Is Bride Wars appropriate?
Parents should know that this comedy is mildly amusing and age-appropriate for older tweens. However, it plays up stereotypes about women with its focus on shopping, consumerism, and conflict between friends.
A Lot or a Little? What you will and won’t find in this movie. How can you let kids see this? It’s disgusting male strippers! You want kids to watch this. Repent and seek Christ. This movie has bad language and sexual references. I’d say it’s better for kids over 14.

📹 Kleinfeld’s Most Outspoken Entourages | Say Yes to the Dress | TLC
From harsh critiques to snappy comebacks, take a look at some of the most outspoken entourages to pass through Kleinfeld’s …
I could not be more annoyed, if my best friend were insulting and rude to my future sister-in-law, I’d have to tell him to stop it. He is also being rude to the other friend and when the bride says she loves the dress, he undermines her then she changes her mind. She’s obviously used to letting him, have his way.
Bentley is a drama queen. If a bride said “I love everything about it” to a dress. You shut tf up and compliment her. I don’t think Sarah is wrong at all. It is traditional and just barely conservative enough. If you want glam and smoke show go to the strip club not at a wedding ceremony. Such rude and manipulation from him is so disgusting.
Randy, the reason I like the availability of blush and softer colors for wedding gowns is because bright white looks harsh on some brides. I went with a ginger bride who put on a white gown and every blemish on her skin popped out like every freckle was on toothpicks! The consultant put her in a candlelight white gown, and her skin looked smooth and beautiful!! She went from being a pretty bride in a beautiful wedding gown to being a beautiful BRIDE in a lovely gown.
Bentley is nothing less that rude. You can have a strong opinion. You can disagree with someone else. But insults, name calling and accusing someone of being “selfish” when their opinion doesn’t align with yours is childish. This is the bride’s future sister-in-law and she does have a very good idea what is acceptable to her family. Some level of conservatism is expected in an Indian wedding. The bride is showing respect for her future family by trying to follow these traditions. The “best friend” is a jerk and should have been left at home.
Bride: I’m getting married in Montana. The mountains are the backdrop and we will dance under the stars. I’m looking for a dress that is country and boho. Bride’s Idiot Friend: If the dress doesn’t say smoke and laser lights, I’m not going to like it. Me: Why did she bring him along? What about a country wedding says, “smoke and laser lights?” Is he even listening to the bride?
The fact that the first brides first dress she doesn’t fit into the sample is everything that’s wrong with the industry. She’s not even close to fitting which means it has to be like a size zero. The average American woman is a 16 bridal size 20. How is anyone supposed to feel confident on their wedding day if the sample dresses come in a size zero?
Randy, I am so glad you spoke up to the rude entourage, with Bentley. All I could think was, ” You are acting like a real a_h___e My two best male friends growing up were gay, and they thought I was beautiful and loved me and neither one of them would have EVER spoken to me like that! Doug was 6’5″ tall and he was a fabulous designer and sewist. John became a hair stylist, and he and I always had the most torrid kissing scenes in all of the drama competitions! We had a blast and he was always worried that his lips were too chapped for me. I was more concerned with how we played it off for the audiences and judges.
Bently need to drive on somewhere🙄. This ain’t his day 😂 Also, I don’t understand Margo’s tastes. Maybe its because I’m a mother of twins but their codependency is unhealthy. It may be because they’re mother was gone. She was sure, as well as everyone else until her twin opens her mouth. That cape was breathtaking. I’m glad they all came to an agreement. The bride with the blush dress was so precious🤗 Lazario was a champ. That mother-in-law Tina….bless that poor bride’s heart. I think she feels threatened a tad. Her mom on the other hand handled everything so well.
WHY would anyone bring their future mother-in-law to go dress hunting? They’re not supposed to see the bride before their son does!! Tina had strong opinions that weren’t bride-friendly in my opinion. She wanted to be heard saying something different from what Erin’s Mom (mother of the bride) said about each dress. She is the person who should have had the LEAST to say. She was invited to Kleinfeld’s but she must have known that her opinion wasn’t as important as Erin’s family’s opinions.
“The Most Outspoken” just being that it’s more important to some of the friends in the entourages to have their moments heard and seen in the centre of attention. At some points the envy is so real it’s palpable, say, when she’s walking out in a new dress. And its really only one person in each group who is stirring enough that maybe they should stay home on the wedding day.
12:00 I’m so sorry for the futur sister in law, but I have to be honest: if my gbf (since I funnily enough also have one) would treat my sister or potential sister in law like that I would not have it. He was straight up bullying her and the bride just stood there and listened to it silently. I don’t think you 100% would need to know all the details of that conversation, but if someone behaves like that you say something nonetheless
Ironic that Bentley says Sarah is looking at the gown as if SHE was going to wear it when he is doing the same thing. At the same time, Sarah is not at all considering the brides taste but is more thinking ONLY of her culture and HER family’s taste and values in terms of gowns. What about what the bride wants/ Her voice should be the only one that matters since SHE’S wearing the dress.
Enough is enough, and sometimes it can become too much. That first group obviously thought they were cute and funny, and they took full advantage of the cameras in the room. Bentley, with his self-appointed “fashionista queen” actually knew slim to nil about wedding dresses, fabrics, and what looks good on different body types. This was a really awkward thing to watch and frankly I don’t understand why the bride brought the three of them with her to look for a dress. They managed to make it all about themselves and their opinions rather than about Jessica’s wedding day. Bentley seems like a very kind and friendly person and I’m sure he’s a great friend to everyone, but he really showed his over-bearing “look at me, look at me………” side in this appointment. It was sadly pathetic.
As a gay best friend myself that was so inappropriate and rude. He really didn’t show any care for his friends feelings and concerns. He was so full of himself that he forgot about the bride. As a friend, i would give my full attention and support to my friend (bride), this is her moment, i would make sure that she feels my love and support and i would try my best to make her appointment as memorable and fun as possible. That’s exactly what he didn’t do.
Why do they bring such negative people with them on this special outing? If the people are super opinionated, leave them home! This is about how the BRIDE feels, and no one else. Plus, bringing large groups is always inviting trouble. The more people, the more difficult it will be to get people on the same page. I brought my mother when I went shopping for my dress, and that was it. My mother was amazing.
So I see everyone getting on Bentley which I definitely understand. Though I also see that he doesn’t want his friend to be swayed to much by the SIL and her conservative views. While it’s great to be honest sometimes it’s best to suck it up if the bride really likes the dress. It’s clear he has her best interest at heart but is definitely not going about it correctly and stirring up drama.
Bently with his 2 seconds of fame 😢 the bride came out loving this dress and he totally killed her confidence he thinks he’s doing her a big one with his brutal honesty but he’s just being a jerk and a shit friend there’s time and place for everything, this isn’t about him and he Cleary has something against the bride finance’s family
I do not understand why brides say well that person or this person as to love the dress WHO’S WEDDING IS IT? IF YOU LIKE THE DRESS IT IS YOUR WEDDING, you chose the dress you like best, my best friend loved the dress she chose and I respected that she looked great in it of course she tried other dresses that did not fit her and I told her but never was rude about it. AT the end of the day it is all about the bride happiness so do not lie if it does not look good on her but do not be a nasty bi*&*t about it. JUST SAYING
Gotta be honest, although Bentley’s opinions were expressed wrongly, I understand what he is saying. The bride expressed from the beginning that she’s concerned about covering up for her new Indian family and her sister-in-laws comments are favoring the conservative “What would the family approve of” traditions. There has to be some frustration in the fact that she can’t have full control over what she wants because she has to be mindful of these people living in another country under different cultural values. His comments were phrased rudely, but I don’t think wrong.
Bently was annoying and rude a big B**ch i hate that the bride must’ve felt like it was the worst days that anoyed me most was but the sister-in-law was also being all be more traditional shit like who gives a shit get the best dress you love and yes i know this wording goes both sides but the traditional thing was really putting up a fence to the chance of exploring beautiful different new types of dresses ya know… the brides gonna miss out on different really pretty dresses In the end the bride still wanted to follow her husband family and i respect that what i typed were all just how it felt to me hopefully she got the dress ahe wants im sure she would look really good in whatever dress she picks
Everyone is focusing on bentley, and while he was definitely the loudest the entire entourage was rude, the sil(? Brown hair) was putting TOO much focus on being “conservative and traditional”, and while the bride wanted aspects of those she didnt want to be COMPLETELY traditional, the blond one almost never said anything good and was simply there for drama, and then ofc bentley was being rude (as much as i agree the sil’s taste was boring) and making it about his tastes. I will say though I totally agree the first dress was the best imo
“Sarah, is thinking about what she would where.” I don’t think that’s correct she had said during the first dress that the bride’s face doesn’t look like she likes it very much. Bentley is the epitome of a person who doesn’t deserve loyal friends. Also, for someone who says they have good taste while wearing a crew neck t-shirt and black jeans with Stefon tattoo sleeves doesn’t scream that you know much about style. It’s about what makes the bride feel like herself, confident and beautiful. It’s about what SHE wants and how SHE feels. If it’s a dress that doesn’t match your own style doesn’t matter because you’re not the bride. He can shop for his own smoke 💨 dress. Whatever the hell that is
Bentley made a commet that sis-in-law was being a little selfish & just wants her to wear what her & her family wouldl ike her to wear.. So why is he talking crap about the dresses that she likes? Now he’s being selfish by wanting her to wear what he likes. For any bride who takes an entourage dress shopping, you need to have a talk w/those people not to put their 2 cents in & downgrade each dress just because they don’t like it. The people who come just need to only look at the brides face to see how she’s reacting to it.
The gay best friend was wayyy out of his line! So rude that too without a reason. Chill out dude, just because you think you’re supposed to be opinionated & dramatic to have a “personality” & gain attention doesn’t necessarily mean you have to cause DRAMA in everyone’s life. He was so disrespectful to the bride & her in-laws & her cousin as well, someone needs to show him a mirror.
Although the way Bentley acted was completely inappropriate, I do agree with him that the first dress was more unique, and it had such a unique pattern in the lace which just screamed “BOHO!” The bride said that she believed her fiancée would love it, and she loved it, but the future SIL seemed to be steering her away from what the bride stated she wanted, so why is it okay when she does it, but not when the GBF does it? There was nothing revealing about that dress, in fact it was probably more conservative.
Bently and friends looked like unsophisticated buffoons playing with those expensive hair ornaments and bouquets. They looked like teens or toddlers running amok grabbing at things they should know better than to take. It’s like they are playing dress up with Instagram photo booth props. How cringe. They embarrassed the sophisticated bride. Bently is obviously jealous of the bride’s family and will cause problems in this marriage if he can.
0:11 Can you imagine someone dress like that guy with tattoos and a really old raggedy, thin and out of shape tie shirt going to a high end bridle shop in New York. This is so fake. This would be, in reality unthinkable and Kleinfeld’s would treat you like crap if you walked in like that. Your going to buy a dress for thousands of dollar and you can’t even wear a shirt.
Who’s wedding is it? Her sister acts as if it is her day. For a bride that needs her sister to like the dress blows my mind. 💥🤯 Do you have your sister wipe your butt to. If this bride depends upon her sisters pick of a dress. Then lady your not ready to be married. If your not careful your sister will tell you what to do and how to do it after you say I do. Stand up to her. Otherwise your life will never be yours. 💔
