No ads or distractions. The Wraith won’t go into a ghost form, but Yrden is good to have around. One more thing about the healing mechanic. The Wraith will rush toward a painting as soon as it activates. You can usually be faster, but be careful because the boss will be ready to attack when you heal.
Is it better to take the rose from iris?

FOR ANYONE HAVING DIFFICULTY ON DEATH MARCH NG+: Ensure you have Lightning Reflexes upgraded fully which is located in the Red Tree under crossbow. If you don’t have this, there is a short time while the lights are out that you can quickly obtain it. Whenever the wraith goes up in the air to initiate healing, instantly pull out your crossbow. With Lightning reflexes 3 time should be slowed before the painting is even green. Just shoot the painting with the crossbow afterwards.
i played the intire story on blood and broken bones and even fuckin Eredin was not as hard as this bullshit wraith is it just heals to fuckin fast for me to do anything so i put just the story mode because i got really pissed and was considering breaking everything in my house and it still healed to fast maybe its because im playing NG+ but nothing else has been this hard i really dont know what to do.
Your strategy is sound, but it simply doesn’t work. The devs have seen it fit to NEVER allow Geralt to face the paintings. EVER. He ALWAYS faces the wraith, regardless of the player’s command inputs, and regardless of the lock-on status. It’s one of the seriously stupid, boneheaded design flaws of an otherwise excellent game, in that the GAME determines when it’s time to fight, NOT the player. I honestly don’t know how you made him look the proper way as I’ve NEVER been able to do that. They also seem to have allowed the wraith to steal adrenaline, so when it comes time to destroy a painting using a sign, you can’t because you’re missing adrenaline, your signs don’t work, and the only way to get any back is to either wait, exit combat (not possible), or wail away on the enemy, which allows the wraith to steal even more adrenaline. Stupid design and wholly contrary to the core tenet of a witcher being prepared BEFORE going into any dangerous situation. Very poorly thought out and badly implemented fight considering the poor implementation of combat that this engine struggles with.
Best way to do it is so a 4 combo hit with the light attack scoot backwards once and keep doing that the first time she goes to get health throw a moon dust bomb at her then go destroy the picture then just keep doing that also use queen and specter oil you only get so many hits so make sure to watch the count and reapply ASAP and watch your sword too for damage just killed her under 5 mins on hard
