Hours after marrying her new husband Sam, Cearia runs away from her wedding reception leaving her new husband, to be with …
I’ve wanted to be a stay at home mom with a bunch of kids since I was really young. Like, really young. But I got an education, had a good job, found the love of my life in the middle of all that, and NOW I’m a stay at home mom. But if I wanted to, I could get another job. I gave myself that option because my mother drilled it into my head my entire life NOT to forgo education, the importance of making sure you have something to fall back on. It breaks my heart to think of just how many girls are out there who will ditch their education for this.
“His bride to be is seventeen” “A high school student when she met Tommy, Amber has since dropped out.” “I wanted to be an oncologist, now I wanna be a stay-at-home mom, I want him to go out and make money and I want to cook and clean for him.” “Unable to fly to Boston due to her pregnancy.” “After a six month whirl-wind romance.”
Honestly as far as couples go? This has been one of the best ones on this show. The dress wasn’t absolutely hideous, the men wore suits and looked like they bathed, there was no giant fight or drama about marrying a gorger, and everyone looked happy to be there. So as far as gypsy weddings go this was a home run.
What mother allows their ambitious daughter marry a gypsy guy and become a stay at home mother at 17? Yes she might be pregnant but that’s no reason to give up on your dreams, yes you have to work harder and longer than everyone else but a lot of people do both successfully. Yes some people change their minds about what they want to do, hell I have multiple times but it seems like she’s only changing her goals because she got pregnant and married a gypsy. From what I know about gypsies is that the women stay home with the kids while the guys work, it feels more like she’s trying to please him and his family from where I’m standing.
Everyone is entitled to doing what they choose. But it really makes me sad that she threw away a high school diploma, and a possible career in oncology. She seems like the type of girl who would be able to do both if she found a guy or girl or anyone in between who gave her that extra push and support to give achieve her dream.
Why would you let your 17 year old daughter, who was planning on going to college to be a nurse, drop out of high school so she could be a stay at home wife for a boy she’s known for 6 months? Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for letting your kids make their own choices. But you’re basically letting her throw out all her dreams and ambitions just to wait hand and foot for her husband for the rest of her life? What kind of mother does that
If I had told my parents when I was 17 I wanted to drop out of high school to marry my boyfriend at the time due to being pregnant, I’d have been grounded. No way would they have agreed to me dropping out, let alone getting married. They would have told me if it was true love, he could wait until I was 18. They also would have encouraged me to at least get my associates degree if not a Bachelor’s. This girl’s mom should have told her the same thing. Even with a kid involved, getting at least the diploma would have been helpful.
The only bright side of this is how loving and caring and welcoming his family seems to be, they are excited to have her in the family and seem really supportive. Now, is it great that she dropped out if high school, ditched her dreams, and conceived with and married a guy she knew for 6 months? Nope, but at least after all that her husband’s family is welcoming her in with open arms
I can see why she did that because she turned up thinking he’s gonna be perfect next thing she knows he’s there can’t even look her in the eye to busy being drunk she there in all her refinery and he’s showing her up so good on you to the cousin who stood there told her he’s a waste of space and she deserves the best so he took her away the best news yet 😇💫
I am not too familiar with these people but I’ve just watched some British travelers and gypsies, and now I am perusal the American version, and woah there is a huge difference between the two.The attitudes, the looks, everything is much more exaggerated and way more superficial. I am American but this still surprises me.
I’m from Alabama, never seen any case of incest… for Gypsies it’s a regular thing. Its normal to be with your cousins, like that’s insane to me. The age and culture is whatever, but the inbreeding…. They complain about gypsies being a dying breed, but that’s probably because their future children will have genetic problems because of the incest!
