How To Avoid Wedding Drama?

Wedding drama can be a significant issue during the planning process, but there are several ways to avoid it. Some tips include shortening the guest list, limiting cocktails, planning the seating chart carefully, keeping it honest, anticipating wedding drama, and not inviting the drama.

When planning your wedding, it is important to discuss who you want in your bridal party and choose a venue that accommodates everyone. Avoid drama queens by leaving friends known for their behavior out of the bridal party and seating estranged guests away from each other. Communicate any family issues to your wedding vendors, particularly your wedding planner, as they can help diffuse any tense situations on the day.

When someone in your life comes to you to unload, lend them an ear and resist the temptation to immediately write off their need to share everything that is bothering them as simple “drama.” Communicate your ideas and let others help bring them to life, as emotional vampires, hangers-on, and drama-filled people hate tactful honesty.

To avoid unnecessary guest list drama, pick your priorities, know your numbers, use clear wording, nail the timing, and think ahead. Discuss family dynamics with your partner and devise a strategy and plan of action. Plan ahead if you know there are potential issues, and confront them in advance if you feel brave enough.

Lastly, maintain a cool head and try to keep a cool head as things often get a bit stressful during the planning process. Having nuanced self-awareness is key to getting through family drama on your wedding day.

How do you avoid conflict during wedding planning?

Communication. Talk with your partner about what you want for your wedding. This is how you resolve conflicts. Listen to each other without judging or interrupting. What matters most to you? Prioritize those elements in your wedding plan. You may need to compromise. This is a partnership! One person can’t always get their way. Maybe they care more about the band than you do. Let them have it.

Make compromises. The only way to work through differences is to meet somewhere in the middle. If one person always gets their way and the other always has to give in, it can lead to resentment. Look at the things you disagree on and see if you can make a compromise. You want a big wedding, but they want an intimate affair. Could you have a private ceremony and small lunch with a few loved ones, and an “everyone’s invited” party on another day?

How to get over wedding drama?

Listen with an open heart and don’t pretend to listen when you’re really formulating your own response. Instead, try to understand why they acted the way they did.

Ask them to share more and make sure you understand them by repeating what they say. You could say, “You seem to be feeling…” or “I hear you saying…” Ask questions to understand better. Understand your friend’s situation, thoughts, and feelings. You don’t have to agree. Just understand her. When people feel understood, they often don’t need to be confronted with an issue. They’ll work through it on their own. Finally, only after you understand the situation can you find the best solution.

Celebrate these wins with a few tears of relief. You deserve it! Planning your wedding is about celebrating your love story. It’s a journey with lots of emotions, and crying is part of it. • Two of my bridesmaids (my husband’s step-sisters) missed the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. They weren’t answering their phones and I was scared that they were not even going to be there the next morning for my wedding. They arrived at the hotel the next morning and things were so frantic that we really didn’t have time to talk about anything. it wasn’t until later that night that I found out that they were in a car accident. Everyone kept it from me because they didn’t want me getting upset and worried on “my day”. Sometimes they’re really are valid reasons for these things.

  • I was 6 months away from getting married, had everything ready, had been sharing all the details with my Aunt who offered to help me. My wedding ended up being canceled because me and my fiance ended things (wont get into that)… so flash forward a year later. My Aunt is throwing a wedding for her son. It’s my freaking wedding. Everything I planned down to a T. She stole the whole idea… I still went because it’s not my cousins fault. But damn, it was hard to sit at the wedding I imagined would be mine and watch other people walk down the isle.

  • Was a bridesmaid at my good friends wedding just last weekend. While taking a group photo the photographer said “kiss”.. the bride then turned 180 degrees and kissed her mum. The photographer was like “ahhh your husband” and the rest of us erupted in laughter. I’m never going to let her live it down HHAHA.

  • My wedding was nuts. My MIL hated the choice of song I wanted to walk down the isle to so to keep her quiet I changed it to something she loved and I liked but not loved. Her sister(my husband’s aunt) tried to dictate to our photographer on how to do his job, then my MIL had screamed at us to turn down the music. We are renewing our vows next year for our 20th anniversary. Guess who’s not invited!

  • As a designer and dressmaker, a couple of months ago a friend aske me to customize one of my designs for her to wear to a wedding. She was between light blue (pastel) or aqua/tiffany (kind of that shade between green and blue) we realised that, as lovely as the light blue fabric was, in daylight and photographs it might look waaaaay to close to being white and decided that the more greenish hue was more appropriate and just as pretty. Even when the fabric WAS obviously blue neither of us wanted to take any chances, she as a guest out of respect to a friend and me as a designer who has to know a thing or two about etiquette, color perception etc IT’S NOT THAT HARD

  • As a daughter of seamstress, this is a kind of color used for bridal dress especially for women who are conscious of not being a virgin but still wants to wear white but not being a hypocrite. 😂😂😁😁 IT IS WHITE. From her own words, “peach undertone” meaning white with hint of peach. By the way, for Philippine weddings, usually godparents use white (rami, philippine piña silk, jusi etc). So when you are going to invite a Filipina as godmother, you have to remind her not to wear white.

  • If it’s a shade close to white (white, blush, cream, etc.) DONT WEAR IT TO A WEDDING!!!!! I accidentally wore the bridesmaids color for a wedding I attended (my mom was invited so I didn’t see the invitation) and was MORTIFIED. Yes the their dresses were dramatically different but I didn’t even want to have the appearance of an issue. That first guest insisting she knew etiquette after wearing that dress is hilarious.

  • Just last month my niece got married and a woman was wearing a white dress. Everyone was talking about how they wanted or felt like emptying wine on her but nobody actually did it… until I went and had a giant glass of red wine poured to the brim (I don’t drink) and the woman was dancing and so I stood in front of her and said “One should never wear white to a wedding” and I poured the glass of wine slowly in her cleveage … you should’ve seen her face 😅😅😅

  • My wedding was fcking nuts, I’ll tell you all the best moments from annoying to bat sh!t crazy. One of my crazy aunts stole of the leftover food at my wedding, she didn’t eat all day even after we offered her food (it was for everyone and self serve so you just grab it yourself) and she refused. My mother was really mad about this since she had done this before (at my holy communion and conformation) so she slashed her tires. My BIL tripped on the stairs, as he was walking up the stage to make his speech, and busted his chin open. Blood was everywhere but he insisted on still doing his speech, it was amazing and by far the best one. Afterwards he allowed people to help him but had to be rushed to the hospital, he gave us all a big hug goodbye and apologised for having to leave early. He was all fine but we didn’t hear from him until the end of the wedding which made my husband and MIL panic. I got my husband to calm down which upset his mother, she said he should be panicking and upset because his brother had just been taken to the hospital while he was here with me who was not important. My twin sister tried to blackmail her bf into proposing to her at my wedding, she kept whispering to him the whole wedding and he kept moving away from her (which was weird af, he was really in love with her). They’ve been together almost 10 years, they got together when I met my husband. My sister has been making it very clear leading up to my wedding that she is mad I’m getting married before her even though she’s been with her man longer).

  • I once went to a family wedding when I was a teenager. At the reception, and older distant relative came up to me and said “There’s a handsome boy about your age. You should ask him to dance.” I looked to where she was directing me to, looked back at her and said “Ma’am, that is my brother.” Now, my brother and I don’t look alike because we’re both adopted with different bio parents (but he’s still my BROTHER) but I didn’t bother telling that to the old woman. She looked mortified.

  • I called my wedding off a month before I was to get married cause I found out my (now ex) fiancé was cheating on me with multiple women. He got engaged to one on the same day we were supposed to get married 🤣 3 months later his new fiancée found out about us and got in touch with me. And the other women he’s cheating on HER with. She broke up with him. Now she and I are low-key friends in the making 😂

  • I feel incredibly blessed that I married a man with a lovely family. His parents treat me like I’m blood family. His mum and I send a quick goodnight message each night. My husband says he feels the same way with my parents, that they openly love him and treat him so well. I will be forever grateful that I didn’t just get the best man I could want, but we also all support and love each other with no drama.

  • My brother got married last night (the day this was posted) and luckily it was the best wedding most people had ever been to (small-35 people total). The only snag was the wrong song was played as she walked down the aisle, no one really noticed. Something always goes wrong but we took that no problem lol. So lucky, it was beautiful and exactly what they deserved after almost 10 years.

  • One of my friend’s wedding invitation specifically said “please don’t wear white.” But one of our officemates, wore WHITE!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA She was made fun by all through the party. When the announcer said the bride and groom will now cut the cake, one jokester said, hey get ready! She cried after and did not talk to some of us in the office hahahahahaa Please take note, that the invitation is big, as in big big, like an artsy type so you cant missed out on anything.

  • So my parents are divorced, but when they were still together, when me and my sisters were kids, they bought two houses next to each other together with my maternal grandmother. This worked out great for us, and I’ve always had a really close bond with my grandma because of it. But when my parents divorced over 15 years later my mom didn’t want to stay in such a big house by herself. So my dad stayed, and so did my grandma. And that actually works out great too. My mom still comes over regularly to visit her mother (and us and dad). And my dad and grandma still eat dinner together 3 times a week and my mom comes over for dinner with my grandma every friday (my dad eats dinner at grandma’s that day too). It’s really great. And my dad now lives next to his ex-mother in law so we get to bust the cliché too. 😀

  • The only wedding drama I have taken part in, really not by choice was at my sisters wedding. My nan is kind of… Well, an entitled witch. My sister decided to have a small ceremony at her own house, my nan hijacked pretty much everything. The wedding dress, the decorations, the food, how everything was set up. My sister was quite distraught the night before, so me and her now sister in law; stayed up all night and rearranged everything to how my sister wanted it. To say my nan was salty would be an understatement, she was pissed. And before anybody asked, my nan isn’t somebody you can just say no to. For reference, she threw a tantrum because she wasn’t able to park in the drive way, the grooms parents (who owned the house at that time) wanted to park in their own drive way. She ended up leaving early, over another tantrum involving not being able to light her big propane heaters, it would have burned the house down. Speaking of burning the house down, the candles she chose for decoration (floating candles that floating in oil or something) set fire to the garden three seperate times, because my nan kept relighting them. After that, my nan didn’t speak to us for a very blissful 17 months; so i guess we won in the end

  • My MIL chose her dress and wanted to show me. It was a full length, light cream, pearl encrusted dress. Yeah I’ll just say it was white and could have been a wedding dress. I took one look at it, thought “typical.” And didn’t argue with her. I think she was look for me to get upset…. I didn’t have time for her sh*t. Then on my wedding day- she walked into the room where my bridesmaids and I were hanging out- before the ceremony- and looked me right and the face, “idk if he’s going to go through with this.” I cried all the way down the aisle bc I was so relieved he was standing up there. Update: Her husband ended up *illing himself a few years later. She blamed me. We moved out of the country. Had kids. They like the money she sends. Husband talks to her a lot, but not around me bc he never knows when she’ll say something dumb.

  • This reminds me of the time when my aunt (related by marriage) wore her soon to be SIL’s wedding dress and took photos with her husband before the bride even got to wear it. The photographer was a family friend and just went with the flow. We were over at their place (they all live together) looking at the photos (which was how we found out about what she did).. My mom kept making comments to my aunt about how the bride looked so much better than her in the dress lol. The aunt somehow managed to be in almost every wedding picture (except the couples pictures).

  • I went to a wedding a few years ago and the invitations were VERY clear that they wanted EVERYONE to wear white linen. “Beach chic.” I seem to recall several people not wearing white, regardless of the couple’s request, because of superstition, lol. Babes, if my spooky all-black-wearing ass can wear white because the bride asked, you can too. It’s a few hours.

  • I attended a wedding and a woman wore a form fitting white dress. I approached her and told her white was her color…and congratulations on her pregnancy. She was not pregnant and enjoyed looking down in overweight people. The bride and groom celebrated while their Ahole friends rode the attention seeker until she left less than half an hour into the reception.

  • For precaution, let’s stay away from dresses that are off white, pale grey, soft pink or light flesh tone. Let’s also look at the dress color from a distance of 10-20 feet away before deciding if it’s too easily mistaken for white. And the lighter the color, the shorter it should be. It will also look much lighter if you’re around anyone in anything darker even if it doesn’t look white next to an actual white dress. It doesn’t have to be mini dress or something so short you’re constantly checking to make sure it’s not riding up, just not ankle or floor length is all. Not only because of getting the dress dirty but it feels less bridal and still wedding appropriate if a non-bride wears a dress that isn’t to the ankles or floor. Also, if it’s a light color, stay away from lace. Weddings are an opportunity to wear really fun dresses that are formal but can still be colorful if you aren’t a bridesmaid. Is it white? My answer: It’s white enough for me. Yes.

  • UPDATE – YES I PASSED IT GOING TO COLLEGE IN 2 MONTHS APPROX, I’M EXCITEDD (Thanks all of you, you’re so lovely people ❤️i can’t describe how much you guys calmed me when i was anxious in morning love y’all 🤭❤️) Have a huge Exam tomorrow for which I’ve been preparing for almost 2 years, Thanks Charlotte for being with me through your articles. Also thanks to all the petty potatoes reading my comment. Will update my results as I’ll become a doctor hehe ❤️😁

  • I was a bridesmaid and the color the bride picked for our dresses was ivory and even though the bride picked this color I felt so uncomfortable that I was wearing a shade so close to white. I have know some girls that wear something that resembles a wedding dress hoping to get their significant other to visualize them as a bride but I feel that is still super disrespectful to the couple getting married.

  • I did wear a white dress to a wedding but I covered it with a very colorful cardigan that was knee length too. I was friends with both bride and groom and asked if it was okay only because-i was like mega pregnant and it was the only dress I had that fit and this was a last minute “lets do this” wedding lol. They were both fine since the big cardigan was damn near rainbow colors and hid all but the very part that my belly stuck out and couldn’t be covered by by the cardigan. They didnt give a crap andcwanted me and my hubby and daughter there. None of our other friends and family said a thing. But the big dress was stark white summer dress lol. I did worry a little bit.

  • First story: it was a wedding dress. I am sure she was thinking “what can I do to make it not look like a wedding dress and still get away with it” and decided the color was all she needed to change, and yeah that can work, but she still wanted to wear a wedding dress so got the color she thought was farthest from white that still fell in the wedding dress family but was still a wedding dress.

  • I am so grateful that there was zero drama at my wedding – except between me and my mom behind the scenes. To clarify, my monthly friend showed up the day before and I was a super crabby witch – and I took it out on my mom who was just trying to be a part of the planning process. Sorry mom. I love you forever!

  • I work in a little boutique and someone came in looking for a dress to wear to a wedding. She was looking at a white dress. I asked her if she was the bride, no. I explained that she can’t wear white to a wedding unless the bride has asked her guests to. I tried to show other options while she still wanted the white one. I told her I’m trying to save her from being outed on Reddit. She did not like my help 🤦🏻‍♀️

  • A few months before my sister’s wedding I finally realized I was bisexual and didn’t tell any family members at that time, my thing could wait until after all of the wedding stuff was over. It’s not hard to let the couple have their day and if they’re immediate family you can put things on hold. She wasn’t happy about the fact that I thought I needed to stay in the closet because of her wedding and wished I hadn’t felt that way 🥹 my sister is the best

  • I never thought of my wedding as the “one day it’s all about me”. I just thought of it as the day I held the best party for relatives and friends looking top tier! Like great gatsby. If my guests are happy, I’m happy. I dont think I ever once thought about everyone focusing solely on me and my wants. Not once.

  • My sisters ex fiancé got married on the same day as her… the day she picked when she was 3 yrs old so it’s not like it was an accident, also her birthday btw. Then he asked our brother to be the best man and invited all mutual acquaintances. No surprise, everyone came to my sisters wedding. It is to this day the most fun happy awesome wedding anyone can can remember. Funny how things work out when you have a celebration based on love and friendship. ❤ It was beautiful.

  • I try to stay away from anything that could be wedding party adjacent when going to weddings, where I don’t know the bride well enough to ask her to OK my dress because I’ve already accidentally matched the bridesmaids before and it was the most embarrassing thing on the planet 😭😭 especially when people started commenting on it

  • Every time I watch this drama wedding stuff, I am amazed. My own wedding was a party with a pig on the BBQ. We had bands and all the people we knew attending. Best party ever. There were propably some agry words, but I did not know about it. 8 barrels of beer and about 60 bottles of wine and about 300 very very very drunk people. Fun time. And I did not wear white. Just a colorful pettycoat and a blouse.

  • I am 66 now and I went to a wedding with someone who was my boyfriend at the time, I was 28 and wore an ivory dress with a peach sash, I regret it to this day . I swear it was not done with malice, it was just my favorite dress . Never crossed my mind .. so to Diane who married jerry like in 1983 I apologize😊

  • Me and my brothers are single and just hung out and had fun at our parents’ weddings. The 2 weddings were night and day emotional. We couldn’t care less about our mom’s wedding. She didn’t even try to include us in anything and we didn’t really have any strong opinions on her husband. We honestly just shat-talked her the whole time in one of the back church pews. (She deserved it. She’s a piece of work and I’ve literally blocked her number since then.) While my dad and his wife made sure to include us. My dad had us as his best men and we honestly really like his wife. I feel like you always hear about crazy step moms, but mine is chill 🤷

  • Last year I went to my cousins wedding, and one of the dresses I was considering wearing was a green floral pattern over a white base. Most of it was green but I was worried that there was still enough white to be disrespectful, even though it was clearly not a wedding dress. I ended up going with a completely different color dress that I found last minute.

  • My sister-in-law picked out my mom’s dress and she picked a cream color, so I brought up how it’s too close to white. She said she doesn’t care about that rule and just wants us to look good. I told her I had to go dress shopping because the only wedding appropriate dress I have is white and once again she told me she didn’t care. She even had us in all her wedding pictures. I know not everyone will be like her but we appreciated her only caring about us looking good and being there.

  • I can totally relate to the lady near the end of the article as both me and my fiancee lost two of his family members within one month of each other also. The first relitive was his Grandmother (from a long battle with Parkinson’s Dementia and a couple of other life prohibiting conditions). The second relitive was his uncle (her son) who had serious health issues and stomach ulcers due to his Alcoholism. To top it we, or should I say I, was 6 and a half months pregnant at the time, so neither of them got to meet our daughter who is a rainbow baby as we had suffered a miscarriage 4 months into our first pregnancy. These family members were my partners rock during a very tough and personal battle with family domestic violence (mother and step-father)and psychosis.

  • When we went to my husband’s bff’s wedding I had intended to wear a nice summer dress. I didn’t think much of my choice at first but as we got closer to the wedding I started having second thoughts. It was floor length with a crochet halter top. The waist up was entirely pale beige crochet, and the skirt was cream chiffon with a pattern of flowers/leaves in sage, cranberry, and mustard. I ended up buying a new, shorter dress that was black with red and beige florals instead because I didn’t want to even get CLOSE to the line. I can’t even imagine wearing a solid colour pale dress that is floor length. Some people are wild.

  • My wedding was on a boat and a fishing competition got moved up a week so as we were going out all of the fishing boats were coming in, at least 3 people fell and half of us were sea sick 😂. Two of my guest wore white, one was floor length and lacy. The staff cut my cake and passed it out without me and my husband cutting it or getting photos. I didn’t even get a piece. My husband stepped on my dress and broke the bustle so I had to carry it the rest of the night. Even with all of that going on I had an amazing time and all of my guests two years later talk about what an awesome wedding we had. ❤

  • My wedding drama, my supposed “best” friend decided she wouldn’t be in the wedding because the dress would make her look to busty. The main problem with this is she was invited to go pick out the bridesmaid dresses, she said she couldn’t go, she had to go do something with her sister. So we all went, the other bridesmaids picked out beautiful dresses, she went to look at them and she said no. So my supposed “best” friend wasn’t in my wedding. Still makes me very sad.

  • I wore a white tea-length dress with a portrait neckline to a cousin’s wedding when I was 18. I had no idea it wasn’t the right color to wear and no one corrected me, but as I got older and found out that wearing white to a wedding was frowned upon, I made sure never to wear white to someone else’s wedding ever again!

  • I accidentally wore a peach with little flowers on a cute summer dress. This was about 20 years ago to my cousins wedding,🤗 I had no idea it looked too light in the bright sun.😱😇 I had no idea it would be a problem and felt awful, it wasn’t looking like a formal dress at all though. To be fair, most of my closet looked like I was going to a funeral🤣😂, so this was the best last minute dress I had . My cousin said you have flowers all over this dress, yes it did, lol !

  • For the two women who did this at the first wedding, you almost hope that this happens at their weddings. The fact is that they knew exactly what they were doing and made the choice to do it anyway. I went to 2 weddings for people I hated. I hated them because they screwed both me and my company over and didn’t even care. So, for their weddings I broke certain wedding clothing rules with what I wore. But I had enough class and self-respect to at least not wear white. What made one of them extra funny is that my parents didn’t like one of the brides either and knew exactly what she had done, and were completely supportive of what I had done.

  • My husband’s Auntie wore white to our wedding. She also tried to get her granddaughter invited to the wedding 2 days before the big day. We of course told her no, as numbers were finalised and we have never met her (I had only met the Auntie once before). They went over our heads and brought the granddaughter to the reception. Not a fan of her now haha 🎉

  • Hi Charlotte, hearing all these wedding stories gone wrong does that make you want to have a small wedding? If I could do it all over again I would have a small wedding with only 1 best man and 1 maid of honour. Too many in the wedding party can cause drama in my opinion. Oh! And one of the groomsmen in my wedding party proposed 3 weeks after I got engaged and I still kept him in my wedding. My petty ass did not want his fiancé around the rehearsal dinner. Lol so yeah there can be drama!

  • The only wedding day drama that i was at happened almost 50 years ago at a cousin’s wedding reception where two guys got into a knock down dragged out fistfight at the reception. Don’t know what the fight was about or what started it, but a couple of tables got knocked over during the fight! The only thing that would have topped that would have been if they had knocked over the wedding cake!

  • I just wanna know how much a lawyer is going to laugh at the sight of a case that is basically “I wanted to wear a dress that is close to white but not white and someone was mean to me in social media by pointing out that you don’t wear that color WAAAAAAAAH!” Unless the bride is ok with it, which most of the time will not, don’t wear anything close to white.

  • My wedding nightmare. We asked the caterers to not put the wedding cake out with the buffet, and that I wasn’t religious so no saying grace. Well just b4 I was about to tuck into the food she started saying grace, she also put the cake out 2ith the buffet. I never got to have a slice of my own wedding cake

  • The cheating groom with the mom reminds me of a story I know here.. So a couple just got married, and a week later the girl felt suspicious of her husband behavior and ask some help around to look after his doings, then she got a call from her friends that they need to show her something… They bring her to a motel.. AND FOUND HER HUSBAND AND HER MOM WAS DOING THE DIRTY LIKE WTF… it was a mess, and the girl went back to her house alongside her friends and she called her dad to come over… And she slowly tell her dad what happened.. It was so sad to see what just happened.. Her husband cheated on her, her mom betrayed her, and her dad was broken heart alongside her… The two shameless people came to beg for forgiveness and said it was just because of lust that they accidentally did s*x … The girl and her father didn’t believe it and proceeded to get a divorce papers ready.. AND NEXT MONTH SHE HEARD HER MOM WAS PREGNANT WITH HER TO BE EX HUSBAND BABY it was so messed up, but that’s made her divorce proceedings got easier..

  • At my besties wedding, the Dj assistant would NOT let me dance with my bestest friend. At all. 4 different times she directed me back to the crowd and actually put her hands on me to direct me away. I didn’t say a word to Nikki because I didn’t want her to worry about it. But it hurt her feelings more that she didn’t get a single picture of us together. Not one. And there was only one photo of me and it was me in the background. I wish I would’ve said something though, because she called me 3 days later crying and telling me how much it hurt her feelings. I thought I was doing well by not bothering her about it and letting her have a care free day. I think it all depends on who the person is and who you are to them.

  • Every shop that sells bridal cloths or supplies should carry sashes (like, county fair queen, ribbon sashes) that say, “NOT THE BRIDE”. Anyone wearing white can be “sashed” as they enter the wedding, told the bride requested this be done, and they can wear the sash or leave. If these are displayed at the shower and rehearsal word will get out. I think neon colors would be best.

  • I was thinkint about the one wedding I’ve gone to and panicked thinking I might have worn white. Then realized I got it mixed up with what I wore to a 50th anniversary dinner that was held in the same place (same family and I think the same year). It was a dress with a white top, black skirt, and a black jacket over it.

  • My aunt passed the week of my cousin’s wedding. We buried on Monday and the wedding was on Saturday. Prior to that, my other aunt died in accident on the day of her bridal shower (she was on the way) so all the food we had bought to be used at the party was used at my aunt’s funeral. The week after her wedding, my other aunt passed on after a short illness and my cousin only got to go on her honeymoon three weeks later. Fun times. 😪

  • My wife is a wedding planner, at least twice a year she has this problem happen to her clients. Once they had to ask the girl to change because the bride refused to participate in the wedding because she was so upset. She started to remind her clients to let the guests who are attending to be informed if that bothers them during the consultation sessions.
