The Alter Rebbe says that it’s best to start looking for a shidduch when you’re young. Your family probably follows this custom, so it’s not a good idea to wait too long. Seeking a shidduch at a young age is part of Torah. However, the shidduch should be one where you can learn in peace after the wedding. Many people get married this way and succeed in their Torah studies.
