Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann, the lead couple in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, have a complex love story that began in 2003 with James Norrington’s film, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. Elizabeth Turner, the daughter of Governor Weatherby Swann, was fascinated by the freewheeling world of buccaneers and learned a song about pirates as a child. She eventually blossomed into a beautiful young lady, but her love story was not straightforward.
Will Turner, born as the son of Bootstrap Bill Turner, was humble and selfless, sailing the seas to save his father and find his true love, Elizabeth Swann. Their arc continued in the 2003 film Dead Man’s Chest, where they were around 21-22 years old. In At Worlds End, they were around 21-22 years old, and a post-credits scene showed Elizabeth and their son, Henry.
The couple faced numerous challenges and squalls in their relationship, but Will valiantly rescued his love and stood by his side when he was imprisoned. The marriage was the official union of two people, and Elizabeth Turner, known as Elizabeth Turner, later married Will Turner in At Worlds End.

Will Elizabeth marry Potc?
After successfully rescuing Jack Sparrow, the Black Pearl escaped from the Locker, but not before Elizabeth discovered her fathers death at the hands of Cutler Beckett. Elizabeth then joined the desperate quest to gather the nine Pirate Lords of the Brethren Court, their only hope to hold back the fearsome tide of Beckett, who gained control of Davy Jones and the Flying Dutchman. Prior to the conclave, Elizabeth was guest aboard the Empress, the flagship of Sao Feng, who believed Elizabeth to be the capricious sea goddess Calypso imprisoned in human form. Having fell to the Flying Dutchman, Feng passed on the title of Pirate Lord and his Piece of Eight to Elizabeth before his death. During the meeting of the Pirate Lords, Elizabeth became the new King of the Brethren Court.
During the final battle against Becketts Armada, Will and Elizabeth were married. Shortly after Davy Jones stabbed Will Turner, Will himself pierced Jones heart, thereby becoming the new captain of the Flying Dutchman. After the pirates victory, Will and Elizabeth spent one day with each other, during which time they conceived a child. Before Will left to serve aboard the Dutchman for ten years, Elizabeth promised to keep his heart, now locked in the Dead Mans Chest, safe.
Years later, her son destroyed the Trident of Poseidon which broke all the curses of the sea. This freed Will from the Dutchman and she would be reunited with her husband.

Is Elizabeth in love with Sparrow?
It was clear from the beginning that Elizabeth Swann and Jack Sparrow have this strange chemistry. She tried to lure him into thinking that she fancies the pirate, which turned out to be just a part of her cunning plan.
Their relationship is indeed platonic (more like chaotic) even after she let him kiss her. After all the adventures that they have been through, both of them are still willing to sacrifice one another to save themselves. A classic example would be Elizabeth cuffing Jack Sparrow to the ship as a sacrifice to the Kraken.
Tia Dalma, or Calypso, is the sea goddess that sailors both loved and feared. It was implied that she and Jack Sparrow shared a romantic history due to her willingness to help out seafarers.
Although they did not totally brush through their short-lived past, Tia Dalma and Jack have no plans of rekindling their long-extinguished lovers flame. She, however, still show quite the amicable affection by accepting favors from the rogue pirate.
What episode does Elizabeth get married?
Elizabeth Thatcher and Jack Thorntons Wedding (S5E5). This is clearly the wedding weve all been waiting for. The highlight of Elizabeth and Jacks relationship, which has kept us on our toes since the first episode. And frankly, those two played with our nerves. The proposal was rushed because Jack realized that he was overstepping a bit and asking a lot from Elizabeth. He will leave directly to the battlefield the evening of the engagement and will be missing until the end of season 4. Several episodes of season 5 and long preparations will be necessary before the big day. But whereas the two people concerned understand that all the residents of Hope Valley are invested in their marriage, they feel the pressure and decide to elope. They eventually give up, realizing that everybody would be too hurt. Then, as the writers like to drive us crazy, the day before, the kids set fire to the church. All the decorations go up in smoke, the church is ruined as well as Elizabeths wedding dress. But once again, Hope Valleys community stands together. Together with the family of the bride and groom, they go above and beyond and put everything back in order, led by Rosemary and Abigail. Dottie offers fabric from her dress shop and the women spend the whole night making a new dress. Unlikely but well, I will turn a blind eye to it…I liked that the children very present in the life of Elizabeth are also an important part of her wedding. I also forgive Bill who gave me a rush of anxiety to be missing while he was in charge of the rings and the ceremony was starting. The ceremony is in the end quite simple and discreet like the two characters, besides Elizabeths extravagant dress, but she is still the main character so its OK. As for the exchanged vows, I have tears as soon as I replay the scene. They are just perfect. So perfect and powerful, they almost sound like a goodbye.
Elizabeth, I choose you and no other. Your happiness is the only question I want to spend my life answering. Your heart is the only flame I will endeavor to keep alight. Before you said yes to marrying me, Iwas already yours in every way. So Im marrying you today without hesitation or doubt. Im committed to you absolutely. I love you with everything that I am forever.
Jack, I never expected to find love when I came to Coal Valley, but somewhere along the way, without even realizing it was happening, you became the most important person in my life. Youre my shoulder to cry, my favorite to dream with, and my greatest surprise. Id offer you my heart, but the truth is, youve had it for quite some time now. So instead, I may give you my soul. I love you, Jack Thorton. From chalk dust to eternity, Im yours.

Later, they profess their love for each other. In the second film, Elizabeth leaves Sparrow for dead to the Kraken and then Turner believes Swann loves Jack instead, causing a strain in their relationship. He even betrayed them twice in At Worlds End, causing Elizabeth to dis like him even more. However they reconcile by the time of the Battle of Calypsos Maelstrom and marry in the midst of battles.
After Will was killed by Jack Sparrows archenemy, Davy Jones, Elizabeth cried fearing he would be dead for good until Will was revealed to be alive after Jack saved Will from dying. They later have a son named William too.

Lord Robert Dudley, Earl of Leicester. The Queen seriously considered marriage twice. Early in her reign, her choice was the ambitious and dashing Lord Robert Dudley.
Robert Dudley was one of Elizabeths ‘favourites, a long-term suitor and believed by many to have been her one true love. Do William and Elizabeth end up together?
In The Curse of the Black Pearl, Elizabeth was taken hostage by Captain Barbossa and the crew of the Black Pearl. Elizabeths betrothed, Commodore Norrington, set out to save her. However, he was too late. The heroes of the original Pirates of the Caribbean movie, including the resilient Elizabeth, had already defeated Barbossa and his zombie pirates. Jack Sparrow escaped the gallows when the trio returned to shore, and Norrington glumly accepted that he had been bested in the quest for Elizabeths affections by the humble blacksmith Will. All seemed well in The Curse of the Black Pearls ending as Elizabeth and Will were left happily together.
However, 2006s Dead Mans Chest proved that Will and Elizabeths love story, and its attendant trials and tribulations, was only just beginning. Will and Elizabeth prepared to wed when they were arrested for their part in Jacks escape. Will was allowed to leave in exchange for finding Jacks magic compass and bringing it to the East India Company, the Pirates of the Caribbean franchises real-life villains. This was where things grew convoluted, as Elizabeth soon escaped to Tortuga in search of Will but instead ended up working with Jack to save Will from Davy Jones. Like his father, Bootstrap Bill, Will was trapped on Joness ship, the Flying Dutchman.
This led to a battle between Jacks crew and Davy Jones wherein Joness pet Kraken tore apart Jacks boat. Although she felt guilty about it, Elizabeth tricked Jack into sacrificing himself to the Kraken by kissing him to distract him. This misled Will, who witnessed the kiss but not the preceding plan, into thinking that Elizabeth had feelings for Will. Ironically, Elizabeth only sacrificed Jack to save Will and the rest of the crew, but she ended up feeling so guilty that she asked Tia Dalma to raise Barbossa from the dead so that the crew could rescue Jack from death.

As a most well-known female writer in the history of English literature, was born in Steventon on December 16, 1775. And she lived peacefully in a small social circle all her life. She was the youngest of seven children in her family. She received most of her education at home. Her family are all fond of reading books, which influenced her very much. Her reading extended little beyond the literature of the 18th century, and within that period she admired Dr. Johnson particularly. Later she was delighted with both the poetry and prose of Scott, she died on July 18th 1817 and she never married. Austen was buried in the cathedral in Winchester (Kaplan, 1994).
In all her novels, the love affairs and marriages of young people, though serious and sympathetic, is subdued by humor to the ordinary way of narration, in which most of us live. She was the founder of the novel which deals with unimportant middleclass people and of which there are many fine examples in latter English fictions. Her style is easy and effortless. In these novels, the life of the gentry, landowners, and clergy of the late 18th century and the early 19th century is shown in detail.

Extremely underrated movie and I can’t find the reason. It’s the masterpiece of the series! An amazing epic masterpiece from the beginning till the end! Everything in this movie is perfect, with the biggest of them, the feeling and the respect it makes you feel by its ending, with the climax of the most beautiful and special love story. A big part of the emotions of this movie is because of the masterpiece music by Hans Zimmer and it’s just shame that he never got any price about it. The movie is as great as its soundtrack! It’s the greatest climax of a beloved story and it’s really impossible to watch something more epic and poetical after this! It’s one of my favourite movies ever and beyond the spectacular finale, the whole movie is magnificent, making you feel connected with the characters even more as the previous movies also did, because a basic characteristic of the POTC movies, is that you feel their adventures like you are there with them, here all the scenes are amazing and they have something to tell, with very special scenes, even they feel weird in the first view, like the entire crew of Jack Sparrows which is an intelligent scene. Even some deleted scenes had something to say and I wouldn’t have any problem to be in the movie too. What scenes to remember? Up is down? Elizabeth’s Speech (Hoist the Colors)? Every battle and especially the final one, the greatest In the movie history, with continuing the plot in the meantime? Every single dialogue between the characters?
This is exactly the type of stuff I watch movies for. To watch two lovers who’ve been at odds with each other the entire film decide to put it all behind them cause one or both of them could very well die at any moment and get married – something they truly should have done years ago – in the midst of a battle during a storm in the middle of the ocean that created a completely unrealistically-sized maelstrom, saying their vows while sword-fighting against the British Royal Navy and a whole crew of fish people as one does, meanwhile the captain who’s officiating can’t get the official words right because he’s gutting people in the middle of the ceremony but since he’s a captain, the wedding is still perfectly legal. Brilliant use of the film medium. You could not pull this off this well on stage or in a book… Outstanding.
