I feel I’ve exhausted all strategies and no matter what I just feel like you see the makeup sitting on my skin instead of improving the look of my skin. To be fair – I’M very fair. Usually I have to go the lightest shade of any product range and still it might be obviously a different shade than my range. But you get my point I’m sure.   • I think that as a pro MUA you make the whole makeup work. However I think that most people struggle with color correcting and concealing properly around the eye area in the first place, so in case of puffy extra red eyes, the heavy emphasis on the eyes could be dicey and end up looking like Haunted House galore pretty fast… For most people I’d stop at 20:45, put on some mascara and a bold true red or coral red lip and call it a day. ❤

  • If you need to de-puff swollen eyes fast, put metal spoons in the freezer for a couple of minutes, hide in your shower and run the cold, smooth side of the spoon over your swollen, hot eyes. It feels great and is almost meditative. I’m a crier so, yeah, it works and helps me get my proverbial sh*t together. 😢
