Did Mary and Francis have a child?

The series was produced by Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios, in association with Joyful Girl Productions, Take 5 Productions, and Whizbang Films. In February 2013, The CW ordered a pilot for a TV series based on Mary Stuart’s life. It was mostly fiction, not history. Kane was cast in the lead role that same month. Filming took place in Toronto and Ireland.

She is quickly returned to the castle, where we learn she is awaiting her marriage to fifteen-year-old Crown Prince Francis. They have been engaged since they were six. Mary has to deal with changing politics and Francis’s half-brother, Bash, who is also her romantic interest. Francis’s mother, Catherine de Medici, tries to stop the marriage because Nostradamus said it would kill Francis. The series also follows the affairs of Mary’s Scottish handmaidens Lady Kenna Livingston, Lady Aylee Seton, Lady Lola Fleming, and Lady Greer Norwood (based on the Four Lady Marys), who are searching for husbands at French Court. The second season opens after King Henry II dies and follows Francis and Mary as King and Queen of France and Scotland. They have to balance their marriage with their roles as monarchs, deal with religious conflict, and deal with the ambitions of the rival House of Bourbon for the throne of France.

In a world where women’s roles are defined by their relationships, the women of Reign often find themselves trapped. We don’t know what happens to Kenna in Reign, but we hope she’s OK. King Henry only appears in the first season of the series. He only appears in visions, dreams, and flashbacks. Henry makes a lasting impression on the show. He makes many relationships happen because he wants to control everyone in the castle.

What happened to Kenna in Reign season 1 episode 7?
The ladies comfort Kenna, who was beaten by one of the count’s men. Francis takes her to the infirmary. The ladies leave after them. Mary asks Catherine why she saved her. Catherine says it’s because Mary risked her life for her son, but Mary knows that’s not the real reason. The Pope didn’t save Catherine in time. She saved Mary because it was like what she went through. Catherine says the first thing she learned is not to wait for a man to save her. She implies she was raped.

The next morning, Bash strolls with his mother outside and says she helped Count Vincent seize the castle. If Francis and his brothers were killed, Bash would be the only one left to take over. The Vatican would make him a prince and let him marry Mary. Diane admits to her role.

This whole, Lola scheming and revenge plotline pisses me off you know why? Imagine being a queen, or some politician or leader…(whatever is it is your imagination) someone you recently opened up to and consider as somehow friend, tries to assassinate you, in front of like your entire court or subjects. you as expected and normally, order their execution(or punishment) even thought in such a circumstances, the court really doesn’t wait for your order, since the crime is obvious and everyone have witnessed and it’s no secret what that assassin’s fate is going to be! and after that, you be viewed as the villain of the story, even though your rivals pretty much hanged so many people for doing the very same thing, which the person who tried to kill you did. like they had right, but you don’t! only you should be the target of revenge and…even thought that order wasn’t your fault at all. beside being agonizingly inaccurate and unrealistic and problematic plots, Reign and its fans have given a whole new meaning to this word “Victim blaming”
