entirely shocked that this tragic incident was not completely but partially instigated by a husband who couldn’t understand, support or be ‘impressed’ by the struggles she was facing. Mental health, patriarchal tendancies, society blame and basic ‘non support’ has driven people to crazy extremes.

  • This is the first time I’ve ever seen my own country on a crime website. I remember this case I was in middle school I think and it was all anyone would talk about (did not help that it took place in the same area I lived in). I remember a couple girls in the school who’s family members have passed away in that fire. Was not a good time as Kuwait usually is not so violent.

  • Any type of content regarding criminality is appreciated Adrian. Regardless of where it comes from. The manner at which you narrate each story is not only captivating, but it serves its purpose around the issue of human life in general. Anything you put out is accepted by me and I’m sure that this is a general sentiment shared by most subscribers of your website. I’m a subscriber from South Africa.

  • I really love seeing unknown cases from around the world and I really like shorter articles. If you want a new case that’s pretty crazy, there was an insane killing spree on a First Nations reservation in Saskatchewan, Canada this month. The instigator was Myles Sanderson and everyone in the province was left shaken. The reserve will need to heal from this for a very long time as 11 people lost their lives and the killer died in police custody under unusual circumstances.

  • definitely dont think she should have gone and murdered 57 people, but i dont understand why no one is mentioning her being married to him at 15. different culture or not, abuse of power happens everywhere and idk why ppl arent bringing up the fact that at 15 you are still a child with a brain thats still developing. again, thats not to justify the murders obviously; not every heartbroken 15 year old girl immediately thinks of MURDER. but this case is just so frustrating for me to listen to. both sides are horrible, idc.

  • Nasra’s story reminds us that two wrongs dont make it right. She was in an abusive relationship with a horrible husband but it doesnt justify killing and maiming all these innocent women and children. Still, the legal process was pretty murky. Her unwillingness to take responsibility for her actions is wrong.

  • Really like everything you do Adrian, cuz they’re cases I’ve never heard of, like the variety! Also, love the bloopers you show at the end, adds some lightheartedness after the sadness of these tragic stories and also gives a glimpse of what you do to prepare, hope you’re getting settled it to your new place, moving is a pain! Thank you.

  • I remember this incident. I was living in Kuwait back then because my father used to work in a company there. I was 17 at the time and I recall how we got shocked when we heard the news. Specially because Kuweit is a very calm quiet country and you don’t often hear about stuff like this there. The biggest shock was the number of innocent victims and the way they died. I couldn’t find any excuses for Nasra because starting a fire is never a game. Arson is considered one of the most dangerous crimes in the world and here in America you can get 20 years in prison just for starting a fire even if it’s in your own property and there’s no casualties. So you can imagine the size of the crime when we talk about a fire that took the lives of 57 people.

  • As someone from kuwait i remember seeing this on the news and papers when i was little it was quite shocking and devastating, seeing your article on this story unlocked memories of mine lol. it was unexpected to see one of my favorite website do a article from my country, it probably took you extra effort of research i appreciate it i didn’t even know the details of the story. i really like the international cases for a change keep it going!

  • I like hearing about international cases as I usually learn something about a different country. I also like the traditional true crime too. Thank you for making articles for us, you’ve got everything down packed like the music, the intro and telling the story at the right pace. I never drift off while listening. And I don’t get super anxious either, as some websites have haunting music or the music is too loud etc. you have done everything perfectly in your articles and it makes it easy to listen to. I always learn something new. I know many cases are sad, it’s good to spread awareness.

  • Hey, Adrian. Excellent article as always, despite the heinous crime of murdering 57 innocent women and children by that one crazy person! Have you thought about D. B. Cooper and doing a article on that elusive mystery of the early 70s? I was in Africa about 5 years ago and one of my fellow American instructors – I am a consultant in security operations but recently am trying to start a new company totally not related to my day job! – so, this fellow instructor, he and I started discussing the Cooper hijacking and how he got away with almost 250,000 USD by jumping out of a plane in the cold, rainy weather…Anyway, not sure if this would be your kind of thing…? Cheers and I am hooked on your articles. You have definitely a way with words and you’re an excellent narrator. AGL, Former Green Beret and ComicsCreator.

  • Many thanks Adrian. The mind boggle at some one who could do this terrible thing. take so many lives . Yet still fight to save their own life. She must have lacked conscience or maybe it was her two remaining children. But as you pointed out she was mentally unstable before this happened. Her husband has to look to his own conscience too, taking a wife at such a young age and not standing by her when she needed his support. but there is a big emphasis on a son in these cultures and the two disabled children might not have reached the criteria of his expectations. Very sad for all concerned.

  • I’m not sure if you’ve covered it but the murder of Jaidyn Leskie is a case here in Australia that is horribly tragic and as far as I know, “unsolved”. Also the disappearance of young teenager, Bung Siriboon while on her way to school is also a good one. I’m really enjoying your international cases, sometimes it’s hard to watch a case that I’ve already seen three other people cover, but I’ll still watch it though.

  • Ya know Adrian, I so just have to say how much I adore your website, and delivery of it. I am so elated I found you ❤ Thank you for a new uplaod especially this one with it being wrapped around mental illness as a lot of us either have it in some way shape or form or know someone that has it. Not to mention @ the beginning of this story the date is my Birthday August 15th, again thank you for all that you do and making me so happy I found your website. Enjoy the rest of your day. Love always from The Bean (Aka) Boston!

  • Im from kuwait and that was a disaster by all meanings .. not quite regular to our country but so sad it happened, god help the poor family who suffer and affected by her brutal crime! the law has changed to stop any kind of similar gruesome act in the future. Thanks for sharing this story pal,i like your website since long time now keep it up!👍🏾

  • This shows how sad it is to be a woman in such countries. Pathetic. What she did is horrible, no doubt but the fact that her husband was ready to get married again leaving her alone to handle the kids when they needed extra care, makes him a horrible Father and Husband. Nothing could justify his actions either.

  • Good morning Adrian and hello from sunny California. Thank you for taking time off from your busy schedule and creating these articles for us. I am intensely enjoying these international cases and can’t wait to see more. As some of your viewers have commented I keep running into the same cases in every true crime website when the location selections are limited. But covering cases around the world are rare and extremely interesting. Please keep them coming. Btw I love the bloopers at the end. I enjoy a bit of chuckles after perusal sad and tragic stories. ❤

  • I don’t understand why y’all be saying she was taunted by the bride’s family. 57 innocent lives were lost but the bride and her husband were unscathed. Nothing justifies killing another for whatever you’re going through worse yet innocent women and children who had nothing to do with the cause of your rage. It’s sad. It’s bad. That’s why I am afraid of people who keep hurt to themselves. Learn to speak up lest the hurt consumes you.

  • It’s so sad to hear this, we believe in Islam that persons born with a disability/ special needs will be granted the VERY best of our afterlife. It’s sad that this husband couldn’t consider his wife’s feelings/ thoughts & the wife’s instability led to such a disaster. (I haven’t watched the full article yet) no hate comments

  • I was given to understand that in Islam that while it is allowed for a man to take up to four wives, he is only allowed to do so if, 1) if he is able to treat and support them equally, and more importantly in this case, 2) if he has the permission of his current wives to do so. Which, given the way the first wife reacted, it seems fairly obvious that it was something that she hadn’t agreed with.

  • Well done to the producers, thank you for covering this case with sensitivity and not passing cultural judgement, but the people in the comments section who are feeling sorry for the killer on account of her husband having taken a 2nd wife have no understanding whatsoever of the culture of the region. Thousands upon thousands of women are in polygamous marriages like this. Yes it hurts when your husband takes another wife but most women either ask for a divorce (islam gives women the right to initiate divorce), or accept the situation and try to make the best of it. Often the women become friends, or at least come to some form of civilised understanding between them about time-sharing etc. Sometimes they even help raise each others kids. Only someone completely deranged or evil would murder innocent people as this brutal killer did. Justice was served in the end with her execution. And if you’re wondering, I’m a woman and am in a polygamous marriage.

  • I’ve recently watched some of Adrian’s cases about sudden mental health crises that lead to unexpected killings (Flight 9525, McSkillet YouTuber). I wonder if something like this could have played a role. I was sad to see that she targeted the women and children rather than the men… considering they’re the ones benefiting from and upholding the misogynistic system she’s trapped within, but I guess internalised misogyny does that to you. I know she did something awful but I think we’d benefit from knowing more about her life and mental health. She was a teenage bride married to an older man, forced to be a housewife, probably forced to do God knows what else, she had to care for disabled children when she was only an adolesfent herseld, and her husband blamed her for their situation and didn’t seem to help or support her in caring for them. He didn’t value her at all and arranged to marry another woman while she would stay indentured to him forever. I can’t imagine what being an actual slave like that could do to a person.

  • Hi there.. Thank you for covering this story, I’m from Kuwait and have witnessed the consequences of her actions. Although I do appreciate you covering the crime story, I would appreciate it if you could be consistent in the pics/videos. Most are of other Middle Eastern countries, the only ones that are legitimate are of the skyscrapers and the lavish roads and the Kuwaiti towers. (It’s easy to find pics/videos of Kuwait in the internet)Thanks again for your time and research into this case 🙏🏻 a night to remember! 💔 many crimes have been committed over the years, you might want to do a little research especially for the ones that include children 😔 heartbreaking 💔

  • I remember that day, I personally know some of people who died, the city hospital was crowded like never before, some families lost half members in the black wedding. Thumbs up for info and projects you present adrian, you did your homework very well 👍🏼. Still there are many details but will take longer time to tell.

  • I knew nasra very well coz I met and talked to her personally in the central jail of kuwait. you might wonder why I was there? well i got pregnant out of wedlock. But that was 13 years ago. Anyway as I was saying I met her there in the area which they called ” macofat” where the person needs to be quarantine first before mixing her to another inmates. I remember she was the first person who welcomed me in that area. She was very kind and very fun to be with. I also remember one time she asked me what is my case why I’m in the jail? I told her it’s because I got pregnant and the father of my child was missing. She said “hada mushkila” it’s mean problem. So I asked her the same question why your here? She said at first that I had some problem with money laundering since I was new I just believed of what she told me. As time went on I heard a lot of humors against her that every time she went to the court she needs to have a lot of police to escort her because those families that she killed was trying to assasinate her. Though I already knew the truth she kept on denying about what happened. After 9 months in the jail I traveled back to my country with my daughter. I felt sad about what happened to her but in the end justice has been served. Rest In Peace nasra and thank you for the memories. There are some missing details here that witness was her srilankan housemaid. And yes I remember she told me she had miscarriage.

  • I know that case it’s really big news here in Kuwait, but majority of women sympathized her because she’s really indeed pregnant and her selfish husband married 2nd wife without her knowing at all, she found it only during the wedding day itself. But crime is crime and there’s a lot of innocent people died shes devastated when she found out her target were not even inside that tent.

  • One sidenote, Holland is the incorrect name for the country of the Netherlands. Holland only covers the two Dutch provinces of north and south Holland. The Netherlands is the correct name for the country. Other than that, your articles are amazing as usual. Very calm and relaxing voice, very respectful to the victims and I can not help but enjoy you occasionally cussing out the perpetrators. <3

  • Hi, if we are talking about cases that made a country change their laws, we have one in the Netherlands. On the 9th of April 2011 one man killed six people (and himself) and wounded seventeen more, with the only motive I remember being his mental state. The killings took place in a mall and the killer had left a note that he had planted explosives in the mall, luckily, this turned out to be fake. Since the killer was a member of a shooting club, the courts researched wether he should have been allowed to even have a weapon in the first place. The verdict was, of course, no. This changed laws in the Netherlands concerning gun ownership for people who’s hobby involves guns.

  • As a Kuwaiti I remember this like it was yesterday, I was 13 when it happened, this incident shook the entire Arab nation because Kuwait is so safe and it’s unusual for something like this to happen, Kuwait is a small country and we consider ourselves like a big family, anything happens we all stick together through it, I’m proud to be Kuwaiti.

  • This story is very interesting. I’ve been the wife that was misunderstood, disparaged, and set aside by a Muslim man for a different bride. The difference is that we live in the USA. I tried to befriend the new wife, but the used to be husband blocked that as he knew I’d tell his secrets. Lmao 😂 My son had a hard time growing up, yet is a functioning adult. My “niece and nephew” attended a school at which I substitute taught. After 17 years, the children’s Father and I are somewhat cordial. It took 6 years from my late husband’s memorial to get to this point. When he was alive, I wasn’t respected at all. This story was very interesting. I’d like to see whatever stories you have.

  • This is a really sad case because due to the circumstances she was born in she was completely powerless all the time. At the whim of her parents and then married off to a husband, never able to decide for herself. Then her husband gives her two children, blames her for their condition (despite it likely being his genetics fault), makes her do all the caring for them, then tries to leave her with the kids just destitute. I’m glad I was born into a country that has more respect for women.

  • If you want to do more international cases, maybe you like to look into this one: In Germany, 2003, there was a high profile kidnapping of a banker’s son, Jakob von Metzler. The kidnapper was Magnus Gäfgen — a law student. He tried to extort money, obviously, but he was pretty stupid and quickly got arrested. But the twist is that when he was arrested, he didn’t want to reveal Jakob’s location and the police got desperate because they thought that Jakob was to starve in some hole. In their desperation they (allegedly) threatened him to be tortured, triggering a big political debate about “Rettungsfolter” (torture to rescue). Little did the police know… The whole case and everything surrounding it was pretty outrageous and heads did roll.

  • I still can’t understand such traditions, married man marrying another woman whilst his is still with him, and no one considers the heartache those women suffers is just not making sense. Someone takes you innocence and gives you children, neglect you and go for a new one…nothing right about that. She should have just walked away and left him, not kill innocent people. But who are we to judge 💁🏽‍♀️

  • Wow this has me torn. While what she did was so disproportionate in who it impacted, I also feel like she was handed a raw deal. Instead of changing laws about, say, the first wife having to consent to a second marriage, they just change laws around the tents. Which it sounds like needed changing as well, sure. But I can’t imagine feeling discarded but also still attached. It’s not like she could remarry.

  • It’s sad that the husband didn’t die, he’s pure evil to leave his wife alone with their disable children, she really cared about them otherwise she would’ve left him with the children the moment she learned about him searching for second wife. I hope those children are not left with her parents after her death, I hope it’s the husband who receives them. I hope every wife leaves him for those children.

  • Covering international cases also means shining a light on other countries and their unique cultures, so yes, more of this please. 🙂 I’m…still processing this one in particular. Part of me is still hung up on the fact that one of the wealthiest nations in the world still stigmatizes mental health problems and is okay with polygamy, especially polygamy based almost entirely on the arrangement of a third party. But that’s good, in a way, it’s good to remember how different different countries are. Thank you for that.

  • This story is very horrifying and tragic. I feel so sorry for those women and children who were burnt alive. What are torturous, horrible way to die?, I can’t help but have a little bit of sympathy for the woman know as women in that culture, don’t seem to have any rights. Not that this excuses her actions at all. She sadly deserved what she got.💛💛💛

  • I believe that she was completely right to be angry – I mean, who wouldn’t be after basically being cheated on? However, that does not, in any way, justify her actions. There are much better ways to deal with something like this than to take it out on multiple innocent people, who had nothing to do with the event in the first place

  • Imagine having 2 disabled children & your husband just taking on another wife to start again. She must have felt like discarded trash. Her heart must have ached for her children. Selfish was a very polite description for his actions. So strange that they celebrate separately, I’ve never heard of that. I know Assyrians are christian & they have one wife & celebrate together. Brides feel so excited to wear their wedding attire & look beautiful on the day, they’ve probably looked forward to since being a little girl. So their being able to relax & doff their hijabs doesn’t really seem like something to look forward to. It shocks me that another woman would marry a man already married with special needs children. I hope his second wife raises the special needs children as her own.

  • what she did was horrendous and unforgivable, I do believe that their current laws on multiple wives and such set the scene for retaliation. For anyone with previous mental health issues, taking care of two disabled children and without true support I believe they should expect more similar outcomes. This woman went too far but I feel she was pushed into a dangerous situation.

  • A teenage bride, a person struggling with mental health issues,Mom to 2 children with special needs married to a jerk who looks for greener pastures once he realises it’s not going to be smooth sailing.I don’t blame her for wanting to kill him…He was just as much to blame for the situation as she but then this is the Middle East which means men can do as they wish and get away with it. How sad that completely innocent people died !

  • We have one in the Philippines– the Chiong murder case. A photo of the two but older surfaced years later and a documentary by the one imprisoned for murder led to many younger Filipinos believing him innocent. It didnt help that the mother of the two acted… the way she did (understandable for me cause she just lost two girls but for some they use it as an attack on her character). It was a wild case here and a lot is still unresolved

  • I really like international cases (though, in reality I love hearing you narrate any case). If you’re looking for something from Argentina, 20 years ago a woman was murder in a gated community in Pilar, near Buenos Aires. All fingers pointed to her husband, but he never admitted to it. The story is really interesting, and it even has a six-episode documentary in Netflix. The victim’s name was María Marta García Belsunce. I hope to see it here one day. See you in the next vid!

  • This breaks my heart! So many women and children lost in a fire set by another woman, mom with kids herself. Ugh..I don’t get it! I don’t really keep up with punishment other than here in the USA, but I had no idea that hanging was still out there. That shocked me but I guess it serves it’s purpose no matter what it is 🤷🏼‍♀️ thank you for the article! Look forward to seeing them 😊✌🏻 all over the world is good 👍🏻

  • The research you have done for this case is really good! I am from a neighbouring country called Qatar and I can tell the way you presented the information is well. There was a bizarre case in Qatar if you would like to get in touch and I can tell you about it. I have a degree in criminology so I have a high interest in this information

  • Is so sad what happened to those women and children.I heard they found a woman corpse and under her,her 3 children.😢I believe the woman she did not realise the magnitude of the fire and that she did not planned to kill anyone.I also feel sorry for the young woman.I can imagine the despair of having a husband enjoying a new wife while she is having 2 handicapped children. They were probably cousins…She could just leave the marriage, give her kids to the father for the new wife to take care of them and marry another man from which may have healthy babies….than to end up dead and kill so many.
