Overwatch 2 has announced its continuation of limited-time Seasonal Events in 2022 with the introduction of a new Halloween event, Wrath of the Bride. The event will begin on October 25, 2023, with the new co-op mission Junkenstein’s Revenge: Wrath of the Bride and a handful of new skins and bundles for Kiriko and Junker Queen. The event will run from October 25 to November 8, with the titular bride (aka Sombra) being the focus.
The event is a co-operative brawl that takes place in the fictional land of Adlersbrunn, and will run until November 8, a week before Halloween. The event will also introduce spooky new skins and bundles to the Overwatch Shop.
Wrath is defined as “the emotional response to perceived wrong and injustice,” often translated as “anger,” “indignation,” “vexation,” or “irritation.” Both humans and God express wrath.
Overwatch 2 has posted a new trailer and blog update for the Halloween event, Junkenstein’s Revenge: Wrath of the Bride, which includes a free legendary Cursed Captain Reaper skin and Health Pack weapon charm. The event is based on the biblical story of the bride and the Lord, who are forever together after Christ’s coming.

I think people aren’t utilizing the environment and high ground enough. There’s high ground for literally every boss which is easily accessible to 3 of the heroes. Kiriko should take the high ground to have a clear vantage point of every ally and be out of harm’s way. Junker Queen has decent enough survivability to brawl with the bosses and get sustained by the hordes especially if Kiriko is providing heals to her. Ashe and Sojourn both have long-range damage and can access all of the high ground, also AOE abilities to control grouped-up enemies. When Sigma appears you can literally run out of the castle so he can’t corner you out in the open, but everyone runs to the narrow corridor with all the Zomnics. In the final area, there’s a ledge across from where you enter that Kiriko, Ashe, and Sojourn can stay on to avoid damage and provide cover to Junker Queen and literally only have to come down to evade the Sigma Ghost.
The other tip I’d recommend particularly for Legendary mode against the Winstons and Winston + Sym is pay attention to your positioning around shields. It’s so obvious but Kiriko can’t heal through shields. Words cannot express how annoyed I was getting with my teammates who’d mash ‘I need healing’ while running away from me through shields, how do people still not realize that shields can block heals too :/
