Before Will left to serve aboard the Dutchman for ten years, Elizabeth promised to keep his heart, now locked in the Dead Mans Chest, safe.

The ceremony is in the end quite simple and discreet like the two characters, besides Elizabeths extravagant dress, but she is still the main character so its OK.
