📹 How NOT to Look Like A Tourist While Traveling To Europe This Summer
Sharing my top 10 tips to help you fit in and look less like a tourist when traveling in Europe this summer. I’ll show you what NOT to …
Hi Lydia, great article, as always. I wonder since we’re getting into fall now here in NYC, if you could do an “essential autumn shoe” article. It’s not just about boots, right? Also, what’s your opinion about chocolate brown mixing in with all the neutrals you style…I love neutrals but chocolate brown can be rich. Just don’t know how to style it with neutrals. I need you! Thanks.
Loved the article and the outfits. My only comment would be that when you were self-filming the outfits most of the time the whole outfit was not visible in the frame (thus the up-down panning). I understand that must be because of the location (being on holiday, it can’t be easy to find the perfect setup). However I personally like to take screenshots of the outfits for future reference/inspiration, so it’s super helpful if the whole outfit is visible in the frame <3
Fun! Lots of stylish outfits here, Lydia, although I am not sure they exactly fit the vibe of the south of France. Women there wear sandals by K. Jacques or La Tropezienne, or classic espadrilles. Do French women ever wear trainers on the street? Don’t think so. Dresses, mainly white linen, are de rigour. in the summer into fall. Maybe intersperse your choices with what others where there, not tourists, who are easy to spot because of their attire. I hope you had a nice trip.
First of all, let me say you always look super-stylish, I’ve been a subbie for a while now. However, despite you promoting your looks as ‘effortless’, I actually think it makes you look older than you are sometimes. If someone were to tell me you were 40, I”d believe them, in terms of the way you dress. I think it’s the make-up, heavy jewellery and hair perfection that makes you seem less youthful, albeit chic. Don’t miss out on the fun, relaxed fashion you can website in your 20s and 30s (I’m thinking Lucy Williams et al), you’ve plenty of time ahead of you to look super-polished and ‘done’.
