  • There’s arguments on both sides. Reality is, it’s become a contract that is too much of a gamble for hard working men that can easily lose most of what they have in a lump sum and for years after. And it can be over petty differences. Integrity has taken a fall with two broken hips it seems. Women get into the marriage and know they have so much leverage that they don’t put the effort into creating happiness and at the same time have super high expectations and if that’s not the case they’ll easily leave and take the max in court. I know both parties have to work on the relationship but the odds are stacked against the man from day one and that’s a fact. It’s just not an attractive prospect. Everything is so ” fast food” these days anyway and it’s the same attitude that goes into relationships. Until the scales are balanced, marriage will continue to decline. We have one life to live. Building back up a life after a bad divorce is very hard to overcome and a daunting thought in a world already hard to thrive in. It can work sometimes. Gotta be very much on the same page on key issues though.
