How old is Sarah in The Perfect Marriage?

Sarah Morgan is a 33-year-old defense attorney in Washington, D.C. She’s a partner at her firm and life is going well. Adam isn’t doing well. He’s a struggling writer. I don’t get the hype. The writing is poor and there are plot holes. Everything is obvious, yet also ridiculous, and people act moronic for no reason. Everyone is awful. Adam is a misogynistic alpha male who tried to make himself look guilty. Sarah has to say “bitch” to herself whenever another woman in the room doesn’t kiss her ass. The police investigation is ridiculous. They should have accounted for the anomalies in the evidence. Sarah, a lawyer, gets more facts on this case than the police do by talking to the victims’ colleague.

What happens in the book The Perfect Marriage?

Aug 14-16: Sarah Morgan is a successful defense attorney in Washington, D.C. As a partner at her firm, she’s living her dream. Adam isn’t doing well either. He’s a struggling writer who’s had little success. He tires of his and Sarah’s relationship because she’s always working. Adam has a passionate affair with Kelly Summers at the couples’ lake house. But one morning, everything changes. Kelly is killed, and Sarah must defend her husband, who is accused of murdering his mistress. The Perfect Marriage is a thrilling read that will keep you up all night.

Review: I couldn’t put this book down. Sarah is a lawyer married to a writer. Their marriage isn’t happy. Sarah is the breadwinner and Adam is still trying to become a writer. He has an affair with Kelly, who is married to an abusive cop. Adam comes back from the lakehouse and decides to leave Sarah until she’s ready for a baby. But then things change. Adam is accused of killing his mistress, and Sarah is his lawyer. We learn the mistress was pregnant. The sheriff was very suspicious. He was nice to Sarah one minute and mean the next. I was trying to figure out who killed Kelly. Was it her husband or Adam? Anne, Sarah’s assistant, took photos of Adam cheating but didn’t tell Sarah. Then there’s Bob, Kelly’s first husband’s brother. They got the third DNA from Kelly’s autopsy. It was the sheriff. 11 years later, Adam is about to be executed. Sarah visits him for the last time. Sarah and Bob killed Kelly and framed Adam. I didn’t see that coming. The characters were shallow and not very likeable, but I still recommend the book.

Quote: Eyes tell the truth. They show the truth we can’t or won’t say.

What age is The Perfect Marriage for?

What age is The Perfect Marriage for?

The Institute for Family Studies research was conducted by Nicholas H. Wolfinger, a professor at the University of Utah. Even after adjusting the NSFG data for demographics and social factors, Wolfinger found the trend remained consistent. For almost everyone, the late 20s is the best time to marry. Wolfinger’s data only tracks first marriages to age 45, so later marriages may be safer. Our longer lives mean new possibilities and dangers for marriages. But a person’s general temperament may also affect this. “People who wait until their 30s to get married may not do well in marriage,” he says. “So they wait to get married, often because no one wants to marry them.” This link between genetics and divorce has been described by others too. “When they get married, their marriages are at high risk for divorce,” says Wolfinger.

  • I HATED this book. Probably the worst book I’ve read in years. She was a marketing professional before becoming a “writer” and leveraged TikTok to get a viral buzz around her book. Then she made up a controversy with a person who supposedly emailed her as a “hater,” made a bunch of articles reading his emails and got a bunch more to buy the book just despite this person. People love to hate on a hater! I swear anyone who liked this book is not an avid reader, nor do they even know what good writing is. This book had so many problems and yes, the ending made absolutely no sense! DNF and threw the book at the wall as soon as reached the “twist.” I hate having my time wasted like that.
