This document explains how to create a conference bridge with a PIN code that customers can set and change from the phone. To do this, users need to create an Incoming Call Route, create two short codes, and create two conference bridges. The Avaya IP Office (IPO) platform is a single, stackable, scalable small business communications system that grows with businesses easily and cost-effectively.
To create a conference call, users must press Feature 3 while active on a call, press Feature 3 when dial tone is heard, and press Feature 3 again to add the second party to the call. All parties hear a single beep to indicate they are in a conference call.
To initiate a conference, users dial the direct number allocated to the conference bridge, type in the PIN (require Preferred Edition), and then enter the conference ID followed by the # sign. Once the conference ID is confirmed, it will ask them to enter the conference pin.
A conference bridge is integrated into the IP Office platform, allowing users to set up audio conferences for multiple parties no matter where they are located. Recording a conference requires an additional conference channel and an IP Office Line (SCN trunk) channel to the recording destination.
In IP Office, users can use the Conference Meet Me and Voicemail Pro Client to create a conference bridge with a PIN code. The phone holds the existing call and displays the Select participant dialog box during a call.

Hi, first of all thanks for posting your tutorial on how to set up conference bridge or meet me conference which i have IP Office to set up. I followed your article tutorials but when i tested it doesn’t work. By the way i have to share our IP Office set up in our office. Our IP Office is tied up with our existing PABX System which is Panasonic TDE100 using QSIG and it works fine IP Office and Panasonic TDE 100 communicate each other. So in this case the DID line is coming from Panasonic to have an access when you want to use a line to IP Office. The scenario is whenever you dial our DID number it falls to extension 861 because it’s program to Panasonic system (incoming). So can you help what should i do for the incoming routes with this set up. Because as your article you put on the destination *63 so how about in my case because every time you dial our DID it rings to 861 what changes or configuration must i need to do? And it is the same set up even online because on your article tutorials you’re on offline. Actually i tried even offline same thing happened doesn’t work. Do i need to add the example 776 you added to short codes to user end extension to my IP Office manager? Thank you in advanced and hope someone will reply me soon as i need to set up meet me conference on my system. Best Regards, Jun
