Kourtney is completely justified in the way she feels. Being with somebody who cheated on you and had a drinking problem would push anyone away. However I’m extremely proud of Scott’s growth. He loves his kids like crazy and let’s be honest. He’s hilarious and has made us laugh so many times over the years. Just own up that you made a mistake and that you learned from it don’t blame it on your youth. *It’s not a matter of whether women mature faster than men. It’s the fact that her mom knows that she doesn’t have any substance abuse or any infidelity that Kris is aware of. On top of that her daughter created this great business and this doing well. I don’t think it’s so much Kourtney that he wishes he we’re with, it’s his fear of losing the family- the only family he has got. Unfortunately being an only child, and he says he has no aunts and uncles, once his parents died, he had no other family. I love how the family stays close to him and vice verse. He’s a very patient and kind hearted. I hope it stays this way outside of their obligatory get togethers for the cameras, i think that’s what a fear of his was. A valid fear also.

People tend to hold resentment and define people by the wrong they do and not the right while at the same time not recognising their own shortcomings. Scott seems so detached here. It’s very unsettling. When you compare the interview they did with Ryan 3 years ago to this one he doesn’t even seem like the same person. It’s very sad because I think Kourtney is the only woman he will ever love and want to change for, but failed too many times for her to go back. Now that he knows the door is shut and sees how in love with Travis she is, it’s like he’s giving up. I wish he could’ve been better for her permanently because I love them together, but I think Travis is really showing her what she’s worth, Kourts finally realizing what she truly deserves in a relationship. I can understand kourt.. I had a past relationship of the sane time.. Was too invested in it.. Got to know he had cheated multiple times while being drunk.. At first he was like sorry, after some time he didn’t bother.. My heart literally turned cold everytime i smelled a female perfume, he would return home out of his mind.. Lipstick marks and what not.. I finally cut him off, took me 3 years.. And we don’t even have kids.. I moved to NY. The guy came following back, asking me to take him back and he did change.. But i just was too exhausted and I also have this really good memory, so I just could not find it in me to forgive him..
What breaks my heart about the last couple seasons of the show, is that you could see how much Scott was trying to show Kourt how much he has changed and Kourtney completely shut her heart out to him. I understand completely why she did it in the beginning because yes Scott had his issues and from what I saw, didn’t really treat her well especially in the early seasons. But as I watched the show and like I said especially in the last few years even when he was with Sophia, that he was trying to prove to her that he was a different man. I loved the way they were getting along with each other and coparenting swimmingly. I was really rooting for them in the last 2 seasons because at that time I could really see them being together at the end. People have said this already and I agree. Kourtney will always be “the one that got away” to Scott and I think he’ll always be in some way pining for her because he truly loves her. You can tell how much he does. I think Kourtney will always love Scott but isn’t in love with him sadly. You could see the pain in his eyes when they were talking about in another clip about her and Travis . But what are you gonna do ? Scott and Kourtney were together for I believe 10 years. When you’re together for that long, and you have kids, the love you have for that person doesn’t just disappear like that. But we’ll never know I guess.
Scott- if you ever read this. I know it’s hard not having Your parents or any siblings, but you have to recognize you’ve build your own family now- with your 3 children. They’ll grow up to be adults you consider your friends. Don’t date people that are broken and younger than you, it’s time to date a very strong, mature woman who will make your family complete and bring out that side of you that you very much have. Also how Scott handled fame is like a lot of celebrities that are young and without guide ness. I think out of all the people that they date Kourtney and Scott are really good together. As somebody who just celebrated 9 years a recovery and non substance using and also in school for to be a counselor I wish people would realize that substance abuse is only a symptom of a deeper disease a mental disease it has nothing to do with drugs and alcohol nobody is a drug addict or an alcoholic they have the disease and a behavior and chemical imbalance of addiction the disease of addiction sub substance use and abuse is only a a symptom is a lot deeper substance use is not the disease of addiction!
