Yes I think they should do whatever they want with the money and yes I feel like it should be split between the two of them and spend however they decide to do with that money is their business because it was a gift and I like Michelle agree that I would actually put that money to better use that way any home that I buy it my future will be a clean slate from anything that has to do with bachelor nation or the gift for that home and start clean.
As far as the check goes I think they both still are deserving of it because if you you can recall the season had very limited traveling because of Covid. They didn’t get the exposure as other seasons were allowed and the check was supposed to supplement that. So I don’t think that should be given back due to them breaking up. This was one the most realistic hometowns we’ve seen in a while. Even though his Mom and Stepdad are divorced their on the same page about Nayte not being ready to commit. Such a sweet and endearing moment between him and his stepdad. Nayte needed to hear those words but Nayte has to grow into his own man before he becomes a husband. Communication in a relationship everything so if you struggle with that, you may want to hold off on such a huge commitment. Still a great guy, just not ready for marriage.
It was nice to see Nayte being really vulnerable in this scene. I feel like you can tell he’s being genuine but I just don’t know if he’s there yet emotionally to be able to fully understand what he’s feeling and the difference between lust, infatuation and love. In like 3 years time after some therapy and a bit more experience I feel like they’d be perfect for each other but right now, idk. Nayte was fighting his feelings, the shaking of the foot he was nervous. He has lots of pent up feelings that needs to come out. He has difficulty expressing himself, when asked a question he diverts the something else, not giving a clear answer. I noticed this whenever Michelle speaks with him. I am sure she will be able to not only help him with this, but calm him down. She has to be strong with him, I think he needs someone like her. She is an excellent listener. 🥲🙏🏽❤️
This is not a popular opinion but I think Nayte’s hometown was probably the most promising of the 4. The energy that Nayte gave felt like love to me. And eventhough his parents didn’t feel like he was ready, they also made note that they’ve never seen him so happy and that yah he’s not ready but he’s getting there. A lot of people seem to have overlooked that acknowledgement. I just see how Nayte recognizes how Michelle is improving his life and relationships and that is probably what will set Michelle apart from any other girl he’s ever known. Nayte’s growing feelings just feel so genuine and unrushed for me. The other guys are all great but I don’t think the love feelings are growing as authentically. If anything I think they’re feelings are a result of the process. Nayte and Michelle just seemed to have those butterflies with each other from the start.
Still team Nayte. The process is letting him come forth with true emotions. Through this he will discover self and a place of happiness with Michelle. Remember he’s been opening up more on different family situations and dynamics. He doesn’t have to be like everyone. Michelle knows best we cannot judge him by tit bits. He broke down for real he’s sensing the deeper feelings his step dad probed him well. Sometimes men need the shaking to come to a realization. Wishing him the BEST he will be a great husband. This is what happens when you’re emotionally withdrawn from your child. It builds emotionally closed off individuals. I’ve never said nor heard “I love you” from both my parents either. Guess who hates words of affirmations or physical touch? I’m sure his Nigerian dad definitely doesn’t show affections either.
This was very heartwarming to watch but this further proves Nayte is not ready and he’s just not the one no matter how much Michelle wants to make it work. In the long run he’s just emotionally immature and I pray he heals since its very clear his family dynamic never allowed him to voice his emotional trauma. I was team Nayte the first few weeks but its very clear to me now how he would be a terrible choice and Michelle unfortatuntely seems to be too infatuated with him to see all the red flags
All ya’ll throwing haterade on nayte, just step off the man and let him be. He’s obviously been through so much with his mom and dad’s divorce to his mom and step dad’s divorce. We go through different traumas in our lives and when we get into relationships and grow, that’s when those old wounds resurface. I’m glad nayte is dealing with the hurts and praying he can heal from them. I’ve never sat down and talked to my parents before. If they ever wanted to, I wouldn’t be able to articulate much well at all because like nayte, I’d be so shook that we are actually sitting down having a civil conversation.
Those with African parents we get it especially from the fathers. Men are raised differently in Africa. So they expect the same from their sons but when they move away from the environment and marry elsewhere, that is where the real struggles come in. He may not have shown his love for Nayte but he really does love him. I love the ‘I will be who you are to me for them.’ And his father said, ‘you will be better than me.’ That was very high praise coming from him and I could tell it meant alot to Nathaniel.
It’s plain to see why Nayte is like this. His real dad put a degree in front of him giving him emotional support and while I realize how the goal was part of culture, it almost crippled this young man in expressing his heart. The step father provided love for Nayte but they never said what they felt but it did not mean it was not there and real. Nayte is learning from Michelle parents who were maybe opposite from Nayte’s that you can communicate your heart through words and actions. Nayte is going to be alright as he is healing right before our eyes. It is beautiful. The dysfunctional elements of his home life get check and balance from Michelle seeing the opposite in her life. She’ll help him express it, but it’s there and real. Love ❤ makes people, animals, plants everything grow and blossom. They will have a great marriage and with kids.
