  • If you know you got picky relatives in France don’t bother taking them to your appointment because you always know that they have high standards and there’s a good chance that they’re high standards is not always going to be what you want when picking out a dress for yourself now if they were picking their own dresses, they can have their high standard, but when it comes to you, you got to be the one to pay for it and feel good in it

  • Really don’t like the format of these articles. The computer-generated voiceover and text (which often gets it wrong: ‘bedding’ instead of ‘wedding’??) are really annoying. The script is a bit cheesy, but would conme off better with an actual human delivering it. And there are too many clips in here – the last one has a link box for another article over it! And… where was the clip of Randy telling a bride to stop wasting his time? I totally clicked for that! And either I blinked and missed it (very possible) or it’s just not here.

  • The dress chose her, it was literally waiting for her to be found. It just screams vineyard vibe. This is the first time that I am elated at a Kleinfeld consultant’s job. She did a marvellous job of getting the under budget one of a kind beautiful bridal dress. I’m soooo happy at this wonderful serendipitous end to the appointment. 5:53

  • I love this dress so much more than the original $8k dress. The colors are more flattering to her skin tones and coloring (the bronze with her golden blonde hair), the design is both vintage and modern, and the variations in fabric adds another design element. There is a complexity and beauty to this bronze and white dress that goes beyond the black and white stripes, which definitely stood out but didn’t blend or look bridal. A woman doesn’t want to look like a clown on her wedding day but a bride. That’s a bit too harsh because the black and white dress was flattering, but the bronze and white is more bridal.

  • That fascinator absolutely finished the dress. I normally wouldn’t like a dress like that, but i confess she looked gorgeous in it. It sat beautifully on her body, had an 18th century feel to it’s design and structure that would absolutely work in her wedding setting, and you can’t beat the price for the quality of dress. She looked great ❤

  • This is intelligent buyer who knew exactly what she wanted and did the homework regarding what’s available at Kleinfeld’s sample section at the right price – for her perfect sample size figure. She could have found hidden jewel in thrift shop that specialize in vintage designer bridal, but hardly something this well fitting, elaborate, couture looking – at that price. Well done! She is great example of well thought out, wise shopping tactic that ended up with great purchase that favored her and her budget immensely.

  • What a beautiful bride in a beautiful dress. I’m so glad she was able to find a dress way out of her price originally but budget it down to half her budget because she looked stunning, absolutely STUNNING in that dress, and I agree with her that she looks better in it than she did the black and white.dress!!!!! I’m glad she did not have to go over her budget and I’m glad she’s very happy with the dress she found. I wish this bride much happiness in the future with her husband to be.♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

  • Having recently been through the wedding dress shopping process, my #1 advice is to not be shy about your budget. Also, if you have a ‘low’ budget, avoid these Kleinfield-type shops. We went to a local boutique and I was dreading our max-$1500 budget. I was relieved that nothing in the shop exceeded $2000 and most were in the $800-$1000 range. Bottom line, if you want to spend $10,000 on a dress, someone is happy to mark a dress up to suit your ego. If you want to spend $1000, another person is happy to charge you what the dress is actually worth.

  • I wish they had shown her in the dress more! In 1990 I got my dream dress on sale, I was a size 2 at the time and asked to see if they had any sample dresses by my favorite designers. I got a $5,000 dress for $950! I’m always amazed at how few brides take the time beforehand to look in bridal magazines, get an idea of what they like, and bring photos to their appointments…it would help the consultants and the brides so much!

  • Love to the Antonio Riva dress but it’s not a wedding dress. The black and white strapless reminds me of some old 1940s movie where a beautiful starlet as the lead wears that dress to a nightclub. I cried when I saw her in that second dress that she chose. It suits her, it’s beautiful, and who wouldn’t shed a tear at the bargain!

  • No ma’am you aren’t wrong, who would pay that kind of money, $2000 is a lot of money for a dress much less more than that…. The dress she chose didn’t need to be no $16k….smh. So glad she recognized the ridiculousness of dresses priced that high…. And stuck to her budget… But the dress she chose is gorgeous and gorgeous on her….

  • It’s nice that she’s trying to stick to her budget but she has to realize that you can’t Buy Champagne on a beer budget. An educated consumer is an awesome consumer. How is she ever thought she was going to get a couture dress for $2,000 is beyond me. I’m glad they found her something in the clearance rack ❤

  • When I see how much these dresses are, my jaw drops! I used to make custom wedding dresses. Knowing how to sew like an expert can benefit people so much. I realize that not everyone has the desire or time or both to learn to sew. Some of these veils that are $500 & up, I could make one with only spending $100 at the most. Veils are easier to make than the dress, so, a basic veil would only take me 2 afternoons. A more elaborate one would be 4 afternoons.

  • She found a beautiful couture gown that actually looked bridal and great on her! And she kept within her budget unlike so many of the brides they feature on SYTTD! Just my opinion but that black and white stripe dress made her look like an NFL referee😂 I can’t imagine why anyone would spend $8000 for that look! It would be memorable for sure but not in a good way!

  • What a steal, 16k for 999. Tells you how overpriced wedding dresses are. The bodice of the gowm was lovely and she looked beautiful in the dress. Of course the fitting will cost almost as much as the dress but still keep it under her budget. The family were also nice not catty and devisive like some of the anterages looked for much more expensive gown

  • I’m glad she was sticking to her reasonable budget, but imo, the first one she tried on after the striped one was beautiful. The one she ended up with seemed to be a bit of a random mess. Amd this is coming from a seamstress who specializes in weddings. It would be he a no from me. I don’t have a problem with original or unique, but… I’m glad she was happy though.

  • Even if he save up for it in two years, even if you don’t pick the gown that you actually really liked my falling in love with something else it just means you’ve got extra money to play with and hopefully the one you fall in love with that is new is cheaper and that means you got extra money to go towards something else

  • I hate to say it, but she has NO idea what a budget friendly wedding when she has $2,000 for a dress. My sister is getting married next year and she has maybe $200 tops for a dress. And that is making the money scream. They aren’t getting really getting anything they love. Just what is the cheapest. Can’t even have a photographer.

  • For a bride on a budget, she should have tried a consignment store in a real ritzy area of New York City! You have to do a lot of on-line snooping but they may even have a bridal 2nd hand store in NYC. It is amazing what you can get there and some still have the tags on-a bride changed her mind, lost/gained weight etc. In England, they even have and Oxfam (used clothing chain) Bridal with all 2nd hand and Consignment. Why would you even go to Kleinfelds knowing right off the bat that they are expensive? On another SYTTD, they told a bride; go online and find your dress in your budget, contact the designer and see if there is a shop in an area close to you.

  • I think this bride is very smart and has a strict budget. Sometimes i see brides spending tousend of dollars just because its a designer dress. However i still think that this 999 dollar dress is very ugly and i think she only bought it because of the price. If I would be the bride i would not come to kleinfield if i have a budget for 2000. there so many other little boutiques where you can find beautiful dresses for 2000. however at the end it counts that she is happy❤

  • Why are you do you do it to yourself? You know you like it I’m more expensive dress that you fallen for but you never actually tried to save up for it and actually do a good budget timeline to save up for in time instead of a year out maybe do it two years out for your wedding to actually save up for the dress you want and all the other stuff that you need for your wedding that you would like to have

  • Very few of the dresses at these high prices stores are worthy of the exorbitant amount on those price tags. If one has this sort of money then obviously one would find a decent. dressmaker and design one that needed to ones shape as the length from my shoulder to breast is different from yours as us the width of them to my rub Cafe ABD these measurements are incredibly important in the fit if a gown that offers little room for hiding mistakes such as a gown . ALL measurements are important to that final look and that is why rather than . investing in a gown can requiring alteration it is best to find appealing patterns that can be fitted into ones Own design . Then most towns have excellent dress makers, indeed I have friends who would & do help me out in clothes I have squired . This allows the added excitement if discovering your lical : haberdashery, & do fingering all those materials & finding embellishments that mean a simply cut bibybsjimming outline has your own ideas as you look carefully at how to er nhance this garment . As to my mind a wedding Dress should NIT be a sexually explicit garment but a subtle suggestion ifines future as a couple those encoutrements can greatly enhance this moment youn& your partner promise each other ‘ yourselves ‘ for CV lifetime . My own dress, rather simple yet evocative a cocktails dress still allows me pleasure 50 years later & was worn on many if my late Husbands & my Anniversary Dinners & various parties .. To expect a dress made as these are, not for one individual but tonx ‘ almost ” be The Dress seems a bit like those choosing ones husband shows .

  • It might be $16,000 that is marked down to under just a tad under 1000 but she’s going to spend another pot $1500 actually getting it resized altered to her size because I can tell and that’s gonna be a bitch to have to do because of all the entrances say of the work on itwith all that draping an extra little but nice flowers I mean I meant it is a gorgeous dress but you wanna spend double or more just to get the alterations

  • Jesus Christ died for our sins was buried and rose again the third day. I hope all who reads this will realize your a sinner (we all are) and turn to Jesus and trust and believe that He died for your sins was buried and rose again the third day but trust in Him alone to save you from your sins and hell.
