Dominique Sachse, a former news anchor and YouTube star, announced on her YouTube channel that she and her husband Nick Florescu are getting a divorce. The couple met in 2012 and got married three months after they met. Despite rumors of a possible divorce, they were still together and doing well. Nick Florescu usually doesn’t talk about his private life. They will celebrate their eighth wedding anniversary on May 19 and a total of 10 years together.
Sachse has been open about her life behind the camera, having one son named Styles Credeur. There were numerous warning signs leading up to the divorce, including Nick’s controlling behavior, verbal abuse, and infidelity. She also noticed a pattern of escalating violence in their relationship. Despite these warning signs, she stayed in the marriage for the sake of her children.
In a recent YouTube post, Sachse announced that she and Nick Florescu are getting a divorce. She has since returned to “Houston Life” for a candid conversation about the new chapter in her life. She is now a twice-divorced soon-to-be empty nester, living in an apartment with apparently nothing going on except yoga twice a week.

Did you move from Houston to Dallas because the Astros are bad and you wanted to root for a good baseball team? Hey, you are not going to trash my Astros. Sorry. And my Texans.
I know your name is pronounced differently, but please tell me you bought a house in Sachse. It’s Sachse, Texas, and my name is Socks. When I worked at KPRC in Houston, I got a Sachse Fire Department badge in the mail. Someone from the department wrote me a note and asked if I had relatives in Sachse because it was populated by German immigrants. My father was from Hamburg. He said no Sachses went to Sachse. I live in the Mid-Cities because I want to be close to work. I have to be here early. I’m renting a townhouse now and want to buy, but don’t know where. I’m learning about the neighborhood.

What happened to Dominique Sachse’s mother?
This week, Dominique Sachse’s mother, Audrey Toll, died five days after a heart attack. She was put in a coma. Anyone who knows Dominique knows how much fun they had together and how much they loved one another. My heart goes out to Dominique. She’s devastated. Audrey’s positive outlook should remind us to enjoy the good things in life and let go of what doesn’t serve us. Eight weeks ago, when I interviewed Dominique for my Ageless Style post, she said something that has stayed with me. It was like a sign of things to come.

Why is everyone shocked . She is an only child from parents that were only children . She lived with a very small family and then married a guy with 5 kids when she is used to a somewhat quiet atmosphere. Can anyone else think of all the things that could go wrong . But all and all they seemed like a nice big family .
Dominique you will be better than ever the more I see this more I realize that your ex husband never really knew how to love anybody but himself he’s going to continue to marry divorce Marie divorce because he doesn’t know what else to do you are so much better off and there is someone out there for you that will appreciate you and treat you like the queen that you are thank God that you were given the strength and abilities that you have your beautiful beautiful lady and I wish you nothing but the best happiness and good health
This is a tip for women who have been married more than 15 years. You must be committed to living a vivacious life. A lot of older women are consumed within their marriages. I see it daily with my aunties and the older women in my family. Men will hate you the more they see you. Let me say that again. Men will hate you the more they see you. If you don’t learn to dance within your marriage it is going to crash and burn. Have space within your marriage. Stop trying to be wife of the year or mother of the year. You need to be woman of the year. Put 80% into yourself and 20% into him, Men do not need love and attention. They need pain. So stop texting and calling him all day. Stop asking him a thousand questions. Go and blossom on your own. Get to the gym. Make some new friends. Book a flight and travel on your ownn
Hi Dominique, I haven’t read any of the comments, so I apologize in advance if I am repeating what others have shared. I love perusal your articles. There is something about you that drew me in, and helped me. Whether it was a woman to woman “I have felt that too”; or a transparency that made me feel I had a friend to walk through life with. You are beautiful; You are real; You are positive – when I couldn’t be; You are humble. Please continue with your reality. You are helping – saving – people. ❤
I’ve been so happy to see Dominique move forward with her life. Recently, Dominique’s life took a wonderful new turn with her new job in Dallas. For all Dominique-lovers, it will be worth your time to watch a couple of these Dallas YouTubes. Am especially glad to see this since she recently went through a divorce. I couldn’t help it, but I felt very protective of her during that transition. I think she is perfect for this new venture connected to Dr. Phil’s enterprise. Treat yourself and listen and learn about her new life in Dallas. She is a wonderful example for women everywhere. I predict we will be seeing a lot of more of Dominique in the coming months and years.
Dominique is inspirational to me bc she’s truthful and real. It is ok to speak the hurt, challenges & growth. I watch her almost everyday. It’s like having her right there with me. She’s so refreshing! Women should support & love each other always! I recently went through a breakup. His 10 min heartless words before he left truly broke me, but now I realize it built me to become so much more resilient & happier. Thank you Dominique for sharing your story. You’re right. It is ok to move on to explore a new adventure for ourselves. Few words to describe Dominique: beautiful inside out, funny & amazing!!!
Dominique a pleasure to see you on the media stage – you are super! A kind heart & super intellect! I watched your telecasts ever since I was attending University of Houston (class of 83’)! You beautiful- don’t change your approach to life! Will b perusal your YouTube episodes! God Bless You & stay strong!
years ago, i used to not have much of an appreciation for dominique, i thought she was too much, too bold, too done up, too confident, too this and that. as i’ve grown older, and since realizing i was a wimp and NONE of those things, i’ve learned to appreciate what that “too much” was. it was confidence, integrity, honesty, it was being out there and living, saying what needs to be said, not being shy, and as she says her self, it was being BOLD AND BRAVE. i have enjoyed her content for the past several years. wishing her luck.
I have noticed with my life I don’t realize how strong I am until I am going through something stressful. That’s when I find out how much I can handle; how strong I really am and I’m proud of myself. I also can help others and I feel this is what Dominique has done for me. She has opened up to let us know what she’s going through and if it’s something I am facing or haven’t faced it helps me to know that I’m not alone and I can get through it.
I identify with Dominique on so many levels were the same age and I agree that at our age we view life differently, peace clarity everything comes with wisdom and life experiences, she’s beautiful positive role model, I’ve been following her on you tube for years now, her content is so inspiring, beautiful inside and out
For thickening hair: I have taken Brewers Yeast tabs for years. If I run out, after about 3 months of being off of it, my hair begins to thin. When I start back on it, it takes about 3 months to thicken my hair again. I am 64 and have beautiful thick hair that grows quite fast. Brewers yeast has B vitamins in it, but it is a whole food with chromium, selenium and so much more to help your hair.
I watch Dominic on my eye pad from Australia and and agree with all the positive comments her so many people have made so it would be reticular for me to repeat them. She is a wealth of information and such a pleasure to watch her from such a distance. You mention that there are details for certain products down below which I can’t ever find. Could you advise where I can as I am not very good with all this technology. By the way I am 75 years old and love fashion and everything she presents .
😢❤😢 I’m going through a divorce moving out. I am scared to death! Married 36yrs i don’t know how to be alone? I watch you for your great tip’s. But he decided he doesn’t want to be married anymore? Im freaking out. I’m independent but still scared.. you seem happy. I’m not ok. Out of the blue? I’m still asking what happened? Any advice please thank you in advance.
Curly, kinky, frizzy hair is “great”. I have it all and it’s pretty thick and took me thirty yrs to accept it, now in my mid 50s. Let’s not turn the clock back for those who don’t have straight fine hair in thinking straight hair is better. We lived decades of this lack of acceptance with curly hair.
GOD definately gives us MORE than we can handle. He has done it to me and it causes us to cry out to Jesus Christ for help and deliverance as long as we need to, in order to rely on HIM and not ourselves. I experienced a living Hell a couple times that just about Killed me. It was AWWWWFUL. I could NOT NOT bear it. I spent months balling my eyes out in agony with the dark cloud following me for months with anxitety, fear, depression, and God let me waddle in it crying to Him begging for help for months. I finally got my breakthrough in a Church Revival service with water Baptisms, healings, and miracles In Jesus Name.
“he can’t give you what you can’t handle..” Yes, please let us put this in perspective. I dare you to go say this in the face of a child who just saw brutalities happen in Ukraine or any wartorn country. If this little saying applies to you, make it global and see if it still rings true. People become traumatized by what happens to them in life.
