Erectile dysfunction (ED) is a sexual disorder that affects the ability to achieve or maintain an erection of the penis during sexual intercourse. It can have a significant impact on both partners in a marriage, and it is deeply personal and reverberates down to the very existence of our species. Common causes of ED include heart disease, clogged blood vessels, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, and metabolic syndrome.
Couple relationship problems that can affect sexual interaction include pervasive hostility, poor communication, lack of trust, and disparate levels of sexual desire. Therapists should be able to manage therapy sessions with both partners present without taking sides and treating the relationship as the “client.” Erectile dysfunction can also be caused by psychological conditions such as depression or changes in hormone levels. Relationship issues that can lead to ED include stress and anxiety at home, family conflicts, arguments with your partner, or a partner with sexual dysfunction or trauma.
Erectile dysfunction can create new stressors in a marriage, so it is important for both partners to be open and honest about their feelings, particularly regarding sexual intimacy issues that may have arrived with the ED. Erectile dysfunction can cause feelings of frustration, insecurity, and low self-esteem, which can be detrimental to both partners.
To deal with ED in a marriage, couples can either face it head-on and work together toward a healthier relationship. Erectile dysfunction can also lead to feelings of insecurity and low self-esteem, which can negatively impact the mental well-being of both partners.

📹 What to say if your partner is struggling with erectile dysfunction
Andrew Rinehart from Oak Ridge Medical Clinic has tips for how to start the conversation when your partner is struggling with ED.
I tested positive for Erectile dysfunction after having a horrible outbreak, and felt the same way you described in your interview. Listening to you share your overcome experience gave me the glim of hope I needed to hear. I am glad that there is people like you out there who just want to help other people who are struggling with the same issues. Your words gave me the courage I needed to hear today to know that it’s ok. I can still be myself and now I’m enjoy my life the way I am supposed to. it is a blessing i came across you Igho website
I was a sufferer of dysfunctional erections and premature ejaculation throughout my first marriage. It was only when I discovered that I did not have the same problem with my second wife that I realised that it was all caused through anxious concern as to my performance. The benefit of initially taking those little blue tablets made me realise a new confidence, and with that came the desired performance and complete control. Personal ease, develops confidence and with that all anxiety disappears, and voila, there’s and erection. Now it’s all down to breathing and being ahead of the game, to get control. All the best my friends. Who dares wins.
one cause of ed that is never ever talked about is the VASCECTOMY i had a vascectomy 25 years ago and havent been the same since!! so beware, ive seen so many consultants who say its unrelated to the vascectomy, but nobody knows my body like i do, and i also lead a very healthy healthstyle, the vascectomy was the worst day of my life!
Well, thanks for the info. This confirms what I’ve been doing is working. Also because of the natural living, I stop a lot of medications, especially for ED. Yes, we do need a healthy lifestyle. We also need to get rid of the toxin stuff we use / do every day and the things we eat so we don’t get sick. The list goes on. The only thing I have trouble is with erectile dysfunction, that’s the only medication I take. Natural medicine and it works fine, thnk you very much Doctor Orias I’m so glad I came across your website……
From the very first time I started seeing testimonies about you Dr osaye, I always had full confidence in you that even if I had purchased your medicine,my hsv1/2 test would be tested negative, now I’m so happy that I could finally say thank you so much Dr you really are a God sent and i appreciate you a lot
Trust and honesty is something that will always lead you straight to what’s right, firstly I was afraid to trust the doctor not knowing he was the one God sent to heal my virus,I was positive of Ed,I’ve been battling with this virus and just decided to take a step and order the medication from Dr osaye, now I can finally testify and say thank you doctor from the deepest of my heart
Dr Osaye, you really have a way of doing things and making it really perfectly, I always had the mindset that my penis won’t ever work again due to my ED,but you told me I was wrong by recommending your herbal medicine for my Ed, I still can’t believe I can finally be a man in bed, thanks so much doctor
I was considering my next life being born in Africa, with the herbal medications they produce,Dr osaye is most likely my African Doctor, when I thought erectile dysfunction is what I am going to live with for the rest of my life because this took me 22 years to figure out about the cure, thank you so much Dr osaye for your medication you’re a life saver
Best thing that’s happened to me, it’s probably a side effect of the nerve painkillers and anti inflammatory painkillers I take for sciatica. But it’s great, I don’t actually care about it I kicked my girlfriend to the curb and am now very happily single and don’t even feel the need to self indulge so to speak. I feel free of a burden really as like many men I would sometimes let that type of thing somewhat control me at times. My biggest worry is that it all returns if I’m taken off the drugs as I’m genuinely happier without it all. Are there drugs a doctor can give me to make me feel unneeding as it were long term?
There is no question here. This ED medication works. From what precisely I have noticed, the result is remarkable. I wasn`t feeling plenty of desire but this provided my drive a turbo charge. It makes me able to perform much better. My health has improve and I`m noticing that I am getting bigger . We both seen the differences compared before. I would not ask for more than this.
Thank you Dr osaye for being there when I wanted you to,I was so lost in this new world, this new world that I hassled to start, you not only guide me with your strong herbal remedies, but along the way you guided me and showed me the proper way how I could get rid of my erectile dysfunction,I will like to give a heartfelt appreciation for being there
So, it’s been something like 3 years at this point that I know my erections to not be at their 100% and sometimes I can even struggle to keep them (thankfully that’s rarer but still very annoying when it happens). I mean I don’t smoke, drink, nor take any drugs. I don’t have diabetes, although I suspect that my testosterone levels might be low… I imagine though that what you call “my mental health” is probably where I lack the most… Indeed, I own and run multiple companies and own and develop many properties (all by myself). And that results in a roller coaster of emotions on a daily basis for me… My sleeping is much better now than back in the days, but now I tend to sleep too much, and be very tired almost 24/7. With me taking naps at every opportunities…. This situation leaves me with less self-confidence, and where I used to be super motivated and sexually active back just a few years, things are harder for me now in that respect… BUT, what am I supposed to do about it really ? I can’t stop working and leave my responsibilities behind… !!!
Okay I will add a reply here because I can. Ahem Exercise you legs – if you have weak legs like what happened to me you may have it and also not getting enough protein. When the legs exercise the body releases testasterone – no other part of the body when exercised does this. Also getting enough nutrition I had stopped eating 3 meals a day when I noticed. So for me it was me laying down in bed too much and lacking nutrition. I suddenly started to freak out because in one month it suddenly became quite clear. It’s not permanent but the underlying cause could and most likely is a lot more physical than mental and I don’t know why more people don’t talk about it. Anyway I hope this helps also it’s would be best to give yourself 90 days or more with this change from what I am reading and can see is it takes time especially when neglect on the lower part of the body was not exercised. I hope and pray this helps someone put there.
I had erectile dysfunction for the last 13 years… At the time of marriage I took some performance enhancing drugs to increase my testesterone and sperm count and erection and I have 2 kids all these times doctors were not able to diagnose my case 2 weeks back I saw an andrologists and he ask for my blood test and he told my prolactin level 25 ngl is too much and gave some medication. Could I recover and go back to normal erection and sex life after taking this medication as I had been suffering from this condition for the last 13 years from the age of 24 to current age 37.
The primary cause of ED is the restriction of blood flow to the penis as a result of artery disease. It’s the same cause for loss of hearing, sense of smell, taste, high blood pressure, type 2 and heart disease. In fact most modern chronic maladies like gout and arthritis also have the same cause. And unless you open up those jammed arteries your aren’t going to fix ED or any other disease.

Making Love The intention to have sex creates expectations, pressure to perform and fear of failure. If you’ve been sexually traumatized, it’s even worse. Making love, on the other hand, is something that almost any being can do at any time. Even sexually traumatized people can do this if they are naturally loving people. JAnd we can practice it on ourselves and on others. Then the sex is irrelevant and we can love others physically.
I had no clue that my fiancee had this condition. We met on a blind date. After dating for a month I made it clear to my soon to be husband that I didn’t believe in having sex before marriage. I was in my middle twenties and he was in his early thirties when we married. I have since realized I’m an empath and I will put others before myself. I felt betrayed because he never told me for years that he was taking the blue pill. Seven years into the marriage I found out on my own when I caught him taking the pill. I ask him what are you taking and that’s when he finally told me. I knew something wasn’t right on our honeymoon but I never questioned. About a month into the marriage everything changed in the bedroom. I was not aware he’d seen a Dr and received treatment. A year later we had our first child and a second two years after the first child. Several years later with two small children I would be up making sure homework was done lunches were prepared for school. Ironing the kids clothes for school the next morning. Just a very busy life. My husband would go to bed at 9:00 and watch TV and yell my name out loud. Sometimes I would be on the phone while doing chores for preparation the following day. The person I was talking to could here him yelling my name. I couldn’t talk to my mom or other family members without them saying to me something like let me let you go. So I knew they could here him. I had no idea he had taken a pill and I was supposed to be in the bedroom at the time it took effect.
I went through ED for 10years. I thought my sex life will come to an end, and one day I will no longer be able to stay with a woman. But as I’m talking to you. The ED IS BEHIND ME. I can’t really say what treatment I did. I only had shockwave therapy 1year ago. But it seems didn’t work. But 1years later I’m free from ED. ONE ADVICE I CAN GIVE. PUT AN END TO CIGARETTE AND MARIJUANA. THIS 2MAKE ED WORSE. YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT.
Dr Ogie, you really have a way of doing things and making it really perfectly, I always had the mindset that my penis won’t ever work again due to my ED,but you told me I was wrong by recommending your herbal medicine for my Ed, I still can’t believe I can finally be a man in bed, thanks so much doctor
I’m 75 years old now and I’ve only had ED experiences maybe a dozen times in my life, and most of those have been within the last couple of years. But most of the time I’m sitting on go sexually. I think the secret to my success is that I’ve been eating sardines ever since I was a young boy, and because I’ve been eating beef liver once a week since I was a young man. Another thing I think has really helped keep me in shape sexually is that I’ve been drinking red wine since I was in my late 20’s, a bottle or two per day, and I hardly ever miss a day. But I think the main thing is the sardines. I usually eat two or three cans per week and I’ve been doing that for most of my life. Every time one of my ex’s saw me eating sardines she’d say “Oh No!!!” But she’d be saying it with a grin on her face.
I was supposed to exercise at the gym with a coach but he couldn’t make it and told me to do legs i ran on the treadmill for 30 minutes and did my leg workouts i was dying but kept telling my self it was worth it and when i got home and tried to do a little something something usually im rock hard but when i came back my dick wasn’t and is now barely getting hard never in my life have i been this stressed out in does anybody know if this is gonna be temporary or not please answer (btw this happened 2 days ago and my legs hurt like hell)
